After CIA Micro-Coup, Trump Suddenly Wants Russia To Give Up Crimea, Thinks Obama Was ‘Too Soft’

By Brandon Turbeville

Only a day after an apparent micro-coup conducted by elements within the CIA and U.S. intelligence apparatus, it appears that, if the CIA’s goal was to convince President Donald Trump that moves toward rapprochement with Russia would not be tolerated and that forces greater than Trump are in control of U.S. policy, that mission has been accomplished.

Despite a campaign of seemingly more rational foreign policy promises not to start World War Three, on the evening of February 14, mainstream headlines announced that Trump is now claiming that Crimea was “taken” by Russia and that Russia should give the region back to Ukraine.

“President Trump has made it very clear that he expects the Russian government to deescalate violence in the Ukraine and return Crimea,” said White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on Tuesday. Trump then later tweeted on Wednesday, February 15, “Crimea was TAKEN by Russia during the Obama Administration. Was Obama too soft on Russia?”

As is typical, senile warmonger John McCain, who is well-known for abandoning U.S. POWs in Vietnam and supporting every single military action ever put on the table including supporting actual terrorists, joined in a chorus of war fervor, urging Trump to “let’s take a different course together: give defensive lethal assistance to #Ukraine & keep sanctions on #Russia.”

Trump’s rhetoric on the campaign, mere hinting at the fact that the United States under a Trump administration might consider removing the idiotic and aggressive sanctions put in place under Obama, are now directly at odds with his behavior and decisions as President.

Russia is not backing down either, having called on Trump to live up to his more sensible rhetoric on the campaign trail regarding peace and a sane relationship with Russia. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman, Maria Zhakarova, also stated that the question of Crimea will simply not be discussed and is not open for debate. “Crimea is part of the Russian Federation,” she said.

Russian officials also denied the paranoid conspiracy theories of leftist commentators and mainstream media pundits regarding the alleged collusion between Trump’s team and Russian intelligence.

A clear intelligence operation, the Michael Flynn ouster has either provided justification for Trump’s sharp left?/right? imperialist turn against Russia or it was simply a message sent by the intelligence community that Trump has clearly received. If the incident was the former, we are witnessing clever theater being played at a level of complexity heretofore unseen in American politics. If it is the latter, however, Trump must immediately begin to get his intelligence apparatus under control, possibly by indictments of any individuals involved in the monitoring and leaking of Flynn’s phone call. Indeed, these rogue actors should be given all the comforts of Chelsea Manning’s vacated cell.

  1. Aside from those who can be absolutely assured of their loyalty, purge (by any means necessary) the rest of the CIA (from the agency, public and private sector). Time to go Stalin on them!

  2. Accepting Flynn’s resignation was a mistake that will haunt, and possibly doom the Donald and this country.
He was the military voice of reason.

  3. Looks like Trump lied his way into the Presidency too. Now, Israel, and the US is training mercs to infiltrate Crimea – its time for Russia to issue a statement of Nuclear response if attacked – after all, its NATO, America, EU , Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and a few others that are getting ready to attack Russia – Of Course the new liar in the WH will be the first in the war bunker – hoping Russia doesn’t have a surprise for him – shortly after the attack.

  4. We’re already in the slow 180 degree turn.
Has any potus kept their campaign promises once elected?
He’s in the club. If he wasn’t there would have been an accident by now.
We all know what happened to the last guy against secrecy, the mob, cia, and the fed.
He’s surrounded by a thousand devils and will do as he’s told.
WE THE PEOPLE are the only last check and balance and we are derelict in our duties in correcting the out of control corruption. Big bus, the govt and the big financial people have formed a mafia and are ruling over us.
History has already proven it’s a big club and we aren’t in it, but we can change that if we have the courage and the will. It’s up to us, but it will take action. They have lulled us to sleep becoming voyeurs of our own lives.

    • People sould take aktion.
Just I do not agree with many “fighters for freedom” who think it must be violent action, a “revolution”.
Those “revolutions” always turned ugly for the revolutionaries……

We may listen to what the “Insider” said in 2005 :

“The tools are in your hands, around you, everywhere… it is even being drawn out of you. It is your duty towards yourself to reveal them to yourself and then do as you please with them…. there is always a consequence.
If you observe closely you will see we [the controllers] are merely spreading the tools which can be used by you to free yourself or chain yourself, your choice.
There is no enemy you can attack except yourself. If you are busy attacking something else, you are wasting precious energy and you will fail.”

Here is a hint to what I consider the right action taken :

      • Faith is good, but can be merely professed. Without acts to prove said faith they become only words akin to wishing and hoping.
Like many americans I loathe violence and view it as the last resort of good men, but when criminals have taken over the judicial system and made unlawful rules, then what.
When doing the right thing is unlawful, good men and women become the criminals.
The people will not be the ones to drive this to violence. It will be the criminals desperate to hold on to control.
Each passing day forces us to go along to get along, or take a stand for what is right.

Morality is doing what is right no matter what you are told.
Obedience is doing what you are told no matter what is right.

    • – reminds of president Truman´s letter of apology to Americans, after he learned that the CIA coordinated the murder of president John F. Kennedy, Sr..

Pres. Truman is alleged to have written, “I never would have agreed to the formulation of the Central Intelligence Agency back in forty-seven, if I had known it would become the American Gestapo.” – Harry S. Truman

  5. oh no….not another puppet

  6. I think he’s just paying lip service, to shut down some of the criticism, knowing that Russia is not going to give back Crimea. Some of this uber-noise about Trump’s presidency being over is just noise, ignoring the fact that Trump is still Trump and will do what Trump would have done with Flynn on board, anyway. He has not undergone either lobotomy or microcrhipping. And, though he can’t do everything, he never could – and nobody else could, either. Short of assassination, Trump will still be Trump, for better or worse. No big change. Sorry.

  7. It will take a lot of blood to get back our freedom.

  8. If the President acquiesces in the “coup” by the CIA and others than he is completely hobbled for the rest of his presidency. To save democracy, he must control the intelligence agencies by being stronger than they are. Either he is the head of the Executive Branch or they are. What is it to be?

    • Correct I feel back stabbers are at play and he needs to carefully go through the CIA FBI NSA from the top down. Seems that the CIA also interferes in French elections but it is Russia’s fault.

  9. Putin will not fold and we will die in a war we do not want if we remain still and commpliant

    • We The People must cut the head off the snake.

State SECESSION from the federal government (which is owned by the federal reserve) is the best option.

I voted for Trump and hope he does well. I hope America does well. Hope only gets us so far.

The warpig scum who run America have declared war on everyone.
