An Armed Cop Was on Campus When The Florida Shooting Began—Never Encountered Suspect

By Matt Agorist

Parkland, FL — Another tragic mass shooting has taken place on American soil in which a deranged coward opened fire on innocent adults and children alike, taking many of their lives in the process. As the details unfold about the history of the shooter and the foreknowledge of his threats to both law enforcement and the school, it appears that the American police state is an utter failure at preventing the tragedies it was ostensibly built to stop.

Everything that was supposed to prevent this tragedy from happening was in place and unfolded as it was designed to do. Nikolas Cruz was reported to the FBI by citizens for publicly declaring that he wanted to become a “Professional School Shooter.” However, the FBI apparently chose not to act on that information.

What’s more, according to Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel, to ‘protect’ the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, an armed officer was on campus as the shooting began. However, according to Israel, the officer never encountered the suspect. Exactly how a police officer, who was already on the scene and whose job was to protect the students, was unable to even encounter the shooter remains a mystery.

All the police state measures of see something say something happened ‘correctly’, armed police on school campuses happened ‘correctly’, and even the shooter himself publicly claimed that he was going to carry out this atrocity months before doing it—yet it still happened.

During a press conference on Thursday, Sheriff Israel, at least three times, claimed police need “more power” to prevent such tragedies. He urged neighbors to spy on each other and report each other to the police if they see anything out of the ordinary.

One of the reason police need more power, according to Israel, is to go after those who make such ominous posts on social media. But they already have this power.

As TFTP has reported on numerous occasions, people have been arrested and thrown in jail for saying things far less threatening than shooting up a school.

In Flint, Michigan, Activist Christopher G. Wahmhoff, 37, was charged in 2016—not for saying he was going to shoot up a school or kill cops—but for a Facebook post referencing a protest against the Flint water crisis.

Before that, 26-year-old Kristin Holmes was arrested and charged with a crime for posting of a photo of herself with a handgun.

Holmes was charged with harassment by computer after a case of mistaken identity escalated into a Facebook comment feud.  A woman had reportedly mistaken Holmes for someone else and made some comments Holmes found offensive, so the young woman posted a selfie of herself playfully pointing a weapon at the camera along with the caption, “I’ll post a few actual pics of me so you know the difference when you come find me.”

Seventeen-year-old Osiris Aristy was arrested in 2015 after posting a Facebook status using the police officer emoji and the gun emoji. There was no written threat included in the post we found. The arrest warrant was obtained after “routine Facebook monitoring” found that Aristy had posted selfies with guns, selfies with marijuana joints and emojis “threatening to kill cops.”

Priscilla Villarreal simply reported a story on Facebook before the police did, so, she was arrested and charged with two felony counts of “misuse of official information,” stemming from her reporting on a Border Patrol agent’s suicide last April.

No direct threats were made to anyone and the people in the above scenarios were still arrested and charged. On the contrary, seven months ago, Cruz wrote, “I am going to kill law enforcement one day they go after the good people,” in the comments section of a video clip from the NatGeo show “Alaska State Troopers: Armed and Dangerous” that was posted on YouTube.

Then six months ago, he commented on a YouTube video titled, “Antifa Gun Club,” writing, “Im going watch them sheep fall f*ck antifa i wish to kill as many as i can.”

He also said he’s going to be a “Professional School Shooter.”

Cruz also posted photos of dead animals and bragged about killing them on his Instagram. By all measures, this kid threw up every single red flag and set off every single warning there is—people reported this to law enforcement—and nothing.

No arrests. No questions. And, all of this was in spite of the Florida law called the Baker Act which allows for involuntary examination which can be initiated by judges, law enforcement officials, physicians, or mental health professionals.

Police in Florida already had more than enough power and help from citizens to stop this tragedy, but they didn’t use it. How on earth would giving them more power solve this problem?

So, what’s the answer? Should we just hand over more power to the police who demand it? Should we put more cops in schools? Should we ban guns?

The answer to the problem of mass shootings lies not in the reactionary nature of the above questions. As we’ve seen over the years, building a police state through a problem, reaction, solution methodology does little to prevent future tragedies as they go after the symptoms instead of the cause.

In America, instead of attempting to understand the psychological triggers of mass shooters—and the potential pharmaceutical chemical imbalance that caused them to snap—tragedies are exploited for political gain, used to passed legislation, and pushed to stoke political divide.

The reality is that no amount of police state will ever prevent future tragedies and until we focus on the cause—instead of the symptoms—the problem will only persist.

    Nope.
Just another zio-con active shooter “drill”… that went live.
    Activist Hoax.

  2. don’t pretend you know the answer with that weak ass “causes not symptoms” flim flam, you’re just patronizing everyone Matt

  3. Matt’s just going to pretend he knows the answer with this causes not symptoms schtick

    • One of the causes being psychotropic and other drugs – look it up! (eg Drug-Nutrient Depletion).

