Why President Ibrahim Traoré’s “Resource Nationalism” Terrifies The West!
President Ibrahim Traoré’s Amazing Projects explains that President Ibrahaim Traoré became president of Burkina Faso, the tiny nation in the Sahel just south of the Sahara Desert in Africa, in September 2022. At 37, Traoré is the second youngest president in the world — with a strong appeal for Africa’s young population used to much older leaders. Traoré promised to leverage his nation’s rich mineral resources for the benefit of its 24 million citizens.
Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger severed ties with ECOWAS which many young Africans believe represents Western interests. In September 2023, they created the Alliance Etats Sahel (AES) aka “Alliance Sahel or “Sahel Confederation” The AES is a role model inspiring a growing number of African nations – including Botswana, Chad, Gabon, Ghana, Tanzania, and Togo. Travel is difficult in Africa because each African nation has its own passport. So, the AES created a passport that allows member nations to travel freely within the “Alliance Sahel. This greatly facilitates trade. AES Uncovered: FULL DOCUMENTARY of Africa’s MOST FEARED Alliance 20 Months After.
Burkina Faso Drops Visa Requirements For Africans
Burkina Faso Is Now VISA-FREE for All Africans – Traoré’s Shocking Announcement! 6/18/25
Burkina Faso has just made history! President Captain Ibrahim Traoré has officially declared Burkina Faso visa-free for all African countries — a bold move aimed at dismantling colonial-era borders and pushing forward a united, sovereign Africa.
This isn’t just a policy; it’s a revolutionary step toward true Pan-Africanism, economic integration, and continental freedom. In this powerful documentary, we unpack the deeper meaning behind Traoré’s visa-free declaration, its impact on African unity, and how it aligns with the rising movement of self-determined leadership in West Africa. Is this the beginning of the African Union finally becoming a true “Union”?
Africa Just Launched “One Africa” Currency!
Africa Just Launched ‘One Africa Currency’ | No Borders, The West Is SHOOK!
Africa Just Launched ‘One Africa Currency’ | No Borders, The West Is SHOOK! What if I told you Africa isn’t trying to create a rival to the U.S. dollar. It’s trying to leave it behind entirely? No announcements, no headlines shouting “New Currency Launched.”
Instead, something far more disruptive is already live. It’s called PAPSS; the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System. And it’s not a coin. It’s a code. A financial backbone that lets African countries trade directly in their own currencies no detour through dollars, euros, or foreign banks.
This isn’t just a workaround. It’s a quiet blueprint for total trade independence. And it’s already happening. Here’s the part that stings and explains why this system matters. Even today, most trade between African nations is still settled in dollars. And worse routed through Western banks. So, when Kenya sells coffee to Egypt, or Nigeria buys power cables from Ghana, the money often flies 6,000 miles to New York, and back again before it lands. That delay? That cost? That risk?
It’s been normal, for decades. But now, for the first time, African nations can settle that trade instantly, Directly. In their own money. No dollar. No detour. And if you think this is just an internal Africa story, Look again. It’s the beginning of a continental power shift and the global markets will feel it.

