'Drones May Be Our Only Hope of Finding Him'

Bring in the Drones for policing America
Eric Blair
Activist Post

How many laws, procedures, and civil liberties can the LAPD break in their crazed manhunt for Chris Dorner?  It seems there is no end.

Their shoot first tactic that resulted in two injured parties and likely a massive lawsuit for the taxpayers is the most obvious. Then you have warrantless checkpoints and house-to-house searches which most sleeping Americans consider normal operating procedure in our rights-deficient post-9/11 world.

But as many people predicted, this manhunt for the alleged corruption-fighting cop killer is now justifying the use of drones over American skies for police use.

According to the Express:
A senior police source said: 'The thermal imaging cameras the drones use may be our only hope of finding him. On the ground, it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack.'
Asked directly if drones have already been deployed, Riverside Police Chief Sergio Diaz, who is jointly leading the task force, said: 'We are using all the tools at our disposal.'
The use of drones was later confirmed by Customs and Border Patrol spokesman Ralph DeSio, who revealed agents have been prepared for Dorner to make a dash for the Mexican border since his rampage began.
He said: 'This agency has been at the forefront of domestic use of drones by law enforcement. That’s all I can say at the moment.'
No mention of whether the drones being used to find Dorner are armed, but considering the LAPD's shoot-on-sight policy, and Obama's precedent for killing Americans without due process, it would not be surprising if this manhunt ends with a missile strike. But given their track record so far, they'll likely kill an innocent snow boarder at Big Bear in another case of "mistaken identity".

What's interesting is, as precincts like Seattle and others around the country are banning the use of drones because of their civil liberties consequences, a "successful" demonstration of how drones can be used by local police may cause them to reconsider.

Conveniently, this CBS video came out a few days ago highlighting the increased demand for drones in California police departments:

San Diego, California News Station - KFMB Channel 8 -

Dorner's tactics are indefensible. But I have a question for residents of Los Angeles: Who are you more afraid of, Chris Dorner who seems to only be targeting cops, or the LAPD who's targeting anyone fitting the general description of Dorner or his vehicle and will use "all the tools at their disposal"?

Finally, the LAPD appears to be fulfilling Dorner's claims of using excessive force; and the use of drones in America is the ultimate abuse of power that has national ramifications, especially if this tactic is portrayed as being successful which we all know it will be.

The failures of the LAPD & gov is showing itself very nicely & the American pulbic should wake up & see it as it is, but they won't!

Okay, I haven't been following this story very closely, but if they're using this as an excuse to roll out check points, door-to-door searches, and drone usage, my gut tells me that this whole thing may be a false-flag op.

The Hegelian Dialectic.

...and don't think that the establishment wouldn't sacrifice a few dozen of their loyal drones either (cops), because they see them as being just as expendable as everyone else.

Extrajudicial killing is official US policy. Doing so violates fundamental international, constitutional, and US statute laws.

Article 3 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states:

Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.

Article 6 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights states:

Every human being has the inherent right to life. This right shall be protected by law. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his life.

Common Article 3 of the four Geneva Conventions states:

(T)he passing of sentences and the carrying out of executions without previous judgment pronounced by a regularly constituted court, affording all the judicial guarantees which are recognized as indispensable by civilized peoples" are prohibited at all times under all circumstances with no exceptions.

The Constitution's Fifth Amendment states:

No person (shall) be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.

US statute law (18 USC 1111 - Murder) states:

Murder is the unlawful killing of a human being with malice aforethought.

What are the odds of "Dorner" being an anagram for Drone(r)

Crazy man on the loose, we are all in danger until the cops stop him.

Keystone cops blast away at anyone and everyone, make a big mess out of everything.

Damn police check points, police shooting innocent civilians, damn house to house searches....damn damn damn!

Nice peaceful smart, never wrong quiet DRONES.
DRONES will save you, now go back to TV and shopping.

If this guy gets taken down in any way by a drone, the whole thing is a big act.
This might be real, I give it about a 20% probability of that.

Problem, action, solution... every time. I also agree. We(nation) are fighting terrorists, that don't even exist, except as an illusion. Most all of these incidences in the last decade are all problem, action, solution.

The guy has triggered a 'MACHO Hollywood Movie Hero Thing'!This is very much like Wesley Snipes cop movie where he tries to prove himself innocent of the conspired accusations on him.I think it'll be quite cool if he is innocent and has done that to prove his innocence.

Look what 1 well trained individual with a plan can do to the system. Anyone who says a well trained , well armed resistance would be futile is not paying attention.

Another slick plan by the elitists.Stage a crazy killer cop on the run and use the drones to find him and make people think how great these drones are.See if it wasn't for the use of drones the killer cop on the loose would have killed many more.

how in the hell is a drone going to find this man??? Anyone....anyone at all? Is the guy microchipped....I think not. So why in gods name would a drone be able to find him.

How ridiculous. Not worth of discussion IMO.

Here's what I saw/read. I would believe this before any the bs on the news or web.

This is just an EXCUSE for the police to make people think how WONDERFUL drones are so people will welcome them in open arms. But in REALITY, this guy was probably set up since the police are out there, shooting before looking, and shot 3 folks delivering morning newspapers.

What if Dorner is already dead and they are using this bullshit to make drones acceptable, good point, whoever made it, about the anangram of drone being dorner.

Anonymous said...

I believe that Dorner has a lot more to say than what he has said already, but I don't think he will be allowed to speak it because the powers will sanitize his silence by a lethal strike of some sort. I believe Dorner understood that in the beginning. It would be wonderful to hear his side of the story but sadly his story and life will be sacrificed for the "greater good" of all administrations and agendas involved in this fiasco.

its a scam.! its an excuse to use drones, its one of those "you know it makes sense" tricks.

You can defeat an infrared camera with a space blanket (survival blanket). Hell, you can jump into a body of water to mask your body temperature. The drones are as useless in a man hunt as the LAPD, if you know their weaknesses.

This gov't gets more disgraceful by the day.

How do we get rid of them? They have all the guns and all the power.

Hey, prayer works if you pray to the right god. And his name is not God or Jesus.

Jesus is a greek word which means Zeus. Hay zeus. "Son of Zeus" and Zeus is Satan. There was no J in the Greek, Hebrew or English until the 1700's anyway. It is not Jashua. His name is Yashayah in Hebrew. (Ya shi a), Means our savior in Hebrew

The name of God is Ahayah. (a hi a) I AM that I AM. It's not Yah, Jah, Yahovah, Jehovah. Those names mean Satan. Ya= a god, and hovah means mischief, destruction, etc. Satan.

We've been conned. There is power in the correct name.

If I call you George and your name is Bill, you will not pay attention.
