Sprint’s Unauthorized Use of NYC Townhouse Wall for 5G Antennas = $2+ Million Lawsuit

5G opposition includes cities AND countries issuing moratoriums as well as taken other action to ban, delay, halt, and limit installation (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. 12, 13). Unfortunately, this hasn’t stopped deployment everywhere including in New York City where residents reported illness in 2018 after it was installed and turned on.

Regardless, the deployment of 5G and other “Smart City Tech” has actually been sped up in NYC during the pandemic. Last month, a New York couple filed a lawsuit against Sprint for attaching 5G antennas to their townhouse without their permission.

A New York City husband and wife filed a lawsuit against Sprint and T-Mobile on Monday, alleging that they installed 5G antennas without their permission and violated the terms of a contract they made with Sprint eight years earlier.

According to the complaint, Sprint allegedly had previously installed a cell site on a residential townhouse immediately adjacent to the one purchased in 2012 by Gerald Kerner and his wife through their corporation, Ninety Sixty LLC.

After the Kerners moved into their home they noticed that Sprint had installed their radio equipment on the neighboring rooftop … but the antennas were installed on their wall and were exposing them and other occupants to “illegal levels of RF electromagnetic radiation in violation of permissible federal limits”.

The Kerners then hired V-Comm LLC, an engineering firm that tested the RF levels around the two townhouses.

Research has already proven that cell towers and antennas installed near homes reduce property value (see 1, 2). Research has also proven that exposure to ALL sources of cell phone and wireless WiFi radiation are biologically harmful – not just 5G. It’s not just about increased cancer risk either. For many years now, firefighter unions have opposed the use of their stations for cell towers and antennas because of health risks. If firefighters are opposed to constant involuntary RF exposure from cell towers and antennas, shouldn’t we all be?
