Now That Facebook, YouTube And Apple Have Come For Alex Jones, They Will Start Coming After The Rest Of Us

By Michael Snyder

August 6th was one of darkest days in the history of the Internet.  When I learned that Facebook, YouTube, Apple, Spotify, Pinterest and others had colluded to take down content from Alex Jones all on the same day, I knew exactly what was happening.  They timed their attack so that it would hit the press at the beginning of the weekly news cycle on Monday so that their purge would have maximum societal impact.  And the fact that there was such overt collusion was obviously meant to send a message.  We were supposed to understand that if they can do this to Alex Jones, they can do it to any of us, and so we better shut up and fall in line.  I can’t even begin to tell you how sick I feel right now.  The big tech giants have made it abundantly clear how they feel about all of us, and there is no future for alternative points of view on any of their platforms.

The current purge of conservative voices has been going on for months, but this is the biggest bombshell by far.  The following excerpt from a Los Angeles Times article is a typical example of how the mainstream media covered this story…

Major technology companies including Apple, Facebook and YouTube deleted years of content from conservative conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and his Infowars platforms over allegations of hate speech, a sudden clampdown that is fueling the growing debate over how big technology companies choose to censor.

The move was unusual for its sweep and speed, suggesting a new assertiveness by technology companies that in the past have worked to avoid alienating conservatives, who often assert that left-leaning Silicon Valley is biased against them. The removals appeared to be prompted by more users flagging Infowars content for policy violations.

In addition to the “big three”, Spotify and Pinterest pulled down content from Infowars as well, and there is no way that this could have been done simultaneously unless it was planned well in advance.  Lawyers have to be consulted, CEOs have to give their approval, etc.  This was a cold-blooded move that was carefully calculated down to the finest details.

So is there anything that conservatives can do?

Well, Mike Adams has suggested that these tech companies could be prosecuted for conspiracy…

This coordinated, illegal censorship is clear proof of an organized criminal racket being conducted by the tech giants. The RICO Act allows for federal prosecution of such criminal conspiracy.

The internet Dark Ages has now descended upon us, where radical left-wing tech giants run by deranged, mentally ill communists will decide whether your content qualifies as “hate speech.” What is hate speech? It’s anything uttered by a conservative.

I think that he is theoretically correct, but I doubt that it will ever actually happen.

Right now, the global elite do not have control of the White House, but they have discovered a powerful new weapon in the tech companies.  They are trying to use this new weapon to smash Alex Jones and other top conservative voices, and they are doing it with a tyrannical flair that is absolutely frightening.  I think that it was quite appropriate that the official WikiLeaks Twitter account made a parallel between this purge and an old Star Wars movie…

The empire strikes back: Apple, Spotify, Facebook and Google/Youtube all purge Infowars/Alex Jones. Yes, Infowars has frequent nonsense, but also a state power critique. Which publisher in the world with millions of subscribers is next to be wiped out for cultural transgression?

And it is quite noteworthy that this comes almost exactly three months before the mid-term elections.

Do you think that is just a coincidence?

After all of the uproar about “election interference”, now the big tech companies are overtly doing it very publicly and in a way that nobody can misunderstand.

The biggest reason why they are lashing out at Alex Jones, Mike Adams and a whole host of other top conservative voices is because Donald Trump never would have gotten elected without them.  I guess they figure that if they can start silencing some of those voices that they can turn future elections in their favor.

If it was just a few conservative voices that were being censored, that would be one thing.  But the truth is that hundreds and hundreds of conservatives have had Facebook pages taken down, YouTube accounts terminated and Twitter accounts shadowbanned.  I won’t repeat all of the information that I have previously published on this topic in this article.  Instead, if you would like to learn more I would recommend checking out some of my previous articles…

In the end, this is not about Alex Jones.

This is about a once free society that is becoming more Orwellian with each passing day.

Now that they have come for Alex Jones, they aren’t going to stop.

It might not be tomorrow, but eventually they are going to come for you.

I would like to end this article with a few words from Dr. Michael Brown’s excellent article about all of this censorship…

Let me repeat what I said in my earlier article about Infowars: Whether you’re an Infowars fan or you find their work distasteful, their potential removal from YouTube should concern you.

Otherwise, soon enough, we’ll have our own version of Martin Niemöller’s famous poem, which will now sound something like this:

First they came for Infowars, and I did not speak out—because I found them offensive.

