How Israeli assets turn their own unhinged aggression into a sympathy play
The search terms ‘Israel Shooting Diplomats’ would have given you very different results yesterday than they do today.
Yesterday, Google would have alerted people to a massive scandal that happened in the West Bank. This one:
Media reports said soldiers fired warning shots near the diplomats, who were on an official visit to view humanitarian conditions around the camp where a major Israeli military operation has been ongoing since January.
The mission was hosted by the Palestinian Authority and approved by Israel, however it strayed from the approved route, media reports said, citing a statement by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Diplomats from more than 20 countries were in the group, along with staff from the UN agency that assists Palestine refugees, UNRWA. No injuries were reported. (source)

For its part Israel doesn’t deny the incident took place but it blames the delegation for wandering too close to a security fence. The IDF “regrets the inconvenience.”
Shooting at diplomats is a terrible offense and every country involved can and should demand a thorough investigation with penalties doled out depending on the findings. The fact that the delegation included representatives from more than 20 countries and that they were there on behalf of a recognized United Nations mission makes the event explosive. Israel stood to lose the last vestiges of support it had from many states including France, Egypt, the UK and Canada. A total disaster in the making for the country but perhaps a turning point for the rest of the world who suddenly had (another) overt reason to outright condemn Israel and its military perhaps leading to withholding of aid or even sanctions.
Alas, the story didn’t even get a full 12 hours in the news cycle before another incident occurred, one that perfectly obscures the shooting in the West Bank.
The reported deadly shooting of two ‘young diplomats for Israel’ at an evening reception in Washington, DC which happened at 9 p.m that same day has completely over-shadowed the West Bank event. (Note: there are many signs that indicate the DC event was a stage-managed deception but for the purposes of this article I simply want to show how the DC event -whether completely fabricated or not- has been used to cover up for Israel’s gross actions against the diplomats in the West Bank.)

Anyone overhearing parts of the story on a bus or at the office might want more details.
“What has happened?” they might ask themselves and they’d take out their phone to search “Israel Shooting Diplomats.”
The results they’ll be served will be the stories on the right hand side. They’ll assume that this is the story and the only story. Why wouldn’t they? Surely good ol’ google would alert them if there were more than one important thing going on with those keywords, right? Especially something that impacts the United Nations delegation to Israel?
Today on Twitter/X a slew of American politicians skipped right over mentioning (let alone condemning) the IDF firing ‘warning shots’ the international diplomatic team. They were handed a perfect excuse to ignore it: the alleged double shooting at at home.
One after the other – Mike Huckabee, Randy Fine, JD Vance – pounced on the Washington DC ‘shooting’ to grandstand for Israel and use it to attempt to prove that Jews need to be protected within the US. Jewish fearmongers took the messaging beyond sympathy directly into their new fear-generating talking point: “The Intifada has gone global.”
The Jewish narrative machine is always ready and well staffed. It is well known and not a secret that Israel has prepared for, funded and recruited ever growing numbers into the pro-Israel info war for many years. They spring into coordinated action on a dime and today was no exception. The non stop harping, the trolling, the kvetching, the cries of victimization, the demands for censorship, the mass reporting of their critics and mass repeating of their talking points is ruining social media. It’s almost unbearable.
The icing on this cake is the fact that Benjamin Netanyahu had the unmitigated gall to put out a video today berating and blaming the Washington DC ‘shooting’ on the very countries whose diplomats were threatened by IDF gunfire yesterday. Some snippets of his speech are below.
This is a disgrace but it’s clear what Netanyahu is doing and why. He is terrified of the unity of so much of the world against him. He is furious at the mention of sanctions against Israel. He is retaliating with all his deceptive power, engaging in bold faced manipulation against the countries who seek to stop the Israeli regime from torturing, starving and murdering the people of Gaza.
It would do well for diaspora Jews and Christian Zionists to remember that innocent people, not just Hamas, are caught up in this. The countries who are condemning Israel are in the right. The political leadership in the United States is wrong not to join them in their condemnation.
Looking at this dispassionately it appears that the diplomats of the 20 plus countries who were fired at by the IDF yesterday were being threatened with deadly force and that his threat was meant as a message to the leaders of their home states. It looks like the ‘shooting’ in DC was a staged event in order to give Netanyahu a leg to stand on as he made his speech today, and to obfuscate the very real shooting that took place yesterday in the West Bank. He retaliated against the statesmen who have criticized Israeli policies and actions by making the ludicrous claim that such criticism gives a green light for angry people to rise up and commit acts of violence against Jews all around the world.
Will this small group of narcissistic maniacs be allowed to continue much longer? It feels like the tide may be turning. We shall wait and see. In the meantime please share the story of the West Bank shooting. Share it under the posts of every politician and talking head who is trying to make you focus on DC. Keep posting until US politicians in particular are forced to acknowledge it. If they never do, then you know the US is captured by a group of people who will always put Israel and Jews first.
