Online Petition for Americans Who Oppose 5G Wireless Antennas Installed on Private Homes and Apartment Buildings

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has catered to the telecom and cable industries for decades (see 1, 2).  Lawsuits have been filed against it for NOT protecting the public from unsafe levels of cell phone and WiFi radiation as well as 5G on Earth (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and in space.  This includes Children’s Health Defense (CHD) who filed a lawsuit and emergency injunction against the agency’s amended “OTARD Rule” which allows private property owners to install 5G and WiFi antennas that broadcast into neighborhoods without obtaining a permit or notifying anybody.  Unfortunately, in March a court ruled in favor of the amended rule.

Earlier this week CHD filed a brief against this and Americans for Responsible Technology introduced an online petition as well.

SIGN THE PETITION: Oppose the Installation of 5G Wireless Antennas on Private Homes

The FCC recently changed its Over-The-Air Reception Device (“OTARD”) rule so that telecom corporations can install 5G antennas on private homes and apartment buildings with the permission of the property owner and/or tenant. This virtually eliminates all local government control over antenna installations across the country.

While individual homeowners or landlords may agree to accept the risks of exposure to high levels of wireless radiation in return for monetary compensation, is it fair to expose other tenants or neighbors to a scientifically proven health hazard without their knowledge or consent?

Please sign this petition if (1) you want our representatives in Washington D.C. to demand that the FCC reverse its recent decision on OTARD, and (2) you would reject any offers from telecom corporations to install one or more 5G wireless antennas on your property.

In February 2019, telecom executives gave congressional testimony that they had NO independent scientific evidence that 5G is safe.  In December 2019, then-presidential candidate Joe Biden said that 5G should be “studied thoroughly” before it was deployed.  So far, President Biden seems to support the deployment of even more unsafe wireless technology.  Not cool, Joe.

American 5G opposition is not going away due to growing concerns about reduced property value (see 1, 2, 3) and increased energy consumption (see 1, 2) as well as risks to cybersecurity, privacy (see 1, 2), public safety (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8), health (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9), and the environment.

Heck – even proponents have been candid about significant well-publicized difficulties and risks associated with 5G deployment and operation.

5G opposition is WORLDWIDE!  Cities AND entire countries have been taking action to ban, delay, halt, and limit installation AS WELL AS issue moratoriums.  Lawsuits have been filed (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) and petitions have been started (see 1, 2, 3, 4).  Since 2017, doctors and scientists have been asking for moratoriums on Earth and in space (see 1, 2).  The majority of scientists oppose deployment.  Since 2018 there have been reports of people and animals experiencing symptoms and illnesses after 5G was installed (see 1, 2, 3, 4).

Last month, scientists submitted a letter to President Biden asking him to protect the public from 5G and other unsafe technology.  Americans opposed to 5G may click here to sign a letter asking the Biden administration to stop deployment immediately.