President Ibrahim Traoré’s Vision For Africa
Why Burkina Faso’s junta leader has captured hearts and minds around the world
Everything you need to know about Captain ibrahim Traore 1/28/24
One of Africa’s most revolutionary rulers is currently serving as president of Burkina Faso. The youngest president in the world, as well as in Burkina Faso. This is no other than Captain Ibrahim Traore. Captain Ibrahim Traore was born in Kera, in the commune of Bondokuy, Burkina Faso, on March 14, 1988, and has devoted his life to serving his nation.
Ibrahim showed a tremendous dedication to his people and his country from an early age. His modest upbringing gave him the opportunity to deeply understand the struggles that Burkinabes confront. Ibrahim Traoré was renowned for being “quiet” but “very talented” at his high school in Bobo-Dioulasso, after completing his elementary schooling in Bondokuy.
In 2009, Ibrahim Traoré enlisted in the Burkina Faso army. After receiving anti-aircraft training in Morocco, he was deployed to the northern Burkina Faso town of Kaya, where he was assigned to an infantry unit. After receiving a promotion to lieutenant in 2014, Traoré enlisted in the MINUSMA, a UN peacekeeping force fighting terrorism in the Sahel region. He gained popularity in 2018 as one of the brave MINUSMA soldiers in the Tombouctou Region following significant rebel strikes.
After that, he went back to Burkina Faso to help in operations against the growing insurgency of jihadists. Traoré participated in multiple counter-insurgency actions in the northern region of the country, including the “Otapuanu offensive” in 2019. He received a promotion to captain in 2020. After taking part in the coup that overthrew Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba as president in January 2022, Traoré was appointed Interim President on October 6 and designated as “Head of State, Supreme Head of the Armed Forces”.
A lot of people who had supported the January coup were disappointed in Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba, the head of the junta, for not being able to stop the Islamist insurgency. Later, Traoré stated that he and the other officers had attempted to persuade Damiba to “refocus” on the uprising, but that he was ultimately toppled because “his ambitions were diverting away from what we set out to do”. Younger officers who were on the front lines of the fight against the rebels expressed the most unhappiness with the state of affairs. Furthermore, the “Cobra” troops’ pay was delayed.
Traoré was still a captain when the conspirators staged their coup on September 30. Ibrahim Traoré places a high premium on security. He is devoted to tenaciously battling the insecurity and terrorism that have afflicted some Burkina Faso districts. In order to do this, he advocates for a comprehensive security strategy that includes strengthening intelligence capabilities and regional cooperation.
Africa’s Growing “Resource Nationalism”
The West always portrays Africa as poor and in need of aid. However, President Traoré reminded the West that Africa is rich in resources on which the West depends. These include aluminum clay (rich in the Rare Earth Minerals uranium, cobalt, lithium), bauxite, beryllium, cashews, chrome, cocoa (for chocolate) coffee, cotton, diamonds, diatomite, feldspar, fish. graphite, gold, iron ore, ivory, kainite, lead, lentils, limestone, livestock, lumber, maize, manganese, mangoes, marble, oil, palm oil, phosphate (for fertilizers), platinum, rice, rubber, salt, sand, silver, tantalum, tea, titanium, tomatoes, uranium, vermiculite, yams, wine, and zinc. Cell phones and EVs rely on resources from Africa.
President Traoré’s game-changing policies and projects are quickly revolutionizing Burkina Faso and are inspiring other African nations to follow his example. This is causing a seismic shift in global power as we watch the end of neo-colonialism that has enriched the West at Africa’s expense.Under colonialism and neo-colonialism, Africa sold its vast resources cheaply as raw materials. Europe processed those and sold Africa the expensive finished products. The video below explains that a growing number of African nations are now adopting President Ibrahim Traoré’s policy of “Resource Nationalism” which allows Africa to derive much greater profit from its resources by selling finished products rather than raw materials. This is causing a global power shift since the West is dependent on so many of Africa’s resources.

The West Needs African Resources
Why Washington is Worried About Burkina Faso’s Young Revolutionary Leader
{Excerpt} The new military government has emphasized achieving food sovereignty. A new, $1 billion initiative has been launched to mechanize agriculture and increase the production of staple crops such as rice, maize, and potatoes.
Traoré has also made moves to nationalize the nation’s mining industry. Burkina Faso’s economy revolves around gold, with the precious metal accounting for over 80% of its exports. The country is the world’s 13th-largest producer of gold, making around 100 tons per year, equivalent to about $6 billion. Yet, because foreign corporations own and control production, the nation and its people see precious little benefit from the industry. Indeed, the annual Burkinabe GDP is only around $18 billion.“Why does resource-rich Africa remain the poorest region of the world? The heads of African states should not behave like puppets in the hands of the imperialists,” Traoré said. In August, his government nationalized two key Western-owned gold mines, paying only $80 million, a fraction of the $300 million they reportedly sold for in 2023. In November, the administration announced the construction of the country’s first gold refinery.
Burkina Faso’s 50 Billion Barrel of Oil
Russia Discovers 50 Billion Barrels of Oil in Burkina Faso After France’s Exit 4/20/25
In the heart of the Sahel, where cracked earth stretches endlessly beneath a burning sun, you don’t expect to strike oil. Burkina Faso wasn’t supposed to be that kind of place. There were no legends of gushing wells, no offshore rigs, no powerful oil dynasties. It was known for its cotton, not crude. But in early 2025, beneath layers of sand and silence, a secret was pulled from the ground—an oil reserve so vast, it flipped every assumption about this country on its head. For decades, international companies bypassed Burkina Faso entirely. The big players—ExxonMobil, Shell, TotalEnergies—focused on established fields in Nigeria, Angola, Algeria. Burkina Faso? Too dry. Too risky. Too far from any port to matter. Exploration was minimal. Geopolitical instability scared investors. And yet, right under everyone’s nose, a buried empire of oil lay untouched.

But now, the narrative is changing. This video unveils a powerful revolution: one that melts softly but strikes deep. From cocoa fields in Daloa and San Pedro to secret boardrooms in Brussels, a battle is unfolding — not for land, but for value, dignity, and control. Stay to the end — because what they called a bean… is becoming a banner.
