Every four years, the illusion of democracy and accountable government is reinforced to the public by an expensive media circus and presidential election. Meanwhile, an annual conference of members of the world’s wealthiest and most influential is held in near-secrecy with little attention given to the significance of such a gathering.
Why are we encouraged to vote for politicians, but discouraged from considering the sobering fact that the United States and other Western nations are now ruled by a corporate and private oligarchy?
An intensive research study by Princeton University in 2014 concluded that the US is indeed more accurately described as a functioning oligarchy, rather than a democracy or a republic. An oligarchy is a small group of people who effectively control a country, a business, or an institution. Rulers may distinguish themselves as royalty, politicians, businessmen, wealthy, highly educated, or as people in positions of military control.
The study also found: “When a majority of citizens disagrees with economic elites and/or with organized interests, they generally lose.” [Source]
Attendees and organizers of the Bilderberg conference hold key positions of influence in government, industry, or are of significant social influence. They have the capacity to affect world events in ways that elected officials simply do not. The conference is a chance for them to congregate without the burden of official responsibilities or a permanent record.
Every year, between 120-150 political leaders and experts from industry, finance, academia and the media are invited to take part in the meeting. The meeting is a forum for informal discussions about megatrends and major issues facing the world.The meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule, which states that participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s) nor of any other participant may be revealed. Bilderberg represents the globalization of empire, a form of international rule where the ideas and goals of a wealthy elite are realized through an organization of business and personal contacts.
Coverage of this event is mostly done by independent journalists who face serious harassment and intimidation by law enforcement and private security, which is in stark contrast to the volume and type of media attention given to presidential politics.
What most Americans believe to be ‘Public Opinion’ is in reality carefully crafted and scripted propaganda designed to elicit a desired behavioral response from the public.

The passion that the American people have for self-governance is evident in how seriously people take local and national American politics. It would be impressive to see this same energy directed at the roots of global problems by re-directing accountability onto those who are better deserving of our collective attention.
A righteously outraged and unified public is capable of swift and furious social and political change, which is why the elite use propaganda. Some 90% of all media consumed in the world is owned and controlled by just 6 mega-corporations, who, by omission and other tactics, work to manufacture consent while keeping we the people divided in every way possible.

there are on three countries that have a reptilian masonic agenda, AMERICA,BRITAIN and ISRAEL the unification is called ABI, all the countries that it has caused chaos in has spilled over into EUROPE, and is now beginning to backfire, because the countries that they assumed to be allies are beginning to turn against them, and many people are beginning to see the light, so to speak, the refugee crises that they thought was engineered by Muslim Extremists, was in fact entirely orchestrated by the USA when they bombed their homelands, there was nowhere else that they could go, so it does not take an Einstein to realise that when you get a sudden influx of people into countries of Europe, many people of those countries are going to be worried about their sudden loss of traditions, and it is now the belief of people, that this is what the US was counting on, was conflict with Muslims, and to forget who created the problem, when I say backfire, it is not just a cultural problem anymore, it is a general problem, and now that trio of evil ABI, needs to clean up their back yard big time. because it only a matter of time before EUROPE starts pointing a finger at the real cause of their problem.
You forgot France, one of the lairs of the Rothschilds. Who is cooperating with TPTB? Answer: The elites of Asia (esp. China), Russia, and the Middle East, et al. The battle for freedom has to do with empowering the serfs, not more of the same pitting nation state against nation state…and the tag team accomplice below (HS) needs to understand this too as do several others working ironically (!) for Russian billionaire plutocrats and global intelligence agencies apparently paid more than tenured professors according to a recent investigative journalism report on the explosion of paid trolls.
Well said. The bankster-political cabal is a global problem and I agree that picking out a small amount of countries to blame simply stirs up devision. What is self evident is that most people, what ever their national identity, race and religion have only one agenda, which is to live peacefully. All countries throughout history with military power have, are and sadly will always, misuse that power to some extent or other. If they aren’t using it against other nations they enforce it upon their own. Radical groups take hold as an express reaction to that. I am not in any shape or form condoning radical groups who will happily kill innocent civilians, merely pointing out why they come into being.
