Turkish Party Member Claims Syria Chemical Weapons Attack Committed By Jihadists With Help From Turkey

In August, 2013, a horrendous chemical attack took place in Ghouta, a Damascus suburb in which a number of civilians were killed. Immediately, images of the dead and dying were broadcast across Western television screens and the blame was placed on the shoulders of Bashar al-Assad’s secular government by Western governments such as the United States, the NATO alliance, the GCC, and Israel. This attack was very nearly the trigger for a direct NATO invasion of Syria on the basis of “humanitarian intervention” until the Russians stepped in and negotiated a plan with Assad to destroy Syria’s stockpile of chemical weapons.

Those attacks, however, were never committed by the Syrian military but by the Western-backed terrorists who not only directly targeted innocent civilians but kidnapped a number of their victims from other locations in Syria and took them to Ghouta to be used as human stage props for effect. These attacks were not only pounced upon by Western governments but it is extremely likely that NATO was well aware of their planning before they ever took place.

Many researchers in the alternative media were able to observe the evidence and debunk the official line coming from the U.S. State Department and its mainstream media mouthpieces. Thankfully, war was averted and another lesson should have been learned by the general public that their mainstream “credible” media outlets should not be trusted with reporting the weather, much less information that could influence public opinion in regards to the possibility of war.

Now, two years after the attack, even more evidence is emerging which demonstrates that the attacks in Ghouta were not only committed by Western-backed jihadists but were facilitated by NATO itself.

According to Turkish opposition party member, Eren Erdem (Republican People’s Party [CHP]), a cover-up of Turkish involvement in terms of both the foreknowledge and the shipping of chemical weapons materials to terrorists operating in Syria.

Erdem cites evidence from an “abruptly-closed criminal case.” He told RT that “There is data in this indictment. Chemical weapon materials are being brought to Turkey and being put together in Syria in camps of ISIS which was known as Iraqi Al Qaeda during that time.”

The case Erdem is referring to is criminal case number 2013/120, opened by the General Prosecutor’s Office in Andana.

According to RT, “The investigation revealed that a number of Turkish citizens took part in negotiations with Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) representatives on the supply of sarin gas.”

Erdem pointed out, by citing evidence in the case mentioned above, that wiretapped phone conversations clearly demonstrated that Hayyam Kasap, an al-Qaeda member and fighter, had acquired Sarin.

“These are all detected. There are phone recordings of this shipment like ‘don’t worry about the border, we’ll take care of it’ and we also see the bureaucracy is being used,” Erdem stated.

The evidence gathered during the course of the investigation resulted in the ability of the Adana authorities to conduct a number of raids and arrest 13 suspects. However, only a week later, the case was mysteriously and abruptly closed and all the suspects were released. Erdem says they immediately cross the Turkish-Syrian border.

Erdem stated,

About the shipment, Republic prosecutor of Adana, Mehmet Arıkan, made an operation and the related people were detained. But as far as I understand he was not an influential person in bureaucracy. A week after, another public prosecutor was assigned, took over the indictment and all the detainees were released. And they left Turkey crossing the Syrian border.

The phone recordings in the indictment showed all the details from how the shipment was going to be made to how it was prepared, from the content of the labs to the source of the materials. Which trucks were going to be used, all dates etc. From A to Z, everything was discussed and recorded. Despite all of this evidence, the suspects were released.

And the shipment happened. Because no one stopped them. That’s why maybe the sarin gas used in Syria is a result of this.

Erdem also spoke of evidence fingering Turkish Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation for being involved in the operation as well, with some “unconfirmed reports” suggesting a government cover-up, specifically with the involvement of Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdag’s heavy involvement.

Some of Erdem’s evidence suggests that Bozdag wanted to know from the Sarin producer whether the jihadists/ISIS fighters would receive the chemical material and if they would use it before the transfer took place.

Erdem stated,

When I read the indictment, I saw clearly that these people have relationships with The Machinery and Chemical Industry Institution of Turkey and they don’t have any worries about crossing the border. For example in Hayyam Kasap’s phone records, you hear him saying sarin gas many times, saying that the ateliers are ready for production, materials are waiting in trucks which were supposedly carrying club soda.

According to Erdem, he confronted Bozdag who only denied that he wanted to know about the operations before they took place.

Erdem refers to the 2013 Ghouta chemical weapons attack which Western governments attempted to blame on Assad. According to him, the Adana case proves it was not Assad who committed the attacks but the Western-backed jihadists. In addition, he points out that the West, especially Europe, provided the materials necessary to create such a weapon.

Erdem stated to RT,

For example the chemical attack in Ghouta. Remember. It was claimed that the regime forces were behind it. This attack was conducted just days before the sarin operation in Turkey. It’s a high probability that this attack was carried out with those basic materials shipped through Turkey. It is said the regime forces are responsible but the indictment says it’s ISIS. UN inspectors went to the site but they couldn’t find any evidence. But in this indictment, we’ve found the evidence. We know who used the sarin gas, and our government knows it too.

All basic materials are purchased from Europe. Western institutions should question themselves about these relations. Western sources know very well who carried out the sarin gas attack in Syria. They know these people, they know who these people are working with, they know that these people are working for Al-Qaeda. I think is Westerns are hypocrats about the situation.

Regardless of Erdem’s new evidence, it was clear long ago that the Assad government had nothing to do with the chemical weapon’s attacks in Ghouta or any other chemical weapons attacks in Syria.

If Erdem’s new evidence is accurate, however, we now have a clear glimpse into not only who used the weapons but who helped provide them. As is the case in virtually every terrorist operation in Syria, such evidence does not paint a positive picture of Turkey and the West.

“Only God and the Divine Law are to be obeyed; and man is to be obeyed only when he is working in harmony with the Divine Law and for the good of mankind generally. The refusal of man to obey an unjust order even though he might thereby lose his life, was borne in mind by Jesus when he said : “He that loseth his life shall find it.” Matt. 10:31.
If all men, especially those who are called Christian and who claim to be followers of the lowly Nazarene, would refuse to bear arms against their fellowmen, war and blood-shed would soon be a thing of the past.”
