Obama and Netanyahu Lay Out Plans to Strike Iran

Susanne Posel, Contributor

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has come out publicly to state that he will authorize a military strike on Iran before US elections in November. With the Defense Minister, Ehud Barak, this is viewed as a preparatory strategy as the operation to destabilize and takeover Syria and Iran is prime on Israel’s colonization agenda to control the Middle East.

In New York, at the UN General Assembly, Netanyahu and Obama discussed their plans to use military and propaganda to justify and cover their agenda against Iran.

Tom Donlion, National Security Advisor to Obama and Ron Demer, senior advisor to Netanyahu are devising a “four-point plan” to implement Israeli strategies into US foreign policy concerning Iran.

In their scenario, Obama will inform Congress in writing that he will use military force against Iran in response to their alleged nuclear weapons program. In asking for their approval, Obama could be enabled to circumvent their decision.

It is decided that Obama will speak in Israel just weeks before the US elections wherein he will devote the US military to Israel’s plan to attack sovereign Islamic nations.

Paralleling this strategy, the federal intelligence and surveillance agencies in the US will be “upgraded” so that regardless of who is elected this November, the US government will be equipped with the necessary resources to attack Iran.

This is slated for the spring of 2013.

Israeli propaganda is reporting that Iran is “upgrading” their short-range missile defense systems in response to the US military threat.

Emily Landau, director of the Arms Control and Regional Security Project at Tel Aviv University’s Institute for National Security Studies, says that she guesses that Iran is responding to the US threat in the Gulf. Landau said:
The fact that Iran indicated that it can hit both land targets and a target at sea [with the Fateh-110 missile] seems to hint at least that this kind of message is directed at the US.
Landau maintains that Iran’s constant announcements of their growing military might be indicative that they “have special messages” that veil a threat to Israel.

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) believes that Syria and Iran will collaborate their military forces to battle the US together.

As the US continues to infiltrate Syria with state-sponsored fake revolution with the Free Syrian Army (FSA), the CFR happily favors the use of al-Qaeda in conjunction with CIA training bases in Turkey that support the FSA in destabilizing Syria.

This week, Obama warned Syria and intimated that he was not opposed to using military might against Assad. Obama used the false claim of Syria’s alleged chemical or biological weapons to justify his threat of attack.

Obama said:
We have been very clear to the Assad regime but also to other players on the ground that a red line for us is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized. That would change my equation. . . . We’re monitoring that situation very carefully. We have put together a range of contingency plans.
We cannot have a situation in which chemical or biological weapons are falling into the hands of the wrong people. We have put together a range of contingency plans. We have communicated in no uncertain terms with every player in the region that that’s a red line for us.
Obama also stated that his threat is not for Syria alone, but also alluded to Iran and perhaps other nations that are “considering chemical warfare.”

A strike on Syria would lead to an involvement with Russia. Russian naval ships have positioned themselves with troops off the coast of Tartus.

When Israel moves to attack Syria, Russia will be strategically placed to respond.

This would lead to another world war.

"Obama will inform Congress in writing that he will use military force against Iran in response to their alleged nuclear weapons program."

LOL Why does this sound really familiar? Can't quite place a finger on it, but it seems like we've been here before.

The only real question in my mind, is how would Russia REALLY respond to this? Seems to me it would be impossible for them to back down, and it's not in their nature to back down, but it's difficult to imagine that they'd actually get into this fight.

I do think a war is coming...a big one. The question is who the players will be.

This article flies with a total lack of sources or evidence.
DAle observes:
First, let's establish that, according to the Jerusalem Chronicle:

" Iran does not have a nuclear weapon nor is it on the verge of acquiring one. The consensus view of American and Israeli intelligence agencies remains that Iran has not decided to make a nuclear weapon

So this would be a "preventive war." According to Eisenhower:

All of us have heard this term "preventive war" since the earliest days of Hitler. I recall that is about the first time I heard it. In this day and time, if we believe for one second that nuclear fission and fusion, that type of weapon, would be used in such a war — what is a preventive war?
I would say a preventive war, if the words mean anything, is to wage some sort of quick police action in order that you might avoid a terrific cataclysm of destruction later.
A preventive war, to my mind, is an impossibility today. How could you have one if one of its features would be several cities lying in ruins, several cities where many, many thousands of people would be dead and injured and mangled, the transportation systems destroyed, sanitation implements and systems all gone? That isn't preventive war; that is war.
I don't believe there is such a thing; and, frankly, I wouldn't even listen to anyone seriously that came in and talked about such a thing.
... It seems to me that when, by definition, a term is just ridiculous in itself, there is no use in going any further.
There are all sorts of reasons, moral and political and everything else, against this theory, but it is so completely unthinkable in today's conditions that I thought it is no use to go any further.
News Conference of (11 August 1954)
Variant: When people speak to you about a preventive war, you tell them to go and fight it. After my experience, I have come to hate war. War settles nothing."
Quoted in Quote magazine (4 April 1965)

So, a strike would be Hitlerian and settle nothing.

Also distorted in this article is Obama's attempts to forestall a pre-emptive strike. That is from the sources Posel provides.

Posel has been predicting the apocalypse endlessly. NOw she has Obama planning with the Israeli hawks to strike Iran, even before they meet to discuss it. The scenario laid out is provided without evidence. This is a pitiful effort to distort history. Fake lefty Posel secretes the venom of rightwing paranoia and denunciations of Obama (who has agreed to let NATO go house to house to get your guns, and who has plans in the next few months to bomb a govt building and lock of the "patriots" in a false flag operation...according to Posel).

Check the sources...they either refute what she writes or repeat without evidence her outlandish claims.

I hope I am right.

If someone was threatening you with a chemical attack, wouldn't you get the hell out of there? Why do these bank puppet fools keep putting our military men in extreme harms way?

Answer: they are delusional psychopaths.

The real delusion is the herd mentality of the sheeple, waving their rag, singing their crappy war ballad, blasphemously pledging allegiance to whatever Federal system that will make them feel safe and pay them off for another month.

Get ready people, it aint just Iran and Syria, and the dumberazzholes know it.

Dale says:

By Michel Chossudovsky

Global Research, August 21, 2012

"There is considerable opposition to an Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, the report noted — with President Shimon Peres, the army’s chief of the General Staff and top generals, the intelligence community, opposition leader Shaul Mofaz, “and of course the Americans” all lined up against Israeli action at this stage."

So Posel is just making it up?