      Other reasons include

      – lack of real prospects in society
      – the exploitative, patriarchal culture that leaves males angry and driven to violence if their sense of entitlement does not match the reality

      • Elderly psychiatrist Dr. Peter Breggin has very useful info on the internet about the destructive effects of psychotropic “medications”. They contribute to instead of relieve mental problems.

  4. So there ya have it. The censore police @ youtube did nothing!
Even though they censor the most valid & mild comments that they don’t like.
The FBI did nothing even though its their job.
The schools own police did nothing. Even though it’s his job.
The local police did nothing even though they had been notified. Even though it’s their job.
So it’s either MASSIVE SYSTEMIC INCOMPETENCE!
    OR IT WAS PLANNED!!!!
Either way now we know that these systems & surveilance & spying, snitching & everything wicked that goes along with it is nothing more than a ruse for the govt to have more control & push a gun confiscation agend. That will help no one except the powers that be in subjugating the population & engender more of this evil.

  5. Think about it. Look at his eyes. Why do you think mental illness has soared; especially in USA? My generation grew up with guns [age 65]& no mass shootings come to mind, but we had 3 vaccinations and nobody was on head meds. In school there was ONE fat kid ,ONE kid with asthma and maybe ONE kid with diabetes. This generation is sicker than any other and for the first time in history predicted to die younger than their parents. Today children are mandated to receive 69 shots to attend school. If you go to CDC.gov ; download “Vaccine Media & Excipients Summary” and read the ingredients [which get more toxic every year not less] you might begin to understand the CUMULATIVE & SYNERGISTIC effects of multiple doses of aluminum/mercury,Msg,industrial detergents, solvents, topical use only antibiotics, antifungals, Viruses, cells & blood from monkeys, cows, pigs, mice, chickens, guinea pigs,DOGS, INSECTS and now ELEVEN VACCINES HAVE ABORTED FETAL CELLS;all bypassing your digestive elimination system and given direct access to the brain & organs thru injection . Combine that with the FACT that 12% of our youth are on ADD/ADHD meds often from kindergarten on and the rate is almost DOUBLE that among FOSTER kids [this kid was adopted]. ONE in SIX Americans are on antidepressants ,anxiety drugs or antipsychotics. These meds ALL have warnings that they can cause SUICIDAL OR HOMICIDAL THOUGHTS. History shows that 99% of all mass shooters were on one or more head meds or had stopped them abruptly. Blame the greedy pharmaceutical companies, doctors and naive parents.

The ‘discoverer’ of ADHD said in an interview that he made the shit up. Just like most mental illnesses, mandated by non elected officials in the FDA and APA. I’m with you with all of this, I grew up with guns too and none of this. Yes, even Columbine shooters were on statin drugs. Tried vehemently to cover that up. If you look up patents on frequency uses, techniques, and apparatuses, you will find they can get into people’s heads that way as well. Truthstreammedia.com done a wonderful video on this as well as Omniverse’s documentary where all wrote down and researched into the information provided there in. The ‘father of innoculations’ said in his book that the biggest reason for vaccines and injections was for genocide, or as they call it, eugenics. I am in complete agreement CAWS, and it will not stop until we stop it.

    • Big pharma is bigger than the NRA. While the NRA backs republicans Big pharma has enough money to back both democrats and republicans and insurance company’s. Remember..big Lou is on meds too.

      • NRA backs the 2nd Amendment, many Repubs get medium or low grading from the NRA.
DemocRats wanting ultimately to seize guns in citizen’s hands somehow fail to get past F or D grading with the NRA.
Maybe Dems need “social promotion” from the NRA? That sure works well in gubmint skool edumencation.
Eli Lilley is a knowing killer covering up with their psych drugs, much much worse than the tobacco companies were.
As far as having safe schools, there is a solution. Israel has safe schools, but it takes resolve and honest assessments as below.

    • Elderly psychiatrist Dr. Peter Breggin provided a mass of insightful information about psychiatric drugs, which contribute to – NOT relieve – mental illness symptoms.
NONE of the drugs used in psychiatry actually work, other than to numb thought processes and create havoc via “side reactions”.

      • Yes the way Big Pharma makes money is make new drugs for existing disease OR to create NEW DISEASE to sell existing drugs. Dr Leon Eisenberg who came up with the ADHD “theory” [never proven to be a legit measurable illness] admitted on his death bed that it was a ruse to sell drugs. He and many others became very rich by creating lifelong drug addicts from childhood.
“Hyperactive ” kids is an oxymoron. All kids have tons of energy & curiosity. In my day we had a 6hr school day with 3 recesses and ample time for lunch & socialization; no homework till at least 6th grade. Now the kids have a SEVEN hour day; ONE recess [20 minute] and are not allowed to talk during lunch! Homework starts in KINDERGARTEN! No wonder they have to be medicated to tolerate this. If the energy is properly directed with exercise, sports, sunshine & fresh air they can accomplish incredible things. Look at all the “hyper active” children that have excelled in sports & performance arts. We played outside till dark; they get enough screen time in class. Turn off the TV too.
By the way I taught “ADD & ADHD” kids to ride horses in competition as way to learn to focus for 35 years.

