New Research Confirms Memory Loss in Teens from Cell Phone Radiation. 2017 NIH Research Said 5 Minutes on Cell Phones Causes Significant Memory Loss.

By B.N. Frank

The Telecom Industry has never said cell phones are safe.  Manufacturers are warning shareholders (not customers) that they may eventually be held liable for the harm their products have caused.

A Swiss Study has now determined that cell phone radiation may cause memory loss in teens:

Now a new Swiss study finds that RF-EMF may harm memory performance in the specific brain regions exposed while a person is talking on a cell phone.

[…]

The study follows up a 2015 report published in the scientific journal Environment International,  but now with twice the sample size as well as more current information on the absorption of RF-EMF in adolescent brains during different types of wireless communication device use. These studies are the first epidemiological reports to estimate cumulative RF-EMF brain dose in adolescents.

The findings show that cumulative RF-EMF brain exposure from cell phone use over one year may have a negative effect on the development of figural memory performance in adolescents. This confirms the previous results published in 2015.

In 2017 National Institutes of Health (NIH) also published research that proved mobile phone use for 5 minutes can cause significant memory impairment in humans.

This seems to be a follow-up to research NIH published in 2011 confirming that 50 minutes of phone use affected the brain.

In 2011, Dr. Keith Black of Cedar Sinai Los Angeles also addressed the possibility of memory impairment from exposure.

So in addition to leading to a development of cancer and tumors, there could be a whole host of other effects like cognitive memory function, since the memory temporal lobes are where we hold our cell phones.

Children’s skulls and scalps are thinner. So the radiation can penetrate deeper…so the impact of radiation can be much larger.

Like this:

2012 Research confirmed that exposure to all sources of WiFi radiation can disrupt the blood-brain barrier which can cause it to leak.  This short 2013 video explains how it also kills brain cells.

Cell phone use while driving = increased radiation exposure because devices have to work harder to stay connected to towers.

Over the years, some countries have been more proactive than others about encouraging adults to limit cell phone use in kids. In France, scientists have demanded the immediate recall of millions of cell phones after government data revealed that 9 out of 10 phones tested exceed regulatory limits.

U.S. federal testing and “safety” guidelines for cell phones and other wireless products are 20+ years old.  They don’t protect the public.

All wireless devices and infrastructure emit WiFi radiation which isn’t harmless. Decades of research has already determined that exposure isn’t only about memory loss and boosting possible cancer risk.

In regard to brain health alone, it may also cause

  1. Addictive behavior
  2. Anxiety
  3. Cognitive impairment
  4. Depression
  5. Learning disabilities
  6. Reduced impulse control,
  7. Violence
  8. and more.

Exposure can also worsen pre-existing conditions (brain or otherwise) even if it didn’t cause them.

WiFi is a source of Electrical Pollution (aka Electrosmog).  Research has confirmed that exposure to cell phone and wireless WiFi radiation along with Electromagnetic Fields has a cumulative toxic effect when combined with other toxins.

Manufacturers are required to warn customers about exposure in manuals for personal devices such as Alexa, baby monitors, cell phones, cordless phones, Fitbits, Virtual Reality (VR), WiFi routers, and other “smart” products.  Guidelines and warnings may be included but they are still outdated.  They don’t protect us from how this technology is being used today.

Over the years, research and warnings have been made public by broadcast news stations, documentary filmmakers, elected officials, celebrities, comedians as well as by

However, unsafe tech use and exposure is regularly portrayed in TV, film, and marketing campaigns – even for prescription medications – because unsafe tech use and exposure has become normalized.

Radiation-emitting devices have also been designed and marketed to school systems as educational tools even though tech inventors send their kids to private low-tech schools and limit their use of it at home.

Utility companies are NOT required to provide safety guidelines regarding radiation exposure when they install digital and wireless utility “Smart” Meters.  Spending any time within close proximity of one or more smart meters seems like a really bad idea.

It’s best to reduce exposure from digital, electronic, and wireless devices whenever possible.  Unfortunately, small cell towers, “The Race to 5G” and “Smart Cities” will involuntarily expose all of us to more sources of radiation and Electrosmog from head to toe.

Dr. Naomi Wolf has been posting on social media about how this is already affecting New Yorkers and their pets.

Many of our elected officials and government employees don’t seem interested in protecting the public in regard to exposure to digital, electronic, and wireless devices and infrastructure.

Firefighters haven’t wanted cell towers and antennas installed at their stations since 2004 because of health concerns.

  1. Radiation may be an issue, but just using the phone allows you to stop using your brain.
