American opposition to 5G and other unwanted wireless installation continues to increase due to concerns about reduced property value (see 1, 2, 3), public safety (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), health (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7), cybersecurity and environmental risks. Some opponents have described 5G installation as a form of “environmental racism”.
High-speed internet is safer and more secure with a wired internet connection (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10). According to telecom experts who filed a lawsuit against the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Americans have already paid to have safer high-speed internet via fiber optics (see also 1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
All Americans could learn a thing or two from Californians. Their activism against cell towers and antennas being installed near homes, schools, and fire stations pre-dates both 5G and 4G.

Take Action on California Telecom Telecom 5G Streamline Bills – AB537 & SB556
The California State Legislature has introduced two dangerous bills, AB537and SB556, which, if passed, would strip away local control over the deployment of wireless telecommunications facilities, including 5G antennas, in public rights-of-way. Over half the states in the US have passed these industry friendly 5G streamlining bills.
The new CA bills are very similar to a bill that was ultimately vetoed in California in 2019 – SB 649. EHT compiled extensive resources from that 2019 fight that can be used to stop AB537 & SB556. For example, numerous doctors, scientists, and California Cities opposed SB 649. See a list of letters, videos and news stories on this page documenting the strong opposition.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is supposed to protect the public by regulating the telecom industry. It has catered to the industry instead for decades (see 1, 2). During the Trump administration lawsuits were filed against the agency for NOT protecting the public from unsafe levels of cell phone and WiFi radiation as well as 5G on Earth (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) and in space.
Opposition to 5G is worldwide and the majority of scientists oppose deployment. If you are opposed to 5G, sign and share this letter asking President Biden and Vice President Harris to stop deployment and contact your legislators ASAP.