Then they came for Geller and Spencer, and I did not speak out—because I found them obnoxious.

Then they came for Prager U, and I did not speak out—because I found them opinionated.

Then they came for a host of others, and I did not speak out—because I have my own life to live.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

  1. Does anyone know of an established and viable alternative to Facebook? (I post alt health articles on FB, none of this private nonsense).

How about an alternative to U-Tube?

Has anyone got any experience with ProtonMail and Proton VPN?

    Tips would be appreciated.

    • The market is now wide open since they have now created a media martyr in Alex Jones. There may not be any now, but there will be very shortly.

    • I wouldn’t consider the options you mention to be alternatives, just more of the same digitized interpassivity.

A genuine alternative would be to go after the globalist cabal orchestrating this circus (assisted by Mr Jones and all of the so-called “alternative” media). In the real world, that is.

      • What do you mean by “go after”?

The best way to vanquish the censoring media (or any of our entrenched fascist systems) is to move elsewhere.

        • Yeah, “move elsewhere,” great way to stand your ground.

Oh, come on, armchair soldier. What are you doing about Facebook, Google, Twitter, Disq, etc?

            Storming their offices yet?

No. Like all conservative-leaning people he drinks beer, eats a pound of wheat and slaps his mouth a lot but does nothing. The very reason why we have a Marxist dystopia.

          • Richard_Ran | August 10, 2018 at 2:33 am |

No beer (alas, Flemish beers are among the best in the world), and most certainly no wheat. We’re taking clues from Joel Salatin here and have gone “primal/paleo” long before the trend started. A Marxist dystopia would be awful for sure, but I reckon you’re talking about the US of A?
From across the Atlantic, my bet is on “corporatist” rather than “Marxist,” but in the end it’s not that big a difference, since you’re screwed by statists either way. Same thing over here, so the question I posed is what to do in the “analog” world (instead of wondering about where to move digitally).

See my comment below of what I’m doing in the analog world…

I’m with ya but let him explain himself…

          • Richard_Ran | August 10, 2018 at 2:23 am |

No, you’re still missing the point. Won’t be storming Facebook offices; we are in the process of exposing/dismantling Soros-linked orgs here in Europe. So we’re going after the masters, instead of shifting social media. Get the point already?

          • Veri Tas 102 | August 11, 2018 at 12:35 am |

So, again: What does “going after” mean?
Exposing is clear enough but how will you be dismantling the censors?

So far, I’ve experienced first hand that depriving those that would oppress, control us of the oxygen they need to thrive (custom, viewership, attention, etc) works best.

To change the world, first change yourself (your mindset), then build your own, alternative “world” as you would like to experience it.

            Examples:

            Alt media, not MSM
Non-censored social media platforms, not FB etc
            Movie streaming, not TV
Whole foods / vegan, not GMOs, artificially ‘enhanced’ or tortured animal factory foods
Alternative, herbal & nutritional, homeopathic & energetic therapies for chronic disease, not drugs and vaccines
Activist work, not bland, mindless club activities
            Add your own ideas …
            etc

BTW, since you are into going primal, I’m afraid that’s neither possible in today’s altered and polluted world, nor is the so-called “paleo” trend in any shape or form how early man lived, except for the bits about nixing dairy and processed foods.

          • Richard_Ran | August 11, 2018 at 4:42 am |

Going after the masters doesn’t equal the censors. To be clear, we’re not interested in social media, hence my initial response to you. To go after the masters means to dismantle their organizations, which includes everything from effectuating law which bans certain NGO’s completely (think of Hungary), to pressing orgs into defunding/cutting of subsidies and also good old sabotage.

Don’t worry about our mindset, changed that long time ago and no, building one’s own world is to hand the world to the globalist cabal. Our point is exactly to not withdraw from the world, either into digital enclaves or unsustainable anarcho-“alternatives” that pose no real threat to the powers that shouldn’t be.

This well-meaning piece of advice is exactly the problem i.m.o.:
“build your own, alternative “world” as you would like to experience it.”

Implement this on a massive scale and all will be left fragmented in their own little lifestyled worlds and utterly vulnerable to the ongoing globalist takeover. So it’s not even that they’ll remain unopposed by your advice, they’re inadvertently assisted.

So on a personal level, your recommendations are valuable (especially the no drugs/vaccines), but not nearly enough to even begin to resist the planned “Order out of Chaos”. Alternative media (including this site) are probably controlled as well and as I explained, switching media may make you feel better and give you a nice alternative experience, but it won’t harm the NWO globalists in any substantial way.

