Decades of research have already revealed that exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF) from cell phones and other wireless sources – including 5G – is biologically harmful. Additionally, for many years now, there have been warnings specifically about 5G and the 60 GHz band.

In fact, in 2019, telecom executives gave U.S. congressional testimony that they had NO scientific evidence that 5G is safe.
American opposition to 5G has been ongoing for years (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7). Dangerous aviation interference issues have still not been fixed at airports (see 1, 2). Additionally, in 2021, a federal court ruled in favor of petitioners who sued the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for NOT updating wireless radiation guidelines (including 5G) since 1996. Despite the court order, the agency has still not addressed this or that Electromagnetic Sensitivity (ES) is a federally recognized disability. Instead it continues to support, enable, and fund biologically and environmentally harmful wireless deployment (including 5G) and activation for controversial uses including connected vehicles, drones, and more including “child safety tech”.

FCC Empowers Short-range Radar in the 60 GHz Band For Drones, Child Safety
The FCC last week adopted what it called “new, more flexible rules” for the 60 GHz spectrum band to support state-of-the-art radar technology. The agency cited how many cutting edge technologies rely on short-range radars to support applications including alerting drivers to children left in dangerously hot cars, improving mobility and health outcomes by detecting hand gestures and respiratory functions, and assisting drones in construction, emergency rescue, and commercial settings. The new rules are intended to accelerate the time for these devices to reach the marketplace for use by consumers and in commercial applications.
The new rules will provide opportunities for unlicensed field disturbance sensor (radar) devices to operate in the 60 GHz (57-71 GHz) band and foster the creation of innovative products and services while also ensuring coexistence with other users in the band. The 60 GHz band has long allowed important unlicensed operations by users of indoor/outdoor communication devices that support the WiGig standard and wireless local area networking devices.
The Report and Order was adopted by a vote of the full Commission expanding the permissible uses for unlicensed mobile radar operations beyond the currently limited types of permissible uses. Prior to adopting these rules, the Commission had issued targeted waivers from the restrictive operations to permit operations such as the life-saving “hot car” monitors. The new rules will establish long-term, predictable guidelines to empower even more consumer-friendly and economy-driving innovations.
Opposition to 5G is worldwide and this has limited, slowed, and/or stopped deployment in some locations. Since 2017, doctors and scientists have been asking for moratoriums on Earth and in space due to biological and environmental health risks (see 1, 2, 3, 4) and the majority of scientists oppose deployment. Since 2018 there have been accounts reported worldwide of people and animals experiencing symptoms and illnesses after it was activated (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8). Some researchers have also warned that 5G activation may be contributing to COVID-19 infections as well as hundreds of thousands if not millions of bird deaths.
