Calm.com Apps Don’t Protect Users from Exposure to Radiation and EMF Which Can Cause Anxiety, Insomnia, Increased Blood Pressure and Cancer Risk, etc.

By B.N. Frank

There’s a saying – “The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.”

If you’ve never heard of Calm.com:

Calm is the #1 app for meditation and mindfulness. Enjoy 100+ guided meditations to help you manage anxiety, lower stress and sleep better. Calm is the perfect mindfulness app for beginners, but also includes hundreds of programs for intermediate and advanced users.

There is no doubt that many of us could benefit from tools to “manage anxiety, lower stress and sleep better.”  Calm.com may offer good recordings.  Unfortunately, they don’t provide directions for how to use them safely.  Perhaps they are completely oblivious to the facts that:

  1. The Telecom Industry has never said that cell phones are safe.
  2. Cell phone manufacturers have been warning shareholders that they may eventually be held liable for harm caused by their products and infrastructure.
  3. Insurance companies won’t do business anymore with telecom companies.

When it comes to all digital, electronic and wireless devices –distance is your friend and that’s not what’s advertised in the Calm.com promo video.  One user is sleeping with her phone which was rated CBSNews.com #1 Dumb Thing to Boost Possible Cancer Risk.  If your pets sleep with you, this isn’t healthy for them either.

One user is featured wearing wireless ear buds.  Wearing anything wireless in your ear can cause HUGE problems.  Besides emitting radiation, wireless ear buds have been known to catch fire and/or explode.  Then again –so have smartphones.

Additionally, research has proven that all sources cell phone and wireless WiFi radiation can disrupt the blood-brain barrier, cause it to leak, and kill brain cells.  This can cause a variety of undesirable conditions, illness, and symptoms – including anxiety, high blood pressure, insomnia, memory loss, strokes and more.  It may even cause violent behavior.

Does any of that sound relaxing or beneficial?

Last, but definitely not least, The Calm.com promo video shows a user looking at her smartphone and selecting an app that provides information about Screen Addiction.

Unfortunately, Calm.com isn’t the only company that offers similar products and services via apps.  Namaste?
