Is There Reason for Optimism in 2022?

By Derrick Broze

As the COVID-19 panic approaches 2 years, with the return of lockdowns and mandatory vaccinations on the horizon, are there legitimate reasons for optimism in 2022?

There’s a certain nostalgia which overtakes humanity come the end of one year and the beginning of another. We find ourselves faced with another set of 12 months with which to accomplish goals, and, hopefully, grow as individuals. Resolutions for the new year are made with the intention of achieving more than you did in the previous year. Many people look upon the new year with a wistful optimism, for it represents an opportunity to improve their life and make fewer mistakes.

In the age of COVID-19, however, it often feels as if we are living in an infinite loop of bad news, fear-porn, and cancelled plans. This seemingly endless period of despair and confusion has led to a spike in drug addiction and alcoholism, suicides, and mental health issues in general. At the same time, the presence of yet another contrived variant in the form of Omicron is already leading to border closures, cancelled flights, mandatory vaccinations, and further rollout of vaccine passports (and digital IDs, generally). Make no mistake, 2022 is likely going to be a pivotal year in our struggle against the Technocratic Predator Class.

Understanding these realities may make it difficult for our readers to find reasons for optimism in the coming year. While we share the same concerns of our audience, we also want to take a moment to reflect on the growth we witnessed in 2021 and why 2022 could be the year the COVID-19 lies finally fall apart.

2021 Was a Record Year for Our Team

As regular readers know, the TLAV team consists of some of the sharpest minds in independent media. Taylor Hudak, myself, Robert Inlakesh, Whitney Webb, and, of course, TLAV founder Ryan Cristián. While Ryan is releasing his exhaustive research on COVID-19 (and so much more) via The Daily Wrap Up, myself and the rest of the crew have spent 2021 dropping investigations which plumb the depths of the tyranny facing humanity. This team of indy journalists has consistently been ahead of not only the corporate media, but much of the independent media from the left and the right. Time and time again, we are breaking stories weeks and months before the rest. While journalism is not a competition, I personally believe it’s worth taking a moment to acknowledge the hard work of this incredible team. I, for one, am a better journalist for having worked side-by-side with these folks.

More importantly, we are reaching more people than ever. Not only is TLAV setting personal records for audience reach in 2021, but collectively, between all of our TLAV work and our individual sites — The Conscious Resistance, Unlimited Hangout, & Activism Munich — we are changing the narrative and helping the waking minds of the world dive deep into a wide array of topics.

Rather than spending this essay highlighting all of the amazing work of the individual writers (I encourage you to visit the author’s pages and dive in), I would like to highlight a small portion of the incredible journalism conducted by Ryan. Specifically, I want to highlight a few of the interviews which he conducted in 2021 that deserve special recognition. These interviews also serve as a reminder of the many lies and obfuscations taking place around the COVID-19 narrative in 2021, as well as the bigger picture related to Technocracy, Transhumanism, and The Great Reset.

What’s Ahead in 2022?

Beyond the success of TLAV — and what that means in the context of the worldwide awakening — it is important to look at the world as a whole and ask whether we do, indeed, see reasons for optimism in the coming year.

As noted above, we now face the long-predicted reality that nations are beginning to mandate the COVID shots for whole populations. In Austria there are not only plans for mandatory vaccination programs, but attempts to criminalize protest of such programs. Corporate media outlets are working overtime to plant the seed in the minds of the public, their goal being to incrementally gain acceptance for mandatory injections and criminalizing those who oppose such measures. Even when the measures are not mandatory, we are witnessing calls to fine people who refuse shots (including the elderly), as well as firing people who refuse to buckle under employer mandates.

This, to me, represents the gravest threat to individual liberty in the coming year. In fact, it might be the gravest threat to individual liberty seen in generations. How the people of the world respond to these attempts at tyranny will directly shape the outcome of 2022. In the last 12 months (really, the last 24 months) we have witnessed the growth of massive protest movements across Europe, Australia, Canada, and, to a lesser degree, the United States. While the media continues to downplay the size and scope of these protests, more and more people are recognizing that the people opposed to COVID-19 mandates and lockdowns cannot simply be dismissed as “right wing extremists”.

Anyone with functioning eyes and ears — and an open mind — can clearly see by now that the opposition cuts across a diverse segment of the population. This opposition includes scientists, doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, pilots, firefighters, police officers, members of the military, teachers, musicians, and average people. While it’s clear that there are many individuals aligned with the Republican party (and similarly political parties internationally) it is a mistake to assume that any and all opponents of the COVID-19 measures are “right wing”. In fact, an increasingly vocal sector of “The Left” are speaking out about the mandates. This includes self-identified Progressive and Leftist independent journalists like Jimmy Dore, Max Blumenthal, NikoHouse, The ConvoCouch, and others.

I believe this trend will continue into 2022. While it may be easy to dismiss the journalists and activists who are “late to the game” when it comes to reporting truths about COVID-19, I believe this growing unity is absolutely necessary in the coming years. Frankly, we cannot and will not survive and thrive in the face of The Great Reset, The Great Narrative, Agenda 2030, and the Transhuman agenda if we continue to divide ourselves based on the flawed and outdated Left vs. Right paradigm. The independent media is just as guilty of falling into this trap as any of our counterparts in the mainstream. We must rise above this lack of imagination to create new ways of relating to each other, and create fresh methods for educating our brothers and sisters who have yet to join this battle.

So, to answer the initial question, are there legitimate reasons for optimism in 2022?

As far as I am concerned, I absolutely believe there are legitimate reasons to hold onto hope in 2022. No, I am not speaking of the false hopium that Trump is going to save the people, or that lawsuits are going to unravel the massive COVID-19 lies, or, even that the protests alone can stop the march towards tyranny.

No, I am speaking of the reality that more people than ever before are asking questions, conducting research, spreading awareness, protesting, removing themselves from the financial system, freeing their children from public education (indoctrination) centers, and learning to grow their own food. This is the real awakening.

These are the actions of a growing portion of the human population who have finally decided enough is enough. These are the actions of an awakened humanity who rejects “The New Normal” and refuses to “Own Nothing and Be Happy”. We will create our own normal. We will continue to own ourselves and dictate our own happiness and joy. We will never back down.

If we collectively push past our fear, our doubts, and our insecurities, 2022 has the potential to be the year the people reject The Great Reset agenda in favor of The People’s Reset. Ultimately, you, dear reader, are the one who will decide whether 2022 will be the year of mandatory vaccinations and the end of freedom to travel, or the year we overcome the plans of The Predator Class.
