Verizon Announces 20 More U.S. Cities to Get 5G Despite Telecom Admitting No Studies Say It’s Safe, Widespread Opposition, 5G Failure, and Future Lawsuits

Telecom Industry executives cannot offer ANY scientific evidence that 5G is harmless and there is research that has already proven 5G IS harmful.

Last year the first 5G court case was won in England after residents became sick and women delivered stillborn babies. A growing number of communities in the U.S. and around the world are trying to keep 5G out of their communities.  (See also 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10).

Verizon acknowledged in 2014 that future lawsuits and settlements were probable due to their cell phones and towers.  But whatever.  On Thursday, they released the names of 20 additional U.S. cities that will get 5G Ultra Wideband service in 2019: Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Des Moines, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Little Rock, Memphis, Phoenix, Providence, San Diego, Salt Lake City and Washington DC.  That’s right – other U.S. cities already have 5G from Verizon and other telecom companies (See 1, 2New Yorkers were complaining about it last summer because they were becoming sick from it and their pets were too.

On top of that – some Verizon 5G projects are already failing and more are predicted to fail.  Of course, since American taxpayers seem to have paid for 5G anyway, why should Verizon care? 

From CBS Sacramento, “Research Firm Believes Verizon 5G Home In Sacramento May Not Succeed”:

Sacramento is one of four US cities where Verizon began rolling outfixed wireless broadband last October and an analysis conducted specifically in Sacramento by MoffettNathanson Research suggests that nearly six months later, fewer than one tenth of one percent of people living in single family homes here have signed up for the service. The study concedes that while multi-family dwellings could boost the percentage, it was not possible to determine the number of subscribers in large apartment and condominium complexes.

The research revealed that the 273 small 5G cell sites installed by Verizon under an agreement with the city of Sacramento cover less than six percent of residential addresses in the seven zip codes analyzed — and of those eligible addresses, fewer than half have signed on with Verizon.

A previous analysis of Verizon 5G Home in Sacramento by EJL Wireless Research focused on the technical challenges facing the service which uses millimeter wave technology with a very short range. The author of that report estimated Verizon would need as many as 4,000 5G sites to adequately cover Sacramento.

While addressing the technical issues involving Verizon 5G Home, the MoffettNathanson analysis focuses more on the potential profitability of the service. The report concludes that Verizon’s assumption that wireless broadband is cheaper to deploy than fiber is flawed, and offers a model showing the cost of running fiber to subscribers’ homes system-wide could actually be 64 percent cheaper than installing small cell wireless.

According to MoffettNathanson, only six percent of homes in Sacramento had access to Verizon 5G, with fewer than three percent actually subscribed. Of greater concern than the low subscriber numbers, however, is how few customers each small cell can actually support. On average, each small cell can only reach 27 local addresses.

But who cares, right?  Verizon is promoting a new contest to help alleviate future costs for installing more 5G.  They simply won’t stop campaigning.  It may be even grosser than the sweaty side effects from 5G exposure.

About 2 weeks ago, there was a press conference from the White House about forced 5G small cell installation and the U.S. needing to win the controversial “Race for 5G.There was little reference to 5G oppositionThere was no reference to the testimony provided by the Telecom Industry that they could provide no scientific studies that proved 5G wireless technology was biologically or environmentally safe. 

President Trump emphasized that 5G networks must be secured which according to most security experts seems completely unrealistic.  He mentioned that The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has been taking bold action – maybe bolder than they’ve ever taken – to ensure 5G would be installed all across the country, above ground and below as well as in space.

Bold indeed – The FCC is supposed to regulate the Telecom Industry and protect the public even though it seems like they have been doing everything but for 20+ years.  (See 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

In regard to 5G:

  1. The FCC is being investigated for collusion with the Telecom Industry.
  2. Lawsuits have also been filed against the FCC about forced 5G installation (See 1, 2).
  3. There was a bill introduced in January that would overturn forced federal 5G installation in local communities.

200+ doctors and scientists have been demanding a moratorium on 5G installation since 2017.

Research has also already determined that exposure to 1G through 4G wireless radiation IS NOT SAFE EITHER.  Federal “safety” standards are 20+ years old and they DO NOT apply to the way we use or are exposed to wireless technology today.
