Verizon Chairman and CEO, Lowell McAdam, “5G is Very Disruptive Technology.” Let Me Count The Very Disruptive Ways.

By B.N. Frank

On June 25, 2018, Verizon Chairman and CEO, Lowell McAdam stated in a CNBC interview that

  1. 5G will have a positive impact.
  2. 5G is very disruptive technology.

Here’s how this is turning out:

  1. 5G will have a positive impact on The Telecom Industry aka “Big Wireless.”
  2. For everyone else, it will be very disruptive technology because it already has been.

For the last few years, every security expert on the planet has been warning that “connecting everything together” through 5G and The Internet of Things (IoT) could even have long-term catastrophic world-wide consequences.  IoT already has an almost 75% failure rate.  Doesn’t that sound disruptive enough to avoid?

5G means installing small cell towers everywhere – including in front of homes, in public rights of ways, etc.  That’s disruptive.  Many people are ticked off about this for many reasons – including reduction of their property value.

McAdam also said 5G is good for the environment.  OMG No!  In September 2017, 180 scientists and doctors demanded a moratorium on the installation of 5G small cell tower infrastructure due to biological and environmental risks.

Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and other environmental groups are fighting 5G because of its potential for harm.  Installing 5G on a massive scale violates “The Precautionary Principle” in Environmental Science.  That’s disruptive.

Decades of research has already proven that exposure to all sources of cell phone and wireless WiFi radiation – including 5G millimeter waves – is harmful.   Health issues are disruptive.  For the last couple of weeks, Dr. Naomi Wolf has been posting on social media about how New Yorkers and their pets are experiencing unpleasant symptoms from exposure to 5G.

McAdam talks about Automated Vehicles.  These vehicles are already causing accidents including one very high-profile fatal one.  Auto accidents are disruptive.  Rest in peace, Elaine Herzberg.

McAdam talks about Artificial Intelligence (AI).  AI takes away jobs.  It already has.  Some tech moguls are planning for “Doomsday” because they are afraid of the proverbial poop hitting the fan when more Americans lose their jobs.

McAdam promises that 5G will lower health costs.  How is that possible when all exposure to wireless WiFi radiation – including 5G  – has already been proven to be harmful?  Being sick – having loved ones and pets who are sick – is nothing but disruptive and expensive.

McAdam gushes about 5G and Virtual Reality (VR).  Research has already proven that VR is harmful and should be used sparingly.  Some research has determined it can cause sociopathic behavior.  Now that’s disruptive!

McAdam also claims that 5G will bring “cost efficiencies.”  Cybersecurity breaches aren’t easy or cheap to fix.  Neither are biological and environmental health issues.

Last but not least – exposure to all sources of wireless WiFi radiation can disrupt the blood brain barrier which can cause it to leak

Maybe this is why so many community leaders, elected officials, and current and former government employees still want to install 4G and 5G small cell towers everywhere.

Perhaps this is why they are throwing caution to the wind.

Or maybe they’re just in it for the money.

Regardless 5G is  very disruptive technology.  Thanks a lot, Big Wireless and everyone else who is endorsing and forcing this nightmare on the world.

Samsung will be selling a 5G Home Router later this year.  This means anyone who wants 5G can install it in their home and business.  Try to remember to read the “fine print” in the manual.

Communities who don’t want 5G shouldn’t be forced to take it

McAdam also said about 5G, “We are closer than people think.”  Are you willing to take more disruption from “Big Wireless”?
