American opposition to 5G and other unwanted wireless installation continues to increase due to concerns about reduced property value (see 1, 2), public safety (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), health (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7), cybersecurity and environmental risks. Some opponents have described 5G installation as a form of “environmental racism.”
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is supposed to protect the public by regulating the telecom industry. It has catered to the industry instead for decades (see 1, 2). During the Trump administration lawsuits were filed against the agency for NOT protecting the public from unsafe levels of cell phone and WiFi radiation as well as 5G on Earth (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and in space. Nevertheless, the FCC has agreed to review a petition from Pensacola, FL residents who want a 5G tower removed from a historic neighborhood.

Petition submitted by Pensacola residents to remove 5G pole to be reviewed by FCC
PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) — The battle against 5G continues in Pensacola, but this time, residents might have a chance at getting a 5G pole removed for [sic] a historic downtown neighborhood.
The 5G rollout in the city started in 2019.
Since then, many residents have been upset over the locations chosen for the poles.
A 5G pole on 19th Avenue between Gadsden and Jackson streets is one of 75 approved poles in Pensacola under city permits.
But since its approval nearly two years ago, residents in the East Hill neighborhood have been battling the city, Verizon and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to stop it.
“The basis for it is they didn’t do a proper historic review and one of the reasons my wife and I moved here four years ago was because of the historic nature of this neighborhood,” said resident John Herron. “Putting this wireless infrastructure right next to historic homes, we think is inappropriate.”
Herron is one of the Pensacola residents leading this fight.
With the city’s hands tied due to a state law that prevents local governments from regulating communication services Herron, along with several neighbors, sent a petition to the FCC.
High-speed internet is safer and more secure with a wired internet connection (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10). According to telecom experts who also filed a lawsuit against the FCC, Americans have already paid to have safer high-speed internet via fiber optics (see also 1, 2, 3, 4).
Despite all of the above, the FCC seems relentless in blanketing the country with 5G anyway. The agency even amended the “OTARD Rule,” which has made it so private property owners may install 5G and WiFi antennas that will broadcast into their neighborhoods without obtaining a permit.
Opposition to 5G is worldwide and the majority of scientists oppose deployment. If you are opposed to 5G, sign and share this letter asking President Biden and Vice President Harris to stop deployment.
