Russia Threatens To Fire Back On U.S. Proxies, Special Forces If Fired On Again

By Brandon Turbeville

Even after the apparent cooling of tensions between Russia and the United States in Syria, it seems that the potential for direct military conflict between the two world powers is increasingly likely yet again. As has been typical in the Syrian conflict, the steps toward greater likelihood of confrontation is the result of the U.S. push to provoke Russia and threaten the Syrian military with repercussions for retaking Syrian territory from Daesh.

Ever since the SAA began its campaign to liberate Deir ez-Zour, the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), a collection of Kurdish and Arab terrorists working under the guise of “moderates,” has been racing toward Deir ez-Zour as well in order to prevent the SAA from retaking the city in full and to prevent the Syrian government from having access to its resources.

Now, as both the Syrian military and Russia attempts to break the back of terrorists in Syria, the U.S.-backed SDF forces have opened artillery fire on both SAA and Russian positions, prompting a warning from Russia itself.

This warning is concerning not simply because the U.S. is openly supporting forces firing on Russian troops but because American troops are embedded with the SDF. Thus, if the Russians fire back on the SDF, there exists the real possibility that there will be an exchange of fire between Russia and the United States.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated that the SDF had taken up positions on the eastern banks of the Euphrates alongside U.S. Special Forces. The SDF/USSF twice fired on Syrian/Russian forces.

“A representative of the U.S. military command in Al Udeid (the U.S. operations center in Qatar) was told in no uncertain terms that any attempts to open fire from areas where SDF fighters are located would be quickly shut down,” Major-General Igor Konashenkov said in a statement.

“Fire points in those areas will be immediately suppressed with all military means,” he said.

There have been face-to-face meetings held between U.S. and Russian generals, a rare occurrence, most likely as a result of the incident.

“They had a face-to-face discussion, laid down maps and graphics,” said Army Colonel Ryan Dillon, a Baghdad-based spokesman for the U.S.-led coalition.

While the face-to-face meeting is a positive reaction, the past few weeks have shown an increased willingness on the part of the United States to directly engage, or engage via proxy, Russian forces. It has also seen Russia willing to publicly call the United States on its support of terror.

  1. Yeah and in the west, like Norway, our MSM is whitewashing ISIS, of course not by that name, but more like the bogus SDF witch is their proxy army of mercs, and Assad is the one doing all the crimes, the beheading aren’t even mentioned any more, its all about how bad Syrians are, and Iran of course, to Hezb.
I was slack jawed, not often, but this days its more and more telling, their propaganda war is crumbling, nobody belives them anymore, even in the Debate forums they dont believe anymore, of course sett aside the usual “trolls” whom cant have anuf wars, anyone can do, the excuses are made as they proceed.

Yeah, hehe, its laughable, if it wasnt for the graveness of their lies, desite and forging of fake storys and videos, all that didnt help, and now its going down the drain, and what I find curious, is the total lack of truth, from Yugoslavia to the present Syria, nothing, no admitting of anything wrong, in stead its rock steady, more and more insane propaganda, and when Morgan F, comes along the insanity is complete
They censure because they know we can rip everything into shreds.
Its not even an challenge anymore, its just to stupid, you cant fight idiocy at this level, I cant imagine what, except of course, mushroom clouds is popping, but then it is to late.

And to read about Russian collusion in everything this days inside the Asylum, where the inmates sees someone crawling under the wall paper and screams about Russians everywhere, total paranoia, sprinkled with an massive ignorance, the asylum is run by the nuttiest of them all.
And now, the entire world watched the Asylum from outside, where the inmates go more and more mad.
Nobody believe you America, I dont believe an single word of anything, incl weather forecasts, nothing.
I just watch the freak show in real time.
Thanks, thats why I dont miss the Tube.

    peace

  2. Wipe out the ‘Khaki Heroes’. Let them understand that this is the price for treason, murder, nation-destruction, and the violation to their SWORN OATH.

  3. a real article. thank you!

  4. According to the constitution, nobody over there is a representative of the US or its people. If Russia shoots back, it won’t be shooting at anyone serving the United States.

  5. It simply does not make any sense why Russia would actively work with the US in the “security counsel” to terrorize the world — while Washington is fighting Russia by proxy in Syria and sanctioning Russia.

You’d think that Russia (and China too) would be smart enough to realize that Washington will never honor any under-the-table agreement.

  6. There are basically four types that VOLUNTEER, not drafted, into the American military.
    1) Their parents and grandparents were all military. It’s in the family and they follow.
    2) They naïvely think they are serving their country and protecting it.
    3) They have no job or education and see this as a means.
    4) They want a legal means of killing people.

Once in the club they see what is really going on and many kill themselves. There are more suicides in the military than killed by the enemy. The organization is run by psychopaths and has completely run amok.
They basically have become the strong arm of the big banking system and are fighting resource wars for them.
How do you think they are paying off the trillions in debt to them? It sure isn’t with dollars.

If the American people on the whole do not respond to the mentally deranged despotism that permeates DC and the pentagon, it will only be a matter of time before they get us, as a nation, into a war that will decimate hundreds of thousands, but most importantly it won’t be those that start it. They will run off and hide in a hole.

  7. The US is betraying all of Western civilization. Its support of terrorists (there is no such thing as a moderate terrorist), makes the scourge of terrorism in Western nations even worse. The US must cease this gross hypocrisy. Either it is against terrorism or it is not. It can’t be both!

  8. To be perfectly candid, I don’t understand why Mr. Putin hasn’t ALREADY fired back. This nation is a full fledged oligarchy/sewer. A sewer was meant to be washed out.

  9. the Syrian government / military are not required to justify their defence of sovereign territory.
if an american soldier dies when attacked by the legitimate government of Syria, the question that begs, is what was that american soldier doing in a sovereign nation that they are ostensibly defending.
the americans should pack up and go home now.
stop financial support of isis, white helmets and sdf and whatever other organisations.
immediate moratorium on refugees entering europe and the west, if they are not the genuine article, displaced by illegal wars and “police actions”, they should return to wherever they came from, and they can rape the women there (almost certain to suffer immediate consequences)
since the un can’t actually fulfil its own mandate, it should be dissolved immediately, no need to replace it either (because anyone or any organisation that thinks it might do a better job, is already self-deluded)

  10. We have already BEATEN you. Again.