I think in the West there is this high gloss Political Correctness, under which lies a ruthless agenda by un elected forces (mainly banking and big corporations), to corral us like sheep so as to better control and loot us (not just loot us financially by their now completely corrupt monetary policies which en rich the already obscenely rich at the expense of everyone else, but to loot us of our democratic rights by dumbing us down and controlling most of the main stream media).
My own take on mass immigration into Europe and the US is that it is part of the elites NWO mania. They think if the West becomes inter racial, national identities and loyalties can be eradicated, making their control over the masses ever stronger. The USA and EU elites are dead set on this. They live lives of protected, luxurious isolation from Main St. They literally do regard us as sheep. It is that realisation which is making more and more citizens in the West lose any faith in elected politicians (knowing these politicians are mere puppets of the Deep State). In the case of Europeans the Deep State is the EU, which has become a bureaucratic dictatorship, with laws made behind closed doors by unelected officials and then implemented via back doors in the hope the sheep take no notice. The problem is the sheep are starting to notice. Here in the UK over 60% of our laws are made by the EU. We have out of control and thus unsustainable immigration due to the EU. We can do nothing to stop this because of EU laws on free movement. If a country no longer has the power to decide its most important laws, one of them being immigration, then its elected parliament becomes a devolved parliament to a much more powerful one (that in the case of the EU, doesn’t even reside in its own country).
At the end of the day, no power is stronger than that of the people. However it takes sacrifice and commitment to keep liberty. The West became fat on endless easy credit and assumed democracy could take care of itself. It doesn’t and it is in the process of dying precisely because not enough of us have appreciated how precious a thing it is and the hundreds of years of struggle and suffering of Western nations for people to have democratic rights.
Against the mighty forces of every main stream UK political Party being officially pro Europe, with Cameron a puppet to big US banking interests (and indeed his pro EU campaign funded by Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan, both notorious for their corruption), with the BBC and most other main stream media pumping out pro EU garbage, it is astonishing that many Brits have managed to see through the propaganda. The fact is, in or out of this lunatic EU machine, the EU cannot survive in its present form. Europeans don’t forget their histories and the endless wars and dictators. Who in their right minds wants to see their country become a a region of one huge EU banking dictatorship run by Germany and France! Even many Germans and French people are fed up with what the EU has turned into.
I hope my fellow Brits do find the courage to resist all the threats coming from the EU and the US, with Obama flying in to tell us we will get no trade deals with the US if we leave Eurocrat land and both Merkel, Hollande and the German finance minster saying the UK will be shut out completely if we leave. Quite frankly I don’t take to threats like that. This EU has helped to make me poor (my rent going up 23% this year due to a UK housing crisis in turn due to uncontrolled immigration). I would rather be made poor by the decisions of my own government than by those of an unelected EU Commission which not a single European citizen can vote out of office. I want the laws of this land made by the people of this land, who I and my fellow citizens can hold accountable for their actions. God knows, we all have enough coping with the politicians of our own countries without needing to be ruled over by those of other countries, whose names most of us don’t even know!
Apologies for the rant. I simply think the time has come for Western citizens to step up to the plate, if we don’t then we are all headed to become versions of China and Russia (as in ruled completely by a ruthless and unaccountable elite).
Very well said and remarkably astute summary! Thank you for the perspective from a kindred spirit in the UK. If only more people had such clarity we could, as the allegory in Orwell’s 1984, collectively shake our powerful bodies and the global elite would fall off like flies.
The cost of living is soaring in the US too as real wages lose ground and inflation in several sectors increases by double digits year over year. That’s the goal of Agendas 21 and 2030, to create austerity and technocrat mandated rationing and redistribution and it is taking root as a formal UN plan all around the globe. They don’t mind that we are losing faith our democratic republic because they want us to become disgusted and demoralized such that we let them impose their new global system on us. It’s a very old ideology, a twist on feudalism that goes back to Europe before the USA was founded, and centuries before that in other parts of the world = Iron Law of Politics but this time they intend to fully capture and control all resources on the planet.
Are you familiar with the work of professor Antony Sutton, a British scholar who worked as an academic in the US? His work irrefutably proved the western global elite supported and funded the west’s enemies to build them up and control them, puppeteering all sides in every conflict and major war, as well as domestically.
I agree, we must seize the moment and westerners need to fully awaken now while we can still communicate and before the technocratic control grid goes in high gear able to silence dissenters by switching off their electricity and financial transactions with the tapping of a few keys.
