5G May Penetrate Deeper Into the Body Because of Its Very Fast Pulse Says Former WHO Scientist

By B.N. Frank

In 2019, telecom industry executives gave congressional testimony that they had NO scientific evidence that 5G technology is safe.

In 2017 180+ doctors and scientists were already convinced that it wasn’t and requested a moratorium on deployment.  Additionally, since 2018 there have been reports of people and animals becoming sick after 5G was turned on (see 1. 2, 3, 4).

5G is millimeter wave technology.  It travels at a faster speed than other wireless radiation frequencies.  Because of its faster pulse, exposure may be more biologically damaging.

From Environmental Health Trust:

According to Belyaev 2019, “the health effects of chronic MMW exposures may be more significant than for any other frequency range.” Belyaev contends that “While MMW are almost completely absorbed within 1-2 mm in biologically equivalent tissues, it may penetrate much deeper in live human body.” “When a very fast pulse of radiation enters the human body, it generates a burst of energy that can travel much deeper than predicted by conventional models (Oughstun 2017). This induced radiation pulse is known as a Brillouin precursor. Brillouin precursors can be formed by ultrawideband radiation and by high-speed data signals as used in 5G.”

Brillouin precursors can be formed by high-speed data signal as Microwave News 2002 pointed out  “Introducing Brillouin Precursors: Microwave Radiation Runs Deep.” When a very fast pulse of radiation enters the human body, it generates a burst of energy that can travel much deeper than predicted by conventional models. This induced radiation pulse, known as a Brillouin precursor. Brillouin precursors can also be formed by ultrawideband radiation  and, in the near future, by high-speed data signals.” The 2002 Microwave News article discusses the controversy over the Pave Paws radar system which used phased array radiation. In 5G communication systems, the phased-array antenna is one of the lead front-end components.

Belyaev 2019 also points to the published research on modulation and posits that, “Contrary to GSM phones, mobile phones of the 3rd generation irradiate UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) wide-band signal. UMTS MWs may result in higher biological effects because of eventual “effective” frequency windows.” “MMW inhibited repair of DNA damage induced by ionizing radiation at specific frequencies and polarizations (Belyaev, Shcheglov et al. 2000).”

Abstract

“ Various responses to non-thermal microwaves (MW) from mobile communication including adverse health effects related to electrohypersensitivity, cancer risks, neurological effects, and reproductive impacts have been reported while some studies reported no such effects. This presentation provides an overview of the complex dependence of the MW effects on various physical and biological variables, which account for, at least partially, an apparent inconsistence in the published data. Among other variables, dependencies on carrier frequency, polarization, modulation, intermittence, electromagnetic stray fields, genotype, physiological traits, and cell density during exposure were reported. Nowadays, biological and health effects of 5G communication, which will use microwaves of extremely high frequencies (millimeter waves MMW, wavelength 1- 10 mm), are of significant public concern. It follows from available studies that MMW, under specific conditions of exposure at very low intensities below the ICNIRP guidelines, can affect biological systems and human health. Both positive and negative effects were observed in dependence on exposure parameters. In particular, MMW inhibited repair of DNA damage induced by ionizing radiation at specific frequencies and polarizations. To what extend the 5G technology and the Internet of Things will affect the biota and human health is definitely not known. However, based on possible fundamental role of MMW in regulation of homeostasis and almost complete absence of MMW in atmosphere due to effective absorption, which suggests the lack of adaptation to this type of radiation, the health effects of chronic MMW exposures may be more significant than for any other frequency range.”

Excerpts from the section on 5G versus GSM/UMTS

“We tested some real signals from GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication, 2G) mobile phones and UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) mobile phones of the 3rd generation as used in Europe (Belyaev, Markova et al. 2009; Markova, Malmgren et al. 2010). Contrary to GSM phones, mobile phones of the 3rd generation irradiate UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) wide-band signal. UMTS MWs may result in higher biological effects because of eventual “effective” frequency windows.”

“While MMW are almost completely absorbed within 1-2 mm in biologically equivalent tissues, it may penetrate much deeper in a live human body.”

“When a very fast pulse of radiation enters the human body, it generates a burst of energy that can travel much deeper than predicted by conventional models (Oughstun 2017). This induced radiation pulse is known as a Brillouin precursor. Brillouin precursors can be formed by ultrawideband radiation and by high-speed data signals as used in 5G.”

Of course, exposure to all sources of Electromagnetic Radiation (aka “Electrosmog”) is biologically and environmentally harmful.  This includes Bluetooth, cell phone and WiFi radiation.  Health experts have been warning about exposure risks for many years and continue to do so (see 1, 2).  This includes the American Academy of Pediatrics and World Health Organization.  Even Dr. Oz has warned about exposure!

5G technology threatens biological health, cybersecurity (see 1, 2, 3), environmental health (see 1, 2, 3, 4), privacy (see 1, 2), safety, and more.  Opposition continues to increase worldwide (see 1, 2, 3, 4)  Many cities and countries have already taken action against deployment by banning it, filing lawsuits, issuing moratoriums, passing ordinances and resolutions (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. 7. 8).