        • Nice concept. However. I dealt with children who had the symptoms of hyperactivity for 7 of my ten years as psychologist in public and DoD schools. I collaborated with psychiatrists and other MDs in prescriptions of ritalin and other drugs in an attempt to assist such children to “settle down” and not be jumping around and distracting other children. Rarely did we arrive at a dosage that did what we wanted.
Teaching such individual children to “focus” cannot be assigned to public school teachers who instruct a classroom of children, not 2 or 3 who demonstrate such deficits. My impression was that parental indulgence contributed to the condition and in some children may have been the causative factor.
          Thanks for sharing your experience.

          • You are right it should not have to be dealt with in school. Lazy, misinformed or overworked parents have no time for their kids and are programed that medication is the easy way to go. I had kids come to me at eight or nine that were so drugged they had stopped eating, sleeping & growing. Over 300 kids in a girl scout equestrian program ;2 out of three were on one or more meds. I made them send them to me BEFORE they took their meds as it was too dangerous otherwise. They did great. Many were able to cut meds. The instinct to survive kicks in when you are on a 1200lb fast moving animal and you learn to focus quick. The hard part was most of them were touch learners so I did a lot of running alongside the horses to SHOW them how & where to sit & place feet ,legs hands etc. Boy was I fit!

I concur. Seems to me, this was allowed to happen to further agendas and use the Hegelian Dialectic: problem reaction solution. Was this kid a targeted individual as well? Possibly. Hypocrisy is the name of the game of kakistocracies. “Do as I say, not as I do, unless your ‘one of us’, then by all means, go ahead.” This tragedy, as with most others, is either preventable or is an actual creation.

All of these shootings are either allowed to happen or are actually orchestrated. Consider how the liberals use the shootings to advance their agenda and seem to take so much pleasure in having something to blame on the Right. Consider to that the liberal owned FBI knew there was a good chance this kid was the real deal. Please don’t tell me the cops culdn’t do anything….Probable Cause is their bread and butter.

Liberal vs conservative, Reps vs Dems, right vs left, cubs vs cardinals, Pats vs Eagles. These designations, are just to keep people pointing fingers and arguing. Join one side or the other, identity politicsThey may have specialized agendas, but for the most part they are one and the same, just a different name. A play of words, a theatrical performance and nothing more. I agree with your first sentence 100%, and I reiterate: Hegelian Dialectic, The Delphi Methodology. And it is always cue bono. Thanks for replying it is appreciated BugBunnyPatriot.

lightingstrikesthrice. I don’t disagree with your assessment that both parties are pursuing the same outcome from different angles and that keeping us divided is a tactic used on both sides. I believe that this government is as corrupt as any government you care to name. No one will ever convince me that these shootings are random. They are orchestrated to keep the division going.
Further…. Your reference to Hegelian Dialectric, Delphi Methodology is right on the money. Having worked for State and Local government most of my life I know that HD/DM is used in every aspect of government meeting where the controllers want to push an agenda. Gun Control/mass shootings, Terrorism, Climate Change, and Health Care, are perfect examples of manufactured problems that need a solution to attain a desired outcome. It is a shame more people (Left and Right) don’t understand how this manipulation works.

Excellent viewpoints and I appreciate you responding. It is good to hear from someone that actually has experience in State and is willing to come forth with info. Kudos and appreciations to you BugBunnyPatriot.

  7. Who gets HURT every time the FBI screws up?
Like the Isralies that MURDER thousands and NEVER GET ATTACKED themselves, WHY is it that the FBI never gets attacked? THEY HAVE GUNS!!!!

IT IS ALL OVER, the cover up was started BEFORE the SHOTS RANG OUT, the msm and cops are just the TIP of the COVER UP never ask the CLEAN UP KREW anything unless you already know the FACTS, even the IRS has IMMUNITY when they LIE their BLACK ASSES OFF!

” It’s a Sick World, & getting Sicker “quoted from Bob Grant ,a ,radio talk show host from many years ago, even when there were NO mass shootings , only one comes to mind; “The Texas Tower ” incident at the U.of Texas, & we DID have assinations JFK, RFK & M.L. King. SOO, the world has indeed become ” SICKER”

  12. The horrific Virginia Tech mass murder and the Columbine atrocity also had armed security. The two safest places on earth in terms of gun murders are both virtually gun free zones: the UK and Japan, both of which have 99% lower gun murder rates (and 80% lower overall murder rates) than the one nation with nearly half the world’s private guns.

