Last fall, New England Patriots Quarterback, Tom Brady, released a new book, The TB12 Method: How to Achieve a Lifetime of Sustained Peak Performance.
It included advice such as “turn off all your electronic devices a half hour before you go to sleep. If there’s a TV in your bedroom, consider putting it somewhere else. It’s a bedroom, not a tech cave. My wife doesn’t even allow cellphones near the bed….”
Although this may seem extreme to those of us who aren’t professional athletes, supermodels, or strict adherents of a holistic lifestyle, the same advice has been given by many health experts over the years.

“Dirty Electricity” isn’t sexy.
Although there has been much recent media attention given in regard to cell phones and wireless radiation, it’s also good to be aware of potential harm due to “Dirty Electricity” and other sources of Electrical Pollution (also referred to as “Electrosmog”).
DE is referred to by experts as “ElectroMagnetic Interference (EMI), “Harmonics,” and “Harmonic Distortions”.

Unfortunately nowadays many common household products are sources of Electrical Pollution. This includes all CFL lightbulbs, some LED lightbulbs, dimmer switches, modems, routers, solar panels, anything with a switch mode power supply (inside some computers and device chargers), some appliances, and utility “smart” meters.
Many health experts advise electronics-free bedrooms because it provides long uninterrupted breaks for the body to recuperate from Electrical pollution. Like other sources of pollution, some are more affected by this than others.
