FBI Director Slams WikiLeaks, Calls It “Intelligence Porn,” Assange Fires Back

By Dawn Luger

The entire government is turning on WikiLeaks, and this shift began shortly after Donald Trump’s inauguration.  While the whistleblowing website was releasing information about Hillary Clinton, the right was largely silent and even praised Julian Assange.  But the tables have turned since Vault 7’s release, and there’s probably a reason why, but Assange is firing back in the meantime.

FBI director James Comey, who claimed he was “mildly nauseous” over potentially swaying the election, has been knee deep in many issues and scandals (such as Hillary Clinton’s email debacle.) These instances have pushed him into headlines and continue to revolve around WikiLeaks seemingly constant dump of information to the public.  But now Comey has followed in the footsteps of the CIA chief in blasting WikiLeaks for giving the public the cold hard truth we deserve.

Testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Comey was asked why the United States had not charged WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange with a crime. Comey said he had to be careful with his answer, because he did not want to confirm whether there were charges pending against Assange, but then responded: “He hasn’t been apprehended because he is inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London.” –Politico

But that isn’t all he said.  He went on to blast Assange’s whistleblowing website.  “To my mind, it crosses a line when it moves from being about trying to educate a public and instead just becomes about intelligence porn, frankly, just pushing out information about sources and methods without regard to interests,” Comey said Wednesday.

Ironically, Comey’s entire statement validated the fact that what Assange is releasing is true, and it’s, therefore, damaging to the American government, who has had a stranglehold on pertinent information for the past ten years.  In fact, Barack Obama and his administration set a record for withholding FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests, and it’s too early to tell if president Trump will follow in those same footsteps.

Comey also added that he’s upset that Julian Assange dared to release the truth without begging for his permission before doing so. Comey said that “American journalists” who obtain classified information usually call the government before publishing to determine if any lives would be put in danger. “This activity I’m talking about WikiLeaks involves no such considerations whatsoever,” he said.

But Assange put Comey firmly in his place over that lie using his Twitter account.  Assange wrote: “James Comey just mislead the Senate while under oath when said Wikileaks ‘doesn’t call us’. We did over #Vault7 and I know he knows it.”

Not only did Comey validate that what Assange and WikiLeaks released was factual information, but he intentionally lied to the senate under oath to cover his tracks.  It’s becoming apparent the government really doesn’t want us to read what’s on WikiLeaks website, and that should be all the more reason to do so.  But Assange wasn’t done with Comey just yet either.  He then took a second jab at the FBI director on Twitter for calling his facts “intelligence porn” likely in an effort to demean the site.

Comey is also still blaming Russia for the release of information which damaged Hillary Clinton during the election.  He conveniently forgets to mention that all the information WikiLeaks released in the Podesta emails was factual though.  And a WikiLeaks operative has said he accepted the information from upset Bernie Sanders supporter after Hillary Clinton and John Podesta worked actively with the DNC to ensure Hillary got the democrat nomination over the socialist. The information didn’t come from Russia, according to WikiLeaks, and they have been far more trustworthy than the American government as of late.  Especially since Comey cannot seem to make up his mind about Russian election hacking.

With the entire US government against Assange, it’s quite astonishing he’s keeping his sense of humor, remaining fairly upbeat, and still releasing the information all of us deserve to know.

  1. They liked Assange when he leaked damaging Dem info but damn him now over Vault 7.

I’m all in for President Trump and he should school Comey on Wikileaks as “The Snake”

  2. Hiding the truth from the people is a form of tyranny and inimicable to democracy!

ASSANGE, SNOWDEN, and the other whistle blowers against power elite police state Totalitarianism, are true heroes of liberty and justice for all. Imagine how BAD this emerging police state would be by now had they not told WE, the People, the TRUTH about the Dark State within our fast emerging police State..

And Director Comey–to use the mode of his own comment, is about as transparent as a cheap pair of Victoria secret panites. The FBI was never, and never will be the false propaganda of the sixties Television series.
The ugly truth goes back to the very beginning days when Hoover, the most evil and corrupt criminal LEO executive to ever wear ladies underwear, was said to rival and exceed the dark state manifestations of Hitler’s SS Gestapo. And if you ‘follow the money since J. Edgar’s demise, You would notice that not only has the absolutely unaccountable and ‘Untouchable’ autonomous police state agency still has not changed, but may be even worse when you see how they handled everything from the original Oklahoma city fiasco, to 911 to Ruby Ridge, to Waco, to the summary political execution of Freedom Activist Finicum at Malheur protests, an many other cases, to letting hot listed Islamic terrorists run around without surveillance when they push all the watch buttons and raise all the black flags?! Yet they literally have their own shadow airforce of hundreds of surveillance aircraft dressed up as civilian light planes, equipped with millions of your tax paid dollars worth of advanced spying equipment, just to randomly SPY, and do warrantless searches on American citizens from the air!…They may be getting worse?

  4. Gotta wonder why Assange is so hostile to 9/11 Truth, calling a “false conspiracy”.

There was a time when alt media spoke truth to power without exception and 9/11 was understood to be the crime we need to always call out because it was the excuse given for the illegal wars on terror and the growing global police state.

  5. If the government is against him, Assange must be doin something right.
