Pentagon Admits to Shipping $1.29 Billion in Bombs to Saudi Arabia – to Defend Oil Reserves

It was recently reported that the US State Department approved a deal to sell the government of Saudi Arabia a shipment of “smart bombs” that is worth over $1.29 billion. The shipment will include a total of 22,000 bombs, which are intended to be used in both Syria and Yemen. Saudi Arabia has long been a strong ally of the US government and has been used to carry out many conflicts in the Middle East in addition to the military operations that were already made public.

In a statement released by the Pentagon’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency, it was blatantly admitted that the US government’s relationship with Saudi Arabia was heavily tied to oil reserves in the Middle East.

“This acquisition will help sustain strong military-to-military relations between the United States and Saudi Arabia, improve [the ability of Saudi forces to work] with the United States, and enable Saudi Arabia to meet regional threats and safeguard the world’s largest oil reserves,” the statement said.

This stunning admission was overlooked by the mainstream media, who barely even reported that the deal was taking place.

The deal is still not 100% finalized, and it is being decided which major US weapons manufacturer will be securing the contract.

Boeing and Raytheon are currently in a bidding war for the job and are waiting to see which company will be receiving the deal.

Just last month, the US government approved another massive military arms shipment to Saudi Arabia, that time it was for $11 billion and included a shipment of Lockheed Martin warships. Just a month prior to that, the country received another $5.4 billion shipments containing 600 advanced Patriot missiles from the US.

Sadly, it is likely that these weapons will be used to kill more civilians than ISIS fighters. According to numbers recently published by the United Nations, over 2,355 civilians have been killed in Yemen during recent fighting there, the vast majority of those deaths coming from Saudi airstrikes using American bombs.

  1. Please provide the wider context here. At the behest of the Zionist bankster globalists, in 2011 the Saudis spearheaded the formation of the new middle east regional government, the Gulf Cooperation Council with six member nations and three more proposed. Using UN global governance language, the GCC agreement seeks to harmonize laws and cultural practices, and use a common currency – much like the EU blueprint. The Saudis have agreed to follow COP21 UN plans (2030 Agenda) and Agenda 21 having created a Smart City in Riyadh’s tech center (ITCC), with the GCC labeled a “Smart Region”, Qatar a “Smart Country”, etc. Iran recently signed onto the 2030 Agenda goals as well. At a 2009 UN Greenhouse Gas conference in Bangkok, Forbes reported the Saudis asked for assurances they would be given financial support when the sale of oil, their only source of income would be sharply restricted by the year 2030. They are preparing for the new transformation in several ways (e.g. hastily deported two million migrant workers right before the price of oil took a huge nosedive), following the banksters’ orders, and if they are buying weapons it must be part of the larger plan to have a stockpile of weapons in each regional governance system. The Yemen story is being spun in the Council of Foreign Relations’ Foreign Policy journal as showing a need for international intervention – global military police force under UN control and authority.

  2. This is about the dumbest thing, America could do. I know they’ll be used against Israel one day, as the bible says all countries will come against Israel one day. Saudi Arabia is a muslim country, and more than likely really hates America anyway. They won’t even allow christian churches there, so why do we even support that country?? What’s to say they won’t get mad at us one day, and use them on us?

  3. The Saudis created ISIS / ISIL for The U.S. to be used as a proxy army to overthrow Syria for the globalist power elite banksters.

    • How can we be sure ISIS was not primarily created to unleash as the big bad threat to humanity that would rationalize 1. A global military police force, 2. Set a wider precedent for armies to bomb freely across national borders, at will with no “permission” from the country under siege or permission from the nation where the armies were launched (as in “congressional approval) – the next step beyond the drone actions. 3. Augment the fear mongering “to unite” the global under world government that has been the goal the global warming or climate change meme, banking crises, Ebola, etc. 4. More surveillance and tracking and the global biometric ID to be discussed at the COP21 this December in Paris. 5. Engage in an infowar propaganda psy op to aimed at alt media readers to reinforce a false East vs. West paradigm to interject multiple layers of deception shrouding the rapid march to the global techno police state and to divide and conquer. 6. Reinvigorate support for the military industrial complex and serve as yet another distraction. 7. Create a global narrative that the US and its allies are rogue and incompetent and thus the UN must oversee conflicts 8. Create a narrative of emerging rivals and hegemons aimed at Americans to prepare them for the end of the dollar as the reserve currency. Wow, that list was longer than I thought it would be!

    • If the US was determined to overthrow the Syrian government (Assad) then why was it the case that in February 2014 it was reported that “US And Israel Quietly Provide Military Support And Parts To Iran, Which In Turn Is Arming Syria” since 2012 and probably before that clandestinely. Iran had always been portrayed as a dark nemesis, yet it had been integrating itself into the neoliberal globalization model after the Iran-Iraq war under IMF and World Bank oversight and this process was rapidly accelerated after the election of western educated Rouhani who ran on a platform of merging Iran with the neoliberal global economy. Operation Merlin is another clue of many on what Iran’s true status was a fake boogeyman. A few days ago, I read a PhD dissertation on “Syria’s Neoliberal Elite” detailing how beginning in 2005 the western globalists rapidly began assimilating Syria via academic institutions, cultural alliances, economic integration, quick adoption of English in communication – the transformation was stunning and fully accepted by Syria’s elites and managerial class. In a Global Research article I read last year it was reported that some Syrians told a reporter that they informed the authorities where some foreign jihadists were holed up and it appeared to them that the responders deliberately bungled their raid allowing the jihadists an opportunity to escape. The GR author assumed this was some kind of disinfo report but I wonder if it was.
