Whenever I talk about government surveillance, there is always “that guy” who claims if I’m not doing anything illegal I shouldn’t be concerned about it.

The moment these holier than thou corporate figures get real and transparent and allow the population to surveil THEM every minute and all their nefarious doings is the day ill say “sure, surveillance bring it on” until then all I can conclude is that a gov or corp that is so paranoid that it suspects everyone is a gov and corp that is GUILTY of what it suspects everyone else of doing.

People who phone rape crisis lines, businessmen who organize mergers worth hundreds of millions of dollars, criminal informants, political organizers, medical staff. All these people have things they don’t want the government know about. Are they doing something wrong?
The elites always point the finger at the average citizen to deflect from their crimes and lies… That’s why in any commie country (where the paranoid factor is raised), you have snitches on every corner… And the little puppets they put in place (thing Mr. O), their records are sealed…

Upstate NY dabbled in Marxism/Liberalism long before NYC did, being as the Anglos who took over the originally Dutch (eastern portion of Upstate NY) and German (Western NY) megastate used that way of war and thinking to capture it in the first place.
NYC fell into Marxism, naturally, due to its size and influx of minorities, but it still remains historically one of the more right-leaning (socially) cities. Rural Midwest is far more liberal than many a NYer.

Really? then how come the Mid-West has fewer gun laws, fewer stupid regulations, like no 32 oz soda’s etc., than nanny State NY and NYC. Also, please explain how most Mid-West States are red and NY is blue.
