Tesla Models “Not Recommended” by Consumer Reports Due to Basic Reliability Issues

By B.N. Frank

Electric Vehicles (EVs) have not been without problems. Recently, GM recalled thousands of theirs due to battery fires. There have also been numerous reports about Teslas crashing and/or catching fire. Tesla owners have reported additional life-threatening situations as well (see 1, 2). Consumer Reports is now NOT recommending 2 of the company’s models.

From International Business Times:

Tesla’s Model Y crashed almost to the bottom in Consumer Reports’ reliability ratings, bagging a “not recommended” rating due to significant reliability issues.

The EV leader’s newest Model Y, which started production at the beginning of 2020, performed well overall and received good ratings from the magazine’s staff during their test drives earlier this year, according to a report by CNN. But the magazine’s industry-wide reliability report is based on surveys of actual owners, and that is where the car tanked.

The problems that were reported by Model Y’s buyers included misaligned body panels, mismatched paint, dust, and debris in new cars among others.

Of course it’s not just Teslas that aren’t reliable or safe. Experts continue to warn that all Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) are NOT reliable or safe (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5).

Nevertheless, AV proponents won’t stop bragging about these dangerous vehicles. In fact, Verizon has alerted their email subscribers that widespread 5G deployment is less about super-fast internet and more about putting countless AVs on roads and building privacy invasive, easily hackable, and radiation saturated “Smart Cities.”

American 5G opposition includes federal agencies and other credible experts who warn it threatens jobs, national security, public safety, and weather forecasting accuracy (see 1, 2, 3, 4). In 2019, telecom executives gave congressional testimony that they had NO scientific evidence that 5G is safe. The majority of scientists worldwide oppose 5G deployment. Doctors and scientists have asked for moratoriums on Earth and in space (see 1, 2). Cities worldwide AND entire countries have taken action to ban, delay, halt, and limit installation AS WELL AS issue moratoriums.

Since 2018 there have been reports of people and animals experiencing symptoms and illnesses after 5G was installed (see 1, 2, 3, 4). Of course exposure risks ARE NOT exclusive to 5G. Last year, the World Health Organization warned that high levels of Electromagnetic Fields (aka “Electrosmog”) could cause health issues in a significant percentage of the population. Electromagnetic Fields like the ones emitted by Electric Vehicles (see 1, 2, 3).
