Minutes ago, a small passenger plane pilot made an emergency belly-landing on Interstate 84 in Boise Idaho – something you might expect to see only in a James Bond movie.

So far, there are no injuries reported in the gliding crash that shared traffic during rush hour.

Law enforcement agencies say the single-engine aircraft touched down at 7 a.m. Mountain Time on the eastbound lanes a mile west of the Boise Airport. The cause for the emergency landing is unclear and it is not known if this plane took off or was heading toward the Boise Airport.

The incident, of course, resulted in a major traffic backup. Drivers who finally made it past the accident were startled to see an airplane resting on the highway.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to get a plane off the highway? Check the progression of it below.

Well done, everyone!
