Winter weather can lead to icy roads in many American communities. Last year, Rolling Stone magazine published a behemoth of an article about toxic waste being used to de-ice roads in 13 states and opposition to it. This article is not for the squeamish.
Nevertheless, if you’re concerned about something like this being used to treat roads in your community, contact your elected officials ASAP.
