U.S. Senators Ask NIH to Study Impacts of Tech on Youth Even Though Research Already Raises Red Flags

By B.N. Frank

For many years already Silicon Valley parents including Bill Gates and the late Steve Jobs have limited their own kids’ use of tech and sent them to no-tech and low-tech schools.  Researchers have already determined that the impact of excessive tech use isn’t good for kids and for a variety of reasons (see 1, 2).  This has also been widely reported by a variety of media sources.  Regardless, three American senators are asking NIH to study this again.

Thanks to 5G Crisis for reporting about this.

U.S. Senators Ed Markey, Roy Blunt, and Ben Sasse recently sent a letter to the Director of the National Institutes of Health calling for scientists to study the affects of “widespread and increasing technology use.” Read the letter here.

Although these senators only seem interested in the behavioral, emotional, psychological, and social impacts of tech use by kids – research has determined that exposure to Blue Light and Electromagnetic Radiation (including Bluetooth, cell phone radiation, WiFi) isn’t good for them or really anyone else either.  American Academy of Pediatrics and other health experts have warned about this as well.  In fact, no “safe” level of wireless radiation has been scientifically determined for children or pregnant women.

Exposure to cell phone radiation and WiFi do more than increase cancer risk.  It can disrupt the blood-brain barrier which can cause it to leak.  Many parents still don’t seem to be aware of this, otherwise they also would probably limit their own kids’ use and exposure to cell phones and other tech (including wearables).  More research recently has determined that cell phone radiation can cause memory damage in teens.

Unfortunately, it’s not just brains that seem to be affected.  Exposure can cause many undesirable symptoms and illnesses including “Microwave Sickness” and Electromagnetic Sensitivity (ES).  In related news – there’s a class action lawsuit against 11 smartphone models for exceeding federal RF safety levels up to 500% (see 1, 2).