According to psychiatryonline, mental lllness is about 1-3% of violent crime, tho it figures frequently in mass shootings, which are less than 1% of the total of gun murders in the US. The most critical problem is easy access to guns, lack of universal background checks, and slack enforcement.

    • Easy access to guns is neither a critical problem nor a problem of any kind. Guns do not fire themselves. Humans pull the trigger.

      • And that is why it is critical to have laws to keep guns out of the hands of violent people, as do all other developed nations with gun murder rates 85% (Canada) to 99% (UK and Japan) lower than in the US.

94% of gunowners agree with me on this, or rather I with them.

        • Yes Dale….because, after all, it has worked so well in Chicago.
Sweety, these are black ops carried out by what people think is “our government”. This is asymmetrical warfare to bring about a complete new world order change in our society. But how adorable of you to think that we just need to take away the guns of the bad people and increase the reach of big pharma. Just makes me want to bounce you from my knee.

          • It appears as if he were bounced on his head too many times as a baby.

          • That’s trolling, you know. If you have a rational response based on evidence present it.

          • 1. Chicago is surrounded by states where criminals go to buy their guns, such as Indiana, showing why universal background checks and laws are necessary. Most criminals in Chicago buy their guys elsewhere: “The Chicago Police Department traced the origins of about 50,000 guns that it recovered between 2001 and March 2012.
More than half of those guns came from outside the state.”
            http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2013/01/29/us/where-50000-guns-in-chicago-came-from.html
            2. Chicago has reduced its gun murder rate by nearly 50% since the early 90s
            http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-chicago-homicides-data-since-1957-20160302-htmlstory.html
            3. Conspiracy theories about gun massacres being black ops are invented to poison the well of legitimate conspiracy allegations so that all can be lumped together as being promoted by lunatics. Mass shootings are frequent and real.

Because you have no critical thinking skills and resort to ad homs (sweety?), facts will not sway you: “Absolute faith corrupts absolutely.” Eric Hoffer in The

OUTED AS SHILL. In all his responses on any subject, he touts corporate media talking points and uses corporate controlled mainstream sources. SHILL SHILL SHILL SHILL.

I should have looked at all his posts before even engaging. TAKE NOTE EVERYONE——-DALE RUFF—–SHILL.
Same consciousness that will participate in a black ops…….they don’t have a conscience.

          • Well, aren’t you the libeler? I am a 76 year old free and independent soul beholden to no one. I do not parrot the mainstream media but get info from alterntive websites, international press, and books for depth. Repeating my name….yelling it out to libel me….only reflects on your own inability to respond in a rational manner.

I am a true independent. My loyalty is to the truth, evidence, reliable sources that can back up their logic with facts, and I let the chips fall where they may. Those who are imprisoned in propaganda echo chambers often attack me, which I wear as a badge of honor. Now, if you have any decency, you will apologize, and if you have any evidence to refute what I have written, present it: put up or shut up.

        • The murder in Chicago on 14 Feb of police commander Bauer is another event in the string of evidence that only honest people adhere to gun laws. The Chicago criminal who shot policeman Bauer to death had a 20-year string of criminal convictions. Yet, he continued to walk the streets of Chicago, and used a hand gun in his possession to murder policeman Bauer. The criminal was also wearing a bullet-proof vest.
Your fairy-tale about gun laws repeats the myth that gun-suppression laws work.
Criminals disregard gun laws and fairy tales about gun-laws working, which you obviously still have not learned.

And which one of those would have prevented these shootings.

      • Banning assault weapons……will not eliminate mass shootings but it will reduce the scale. A decent national healthcare program that treats the seriously mentally ill may have intervened before the white nationalists got to this young man. After Australia banned assault weapons (provoked by a mass shooting that murdered 35), there has not been one mass murder since (25 years).

Curious how people think the murder of one person is more acceptable than the the murder of 2. …. must explain why abortion is so easy. Banning “assault ” weapons would change nothing.

  13. The official story is already falling apart. Another staged event, and people may have actually been killed. There are witnesses reporting that this kid was not the shooter, that there was gunfire coming from multiple locations. One girl said she was walking with him down the stairs when the gunfire started. It wasn’t him.

  15. survivor’s and victim’s families need to sue (all of) BIG Pharma
the point should be that it is not about getting money for survivors or victim’s families or their lawyers, BUT the principle: that as long as BIG Pharma incentivises the prescription of dangerous and nine times out of ten unnecessary drugs, they should rather send that money to where it should go (survivors and victim’s families), not to the medical practitioners living off of their largesse
and then bring the prices of necessary (and useful / healthy or healing) drugs down to reasonable prices, and halt production of all of the poisons
