Australia Considers Precrime Indefinite Detention

prison-2By Kurt Nimmo

Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has introduced legislation that would keep prisoners convicted of terrorism offenses locked up indefinitely.

The Washington Post reports:

The change will upend a centuries-old legal principle that prisoners are automatically released when their sentences end. Even the United States, which has kept suspected terrorists in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, without trial for over a decade, doesn’t allow prisoners on U.S. soil to be held after their sentences end.

“No other democracies in Europe or North America do this,” said Elaine Pearson, the director of Human Rights Watch in Australia, in an interview. “The definition of terrorism is pretty broad in Australia and includes the financing of terrorism and recruitment, which is one of the reasons we’re worried about this.”

Last year the government of New South Wales trained police to shoot and kill suspected terrorists instead of negotiating with them.

Following a hostage situation at Lindt Café in Sydney the Herald Sun reported:

If we have learned anything from the Lindt Café siege, it’s that terrorists cannot be treated like other criminals.

They cannot be placated, reasoned with, or exhausted into submission.

Law enforcement authorities around the world have long recognised that those waging jihad are a different breed, requiring different strategies.

It should be noted the man responsible for the hostage crisis, Man Haron Monis, was not a political terrorist. He was schizophrenic and described himself as an Iranian intelligence official, a political activist, a spiritual healer and expert in black magic, an outlaw biker, and a Muslim cleric.

The police killed Monis and two hostages during the siege.

The Herald Sun is exactly correct. You cannot reason with a Jihadist. When they no longer fear death, what do you have against them that can be used to justify your actions. NOTHING ! When a man fears nothing, you can only kill him if you want to shut him up. As an old man told me once; If you want to kill an idea or ideal, you must kill everyone who harbors those concepts right down to but excluding those too young to remember”

Christians have a hard time wrapping their heads around that concept, but ancient Armies of old knew quite well what was required if you wanted to take down another civilization.

You don’t argue with a man, (Jihadist) on a mission, as his mind is already made up. This is a political war with Islam, as religion has nothing to do with it, and the ignorant fools who believe it is a religious Jihad need to be taken out, no questions asked.

The problem is these “laws” general get used against everyday citizens not “Jihadist”
Many would argue the fact Isis has been greatly helped by the west, America Created Al-Qaeda and the ISIS Terror Group and of course by “accident” of course America drops $billions out of the plane’s literally, and accidentally gives them Arms and accidentally of course bombs Christians in Aleppo,
And has the nerve to attack Russia for fighting Isis and protecting Christians in Aleppo??

    • “This is a political war with Islam, as religion has nothing to do with it,”
Can anyone really be that stupid?
Please explain what is ‘Islam’ except a religion.

      • Islam is a political death cult masquerading as a religion.

Sharia is a form of law, not faith.

Islam my friend is a POLITICAL IDEOLOGY which uneducated men use to subjugate those too stupid to fully grasp that Mohammad dictated that everyone must believe as he did or face death as a infidel. Now, would you classify that as a “Religion of Peace”?

        • Two blatant lies in one sentence (actually 3 as I am not your friend.)
Islam has nothing to do with ‘Political ideologies’ any more than Shintoism or Confucianism, only an ignorant fool would claim so. Learn even a smidgeon of Islam and you would see how stupid your claim is.
“Mohammad dictated that everyone must believe as he did or face death as a infidel” total nonsense. Only (Arab) ‘Pagans’ believing in multiple gods were to converted, ‘People of the book’ and others were to be left alone as far as their beliefs were concerned.
          A) I am not a muslim and B) I am not ignorant.

When I use the term “Friend” in this instance, I use it as sarcasm, because I would never befriend anyone as ignorant as you. You my friend would make a fine Muslime even though you profess not to be one. Quite frankly enough Christians have read the Koran to fully grasp what it does dictate. Most of which is denied because it also says it is perfectly OK to lie to an Infidel to further the precepts of Islam. See, young man you are ignorant, but because you won’t bother to take that next step and educate yourself, you are stupid as well.

  2. SICK! Get out Australian people, while you can!
