Hundreds Of Pages of TTIP Agreement Leaked

Greenpeace has leaked hundreds of pages of the controversial Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) which show that negotiations may be in danger of collapsing.

According to newly leaked documents, the United States and the European Union are divided on certain agreements to the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). After releasing the documents, Greenpeace Netherlands stated:

These documents make clear the scale and scope of the trade citizens of the United States and the European Union are being asked to make in pursuit of corporate profits. It is time for the negotiations to stop, and the debate to begin.

Should we be able to act when we have reasonable grounds to believe our health and wellbeing is at risk, or must we wait until the damage is done?

The TTIP has been negotiated in secret and the only information available to the public has come from unofficial leaks. “Now that we can see the actual texts, the EU negotiators have nowhere left to hide,” John Hilary, the executive director of War on Want, told The Independent. “The gloves are off, and they know they are in for a proper fight.”

The Independent reports that the documents indicate the U.S. is attempting to change regulation in Europe to lower environmental protections, consumer rights, and other policies important to EU citizens. The documents show that trade representatives on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean have experienced “irreconcilable” differences that could possibly interfere with negotiations.

Greenpeace complains that corporations are being “granted a privileged voice in important decisions” and intervening at the “earliest stages of the decision making process”.

“TTIP is being cooked up behind closed doors because when ordinary people find out about the threat it poses to democracy and consumer protections, they are of course opposed to it,” said Guy Taylor, trade campaigner at Global Justice Now. “It’s no secret that the negotiations have been on increasingly shaky ground. Millions of people across Europe have signed petitions against TTIP, and hundreds of thousands have taken to the streets to call for an end to the negotiations.

Just weeks ago, Activist Post reported an estimated 40,00090,000 people marched against the trade deal in Hannover, Germany.  The protests were organized by an “anti-free-trade alliance” made up of numerous groups, including trade unions, environmental activists and church groups. There has been massive opposition to the TTIP in Germany. In April 2015, thousands of Germans also took to the streets to oppose the TTIP.

In 2015, Reuters reported that, “a recent YouGov poll showed that 43 percent of Germans believe TTIP would be bad for the country, compared to 26 percent who see it as positive.” In a recent survey by Germany’s Bertelsmann Foundation, only 1 in 5 Germans said they were in favor of TTIP. Still, Merkel told the press that adopting the TTIP would help European economies grow. “We need to speed matters up now,” she said. Obama praised Merkel, calling her a “consistent and ready” leader.

Supporters of the TTIP believe the deal will make trade cheaper and easier, while boosting the economy. Opponents of the agreement have focused on dangers to environmental and consumer protections. During the press conference, Obama said it was necessary to enact the TTIP because 95% of markets are outside the United States.  President Obama said he was confident the TTIP would be finished by the end of the year, and that the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which covers 12 pacific nations, would  “start moving forward” after the U.S. presidential election. The TTIP is the European version of the TPP. The TPP has faced waves of resistance over the last several years for the same corporate influence that has tainted negotiations of the TTIP.

The fact that anyone is even considering the TTIP speaks of widespread EU corruption.
Why should we want to be slaves of the corporations, eating and drinking poison, both food and pharmaceuticals?
Brexit – even Cameron is better than TTIP.

  2. Funny, I didn’t see this on bbc tv this morning…

At this point you should not be even watching the bbc mainstream.

      • You have to know what the enemy is thinking so you can develop a plan and counteract it. You should know that David. ;0)

I haven’t seen one hint of it in the canadian press either. There is a 100% media blackout on this leak, which tells you everything you need to know. They don’t want word of it getting out because it will naturally cast light on the TTIP’s older cousin, the TPP.

  3. Question?…I personally have known & know-one deceased & another (ol Hippy(lol) of the original founders of Greenpeace….& since ‘Green Peace’ was infiltrated & taken over from the top by the self-same ‘spooks’ that run all the NWO oligarch funded NGO’s well over 25yrs ago…Why would ‘They’ release this ‘Smoking Gun’ now?…either… fulfilling their satanic code of announcing plans in advance to satisfy Lucifer, by obtaining our (convoluted) en masse ‘permission’…or…another deliberate misleading psy-op of 97% truth with a ‘dark-side’ 3% twist?….or… some faction within the group actually circumvented the GP hierarchy & slipped it out there surreptitiously?…Your guess is as good as mine….but my advice is still to question everything.

Yes, its very interesting that this became exceptional apparent with the pseudo science of climate change support of Green peace and other NGO. The concept of carbon causing climate change was cooked up decades ago by the Petroleum industry.

This type of psyops is to cause apathy, anger and general in fighting. It also allows the State to suddenly step in and become the hero at any point or the fascist UN to become the hero. Just emotion blacken. When we need to project enlightening from each other.

When a logical step would be to get rid of them all, thats any Ruler. We humans don’t need them.

      • Cheers Elliot…you have a very perspicacious & researched view (imo)… their multi pronged attack on ‘mom & pop apple pie America’ & the rest of the globe is beyond the pale at this point..’.unbeeeleeevable’ hubris & self-centered greed on the part of the Khazarian Mafia that are the junkyard ‘dogs of war’ that are used by the shadow masters of the 0.001% pyramid cap chess club/ old Black Nobility 13 families… that stretch back into arcane antiquity to even before the flood in my mind of ancient Earth civilizations….& you’re right….pitchforks & torches time to clean up the karma.
…I personally wish there was a tsunami of elevated consciousness photon energy heading our way from the center of our galaxy to scour out their foundations & wash their evil out of everyone’s minds with the final collapse of the Matrix …if wishes are fishes (lol)

Bogus journalism here. So…am I the only one asking “WHAT IS IN ALL THESE ALLEGED ‘LEAKED’ DOCUMENTS? WHERE ARE THEY?”

All we get are B.S. articles such as this one above where this TTIP is always mentioned but no one has a single good idea WHAT IT SAYS. Where are the documents? Why are there no pull-quotes from this TTIP leaked pages? Why cannot I download and read them? Why when doing Internet searches, all I find is more of same with no substance? Who leaked these? Are they a trustworthy source? How do I know this is not 100% pure fabrication, COINTELPRO being led to think what is not true? Why isn’t anyone else asking these questions?

    • Hey have you figured out that SE Ohio is in the Appalachia region and the culture there is reflective of W VA and Kentucky Appalachian regions, ie hillbillies?

So now you are fan of so called trade agreements? Wow. Talk about double dumbing down.

  7. Hopefully it fails, then the TPP can fail right after it, and everyone who was part of it can be thrown in jail.

  8. “Supporters of the TTIP believe the deal will make trade cheaper and easier, while boosting the economy.”

Yes and we all know the only people who will profit – just as we know the suppression of wages, spanning 46 years now, will continue unabated ; indeed, probably, will be accelerated.
