The thought of one or a few companies owning sole rights to corn or soybeans or wheat should be enough to outlaw and ban all GMOs. More than that, Monsanto is bankrupting farmers and competition after Monsanto contaminates non-target crops. Monsanto should be the one paying damages. Nobody can control pollen and contaminating all food crops eventually with GMO.
Messing with our food chain on a microscopic level is going to be a scientific blunder that will be like asbestos times a million. Instead of something horrible in the walls of a few buildings, it’s going to be in your DNA. Good luck cleaning that out!

We can add to the story that
A) The Monsanto man (Richard Goodman) that suddently was on the board at FCT (where the Seralini study was published) did his job with the retraction. Now, however, he is no longer at FCT.
B) There is today a new editor-in-chief at FCT (Food and Chemical Toxicology), Jose L. Domingo.
He had shown very clearly that there is no consensus ablout the safety of GMO in studies, AND among the peer-reviewed studies showing that GMO is dangerous he has the Seralini study – so he of course regard the Seralini as a scientific one
All this the pro-GMO dont mention with a word. This news seems also to do they dont mention Seralini at all.

C) The EU parliament study decided that a new long-time study (GMO and glyphosate) should be done, but it cant be done before 2018. (But the EFSA – the “EU FDA” want to say OK to glyphosate today for another fifteen years, they recieved a lot of studies with the Monsanto dossier, and have a very strange writing about the WHO classification.)
D) Recently I read that Seralini in a letter to FCT about a study that claim that a DuPont GMO-canola is OK for human health – and that this canoli dont differ from other – the feed for the control group ALSO WAS GMO!! So, they compared canola GMO with corn and soy GMO! A fraud. In how many studies are this GMO given to the conytrol group??

Didn’t the International Agency for Research on Cancer say, just a few months ago, after the republish, that the sample size was too small, the description of the tumors was poor, and that the study was inadequate?
