5G “Layer Cake” Activated in New York City by T-Mobile in May

By B.N. Frank

American opposition to 5G continues to increase (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. 8). Lawsuits have been filed against the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regarding deployment as well as for NOT protecting Americans from unsafe levels of radiation (see 1, 2).

In 2018 some New York City residents reported that they and their pets started having symptoms and getting sick after 5G was turned on. Regardless, installation and activation has continued there. By May of this year, there was an estimated 10,000 4G and 5G small cell towers already in NYC (see 1, 2) AND telecoms have deliberately sped up deployment during the pandemic.

Research has determined that exposure to all sources of wireless can reduce immunity to all illnesses (see 1, 2, 3, 4) – not just cancer. Coincidentally, 2 months ago T-Mobile activated significantly more 5G in the Big Apple.

From Fierce Wireless:

T-Mobile today turned on its newly integrated 2.5 GHz spectrum in New York City, making it the first city to offer the operator’s full “layer cake” for 5G with a mix of low-, mid-, and high-band spectrum.

Since closing its Sprint merger on April 1, T-Mobile has been moving rapidly on network integration work and just two week ago lit up 2.5 GHz for 5G in Philadelphia.

Unlike Philadelphia, Sprint had already launched 5G using 2.5 GHz in NYC last summer, meaning the latest activation required a different type of transition, T-Mobile’s Karri Kuoppamaki previously told FierceWireless.

In addition to the 2.5 GHz, making up T-Mobile’s 5G layer cake in NYC is low-band 600 MHz and millimeter wave 28 GHz spectrum. AT&T, meanwhile, has its low-band and mmWave “5G+” service live in New York and competitor Verizon launched mmWave 5G using 28 GHz in the city in September 2019.

American opposition to 5G is not isolated to biological and environmental risks. Federal agencies have warned that it threatens national security, public safety, and weather forecasting accuracy.

Cities and entire countries have taken action to ban, delay, halt, and limit installation as well as issue moratoriums (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6). Most scientists oppose 5G deployment until independent studies prove that it’s safe.
