Most Americans don’t even know how many countries their government is currently bombing (it was at least seven by 2014). Obama dropped 23,144 bombs in Middle Eastern countries in 2015 alone. By that count, you’d think ISIS would be erased from the face of the planet. Instead, more and more “boots” are being placed “on the ground” in Iraq and Syria all the time. Just because no one has said it’s an official “war” doesn’t make it anything less… and people aren’t even paying attention anymore to whether or not the wars our government is waging are actually Constitutional or not.
Now an Army Captain with “ISIS Operation Inherent Resolve” stationed at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait has filed a lawsuit against his Commander-in-Chief over the Unconstitutional war Obama is waging against ISIS.
“To honor my oath, I am asking the court to tell the president that he must get proper authority from Congress, under the War Powers Resolution, to wage the war against ISIS in Iraq and Syria,” Army Capt. Nathan Michael Smith says in the 53-page document he filed today in the DC US District Court.
He contends that this war violates the War Powers Resolution, is illegal, and that Article II, section 2 of the Constitution does not authorize the president to initiate hostilities without a declaration of war or specific statutory authorization.
The fact that it would even come to this — that our military members are to the level of suing our president to get him to follow the Constitution — should tell you how far gone things are.

Peace will come when the soldiers convince themselves to lay down their weapons than to think our corporate owned talking monkeys in congress would actually do their part in bringing about peace. There is not one candidate running for office that seriously intends to end the non-declared warfare of the US. We are the Nazis and the terrorists on the new millennium whose economic paradigm is perpetual warfare.
Not “we” the people, but rather the leaders of USGov who pledge 1st allegiance to Israel instead of the USA.
Scapegoating Obama and the Clintons for the abuse by the GHWBush family of the US Military seems to be less and less effective. Americans and Europeans are wising up – except for Germans. Their minds continue to be boggled by the Israeli-Merkel machine that enhances ISIS-ISIL driving Arabs from their homelands into the NATO members of the EU, polluting the European culture.
The People will not care about this until they have skin in the game. Re-institute the draft and make it a law that members of Congress must have at least one family member in front line units. Peace will break out almost immediately. (of course many members of Congress are sociopaths to some degree and they will sacrifice their relatives for cash.)
