Pennsylvania officially joined several other northeast states in introducing a marijuana legalization bill on Monday.
“There are other intoxicants that are far worse that we do not treat the same way. We do not accuse people of criminal offenses for consuming,” said Sen. Daylin Leach who introduced the bill. “Marijuana is not physically addictive. Alcohol and tobacco are physically addictive.”
