Even though the Supreme Court often gets things wrong on the Constitution, the Prigg case has not only stood the test of time, it has helped cement James Madison’s advice that states and individuals should refuse “to comply with officers of the Union.”

  1. However, the states help by simply doing nothing. They make this argument they aren’t going to lend support. Meaning, they won’t offer any manpower. The Feds don’t care as they bring in their own people. Not only should the states NOT help but they should prevent the Feds from carrying out their illegal and unconstitutional activities.
