School District In Texas Closes For “COVID” Cases

By Mac Slavo

It’s starting again. After a college and major corporation brought back mask mandates earlier this week, an entire school district in south Texas has closed for an uptick in COVID cases.

The classes are shut down temporarily until August 29th. The superintendent of Runge ISD announced in a letter Monday that schools will be closed from Tuesday, August 22nd through Friday, August 25th. Runge, Texas is in Karnes County and is just under an hour and a half away from San Antonio.

“The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community is a top priority,” Superintendent Hector Dominguez Jr. said in a statement. How many cases are a problem warranting closure? Ten. Ten in the entire district. Ten staff members have cold symptoms and took COVID tests that came out positive, so the mini tyrants running the indoctrination centers shut them down.

They have also canceled all extracurricular activities and practices.  Students and staff can return to the classroom at 7:50 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 29.

“Please be advised that a new instructional calendar will be presented soon, indicating new instructional dates for students,” Dominguez said in the letter.

A Kentucky school district has done the same thing less than two weeks into the school year. All in-person classes were canceled for the rest of the week after nearly a fifth of its students came down with COVID-19, strep throat, the flu, and other illnesses.

The district canceled classes on Tuesday and Wednesday and will shift to remote learning on Thursday and Friday. Extracurricular activities, including sports practices and games, have been canceled through the week to allow for a deep clean of the schools, Schuler said.

“We’re sanitizing our buses and our buildings and giving our staff and our students time to heal,” he said.

School districts want one thing: everyone vaccinated.