As to pollution, that’s a factor which concerns all of the food chain, so it’s paramount to have the right info. We are in direct contact with local organic farmers (raw milk, grass fed pastured cattle [and as you might know, Holland has be best grass], whole foods, seasonal veggies and all). We know everything we need to know, from the quality of the soil to the end products, and to boot we have our own chickens held in common with our neighbours as a fun community project. We grow our own medicine (wink-wink), herbs etc and we’ve even built a dome greenhouse in our tiny village.

But again, all of this is nice but not enough. This is not about alternative “lifestyles,” and we’re under no illusion that our chickens will bother the globalists. At some point one must fight for a common good that goes beyond one’s own experience and take the fight to the masters and strife to kick them out or at least hinder their operations in any way possible. Reckon I’ve explained myself well enough by now 😉 We’ve many things in common, and on some things (the claim that changing media constitutes meaningful anti-globalist activism) we simply have to agree to disagree. Godspeed and cheers from DutchieLand!

  2. I would start building a contact list on your smartphone ASAP instead of depending on those social media web sites for communication. It’s much harder to control a crowd that is fragmented as opposed to everyone on just one or a few sites..

  3. This will not stand. Either Facebook and others will respect the first amendment or they will be shut down. They do not get to dictate which opinions are valid.

    • They will dictate since they are being dicated tooo by those in power that you cant say no to. They are now an active tool of the propaganda line. We have been censored for a long time already.

    • “They do not get to dictate which opinions are valid.”

Nor do you get that right. I don’t either although frankly I’d rather read about facts than opinion.
Facts usually require empirical evidence rather than everyone speculating.

      • What you would prefer to read is the point. The 1st amendment is not needed to protect speech we all agree with. The 1st Amendment is intended to protect speech that yo may disagree with or even infuriates you. If you do not believe in defending speech that you do not like you do not believe in free speech. Having said that, Jones is still able to say and think what he wants however, these outlets are private companies and as such can dictate the rules. The concern I have is that the rules for content are being dictated by the Communist Left to insure you only hear what they want and sell the agenda. It is BS.

  4. All social media platforms have made us addicted and dependent on services that are geared for the laziness in all of us. Facebook removes any posting which list animals for sell. You may say that makes sense but I’m not referring to puppy mills or exotic and illegal animals,I mean livestock. When I was a kid you could sell livestock at stockyard auctions.Well those are far and few between these days.So I ask this question, when the free economy has devolved to the point of total dependency, and everything required for basic survival is routed through an agency or dept that knows whats best for you, better than you would for yourself. When the plug is pulled on that how would you feel? They nibble away at the parts that are irrelevant at the time, but give the nibblers enough time, they will bite where it hurts.Just say NO.

  5. Looks like all of the “alternative” outfits have gotten the same memo: though Alex Jones is somewhat of an ugly bird, he is the proverbial canary in the coal mine and now we’re all targets.

If all of this weren’t staged with each and every party to this discussion being controlled one way or the other by the globalist cabal orchestrating this circus, it really would have been a grave warning to society.

But the actual situation is perhaps even more sickening, not least because of the dissimulating fear mongering author.

“This was a cold-blooded move that was carefully calculated down to the finest details.”

Indeed it was. The details including Mr Jones as an accomplice instead of a target. The even finer details involving all of the carefully set up “alternative” outfits framing this as an attack on free speech, while it’s actually the roll-out of a thoroughly controlled narrative. No victims among all of the play acting NWO assets in this story, only the ones buying it.

  6. Ole controlled op will be just fine. Stop being hysterical over somebody that only tells half truths, and is a walking talking commercial….

  7. Yes get off of all social media for sure but, whether or not you like Jones is far from the point.

  8. Edgardo L. Perez-De Leon | August 8, 2018 at 12:16 pm |

The internet use public resources and is against the freedom of press and speech to control what is being said on it, be through FB or otherwise. Facebook wouldhave to limit access to paid subscribers to limit speech like the fake news.

  9. Nice as a temporary measure, but then what? You’re right to call out “armchair” soldiers, but rest assured that we’re really focussed on what’s to be done in the real world, so it’s not an either/or proposition and I hope you guys in the US won’t leave it at just moving to another digital platform. So enough said. Cheers from Woodenshoesland.
