Recently the company issued a new warning about another dangerous imperfection in its vehicles.

Thousands Of Tesla Vehicles Recalled Over Potential Cruise Control Problem

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)Tesla is recalling more than 285,000 vehicles made in China over a potential cruise control problem.

According to the company, the cruise control system could be activated by mistake, resulting in accidental acceleration.

About 250,000 vehicles, Model 3 and Model Y, made at the Shanghai factory are being recalled.

The problem can be fixed with a free software upgrade either remotely or at a dealership.

In April, Tesla owners wondered aloud about suing the company if “Full Self Driving” is never possible.  Seems reasonable, doesn’t it.
