Are You An American for Responsible Technology? Association of Like-Minded Organizations Offers Assistance and Resources.

By B.N. Frank

Current U.S. legislation and guidelines regarding telecommunications technology are outdated and don’t apply to how we use and are exposed to it today.  Federal campaigns including the “Race to 5G,” “Smart Cities,” the “Internet of Things,” utility “Smart” Meters, Automated Vehicles, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and more threaten public safety and health.  They also harm the environment in that they require additional energy to operate.  Infrastructure and components for these programs often have short life spans which leads to additional hazardous electronic waste (E-Waste) being dumped in landfills.  Adding insult to injury, the bulk of the costs attributed to these risky and unnecessary programs are being paid by taxpayers.

Americans for Responsible Technology is a voluntary association of organizations and individuals unified and committed to protecting the health, safety, security, privacy and property values of Americans.
