Putin Reveals ISIS Funded by 40 Countries, Including G20 Members

Antalya, Turkey – Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that he has shared intelligence with the other G20 member states, which reveals the 40 countries from which ISIS finances the majority of their terrorist activities. The list reportedly included a number of G20 countries.

“I provided examples based on our data on the financing of different Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) units by private individuals. This money, as we have established, comes from 40 countries and, there are some of the G20 members among them,” Putin told reporters.

In addition to discussing the need to stop the flow of donor money to ISIS, Putin also reiterated the need to stop the illegal oil trade by ISIS.

“I’ve shown our colleagues photos taken from space and from aircraft which clearly demonstrate the scale of the illegal trade in oil and petroleum products,” he said.

“The motorcade of refueling vehicles stretched for dozens of kilometers, so that from a height of 4,000 to 5,000 meters they stretch beyond the horizon,” Putin said.

The Islamic State makes an estimated $50 million a month from selling crude from captured oilfields in Iraq and Syria, according to Iraqi intelligence and U.S. officials.

According to a report by Business Insider:

Oil sales — the extremists’ largest single source of continual income — are a key reason they have been able to maintain their rule over their self-declared “caliphate” stretching across large parts of Syria and Iraq. With the funds to rebuild infrastructure and provide the largesse that shore up its fighters’ loyalty, it has been able to withstand ground fighting against its opponents and more than a year of bombardment in the U.S.-led air campaign.

It’s worth noting that within the past 24 hours the U.S. has launched its first strike against an ISIS oil convoy. Prior to Monday, the United States had refused to strike the over 1,000 ISIS controlled tanker trucks out of a stated concern about causing civilian casualties, a dubious assertion at best.

The NY Times reported:

Intensifying pressure on the Islamic State, United States warplanes for the first time attacked hundreds of trucks on Monday that the extremist group has been using to smuggle the crude oil it has been producing in Syria, American officials said.

According to an initial assessment, 116 trucks were destroyed in the attack, which took place near Deir al-Zour, an area in eastern Syria that is controlled by the Islamic State.

The airstrikes were carried out by four A-10 attack planes and two AC-130 gunships based in Turkey.

While the U.S. claims these new operations were planned well in advance of the terrorist attacks in Paris, one can’t help but be suspicious of the timing of the U.S. change in tactics. It seems that the U.S. is being forced closer to the Russian position in the wake of the attacks in France.

During the press conference, Putin went on to stress that an international coalition is needed to more effectively counter the terrorist group, noting Russia’s readiness to support the fight against ISIS.

“Some armed opposition groups consider it possible to begin active operations against IS with Russia’s support. And we are ready to provide such support from the air. If it happens it could become a good basis for the subsequent work on a political settlement,” Putin said.

“We really need support from the US, European nations, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran,” the Russian president added.

In the wake of the claimed ISIS attacks in Paris, perhaps the NATO contingent involved in Syria will now realize that removing Assad is not the primary goal, and that fighting ISIS is the actual mission.

The Russian intelligence analysis of the 40 nations funding the ISIS terror machine were relayed to diplomats attending the G20 summit – but were not released to the media, nor the general public. We will keep you updated if/when the names of the ISIS supporting states are leaked.

  2. Putin is putting them in their place – at least he is not afraid to lead and shows no signs of backing off.
Unlike bary the disingenuous and nwo shill boyah.

    • Problem, reaction, solution. Flow of monies to “extremists” (the term morphing around the world to include dissenters, including Russia which is currently putting 16 Jehovah Witnesses on trial under Russia’s anti extremist laws for practicing a non authorized religion) will require some kind of international globalist owned entity to track, monitor and oversee all financial transactions.

      • “In August 2013, Russia even banned the group’s international website — the only nation to do so. In early 2014, a regional court overturned this ruling.

And it was not until May 2015 that the Russian Justice Ministry allowed the Jehovah’s Witnesses to operate as a legal community in Moscow.”

Russia, like all nations, has civil rights problems but it behooves us to be honest about them and realize that the US has the highest incarceration in the world, while holding Muslims at Gitmo without any charges every being filed for more than a decade.

The fact is that civil rights in the US, UK, and other nations have deteriorated, while Russia is more free and democratic than any time in its history. All meaningful comparisons are relative. Russia, with thousands of indpendent media (see MOscowTimes for harsh criticism of state persecution of JWs) and democratic elections, Russia is still emerging from the dictatorships of the Soviet era and the Yeltsin era. It has a long way to go but it is a fact that, unlike the West, it is making progress and today is both more free and wealthy than any time in its history.

        • My comments were about people being ACTIVELY prosecuted, facing jail time, from a November 20, 2015 Washington Post article. Interesting the Jehovah Witnesses have a world view that clashes with mankind used as cog in a Technocracy and the stack and pack Agenda 21 unnatural living conditions for humanity. It could be a coincidence, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they are a test case for thought crime.

“The prosecutor’s office declined to comment on the trial, but the case files, which fill 89 volumes, show the extent of the investigation. During the inquiry, police informants posing as parishioners took hidden-camera footage of the services, and defendants say an investigator offered to drop the charges if they renounced their membership in the sect.”

          • Russia does not have a perfect civil rights record. I stated that but it must be put in the context of flawed civil rights in other nations.

High rise buildings in cities are nothing new. Blaming Agenda 21 for proposing solutions to decrease pollution is absurd.

None of the most vertical cities in the world have been created by the UN.

While Russia needs to clean up civil rights abuses, it is a fact that it has never been more free than today. I challenge you to refute that claim. And I urge you to look at the erosion of civil rights in the US and the West since 9/11.

You argue Russia is not perfect. No one disagrees. I argue it has never been more prosperous or progressive. Can you refute that by pointing to a time in its history when it was both richer and more democratic, with more civil rights, more independent media?

You cannot. So for all its faults,Russia is on the right track,a sentiment agreed to by a vast majority of Russians. In the US, only 28% feel the US is on the right track.

“n a recent poll of the Russian public, the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research finds President Vladimir Putin is extremely popular, and most Russians believe their country, which is facing mounting economic pressures and international conflict, is headed in the right direction(2/3)”- See more at: http://www.apnorc.org/projects/Pages/HTML%20Reports/public-opinion-in-russia-russians-attitudes-on-the-economic-and-domestic-issues-issue-brief.aspx#sthash.sg6DtWZp.dpuf

Russia is moving forward; the West is moving backwards.
Demonizing Putin will not change that fact.

          • Civil liberties are far more curtailed in Russia than the US. Russians are not allowed to peacefully protest at will. Journalists and bloggers are threatened and censored. The prestigious journal NATURE recently published an article on the bizarre situation of Russia ordering its scientists to give their research papers to Russia’s secret service for clearance. It’s just a sampling. The problem with the alt media is the writers don’t do any in depth research on Russia and many use the memory hole as easily as The Ministry of Truth. I don’t have any ill feeling towards the Russian people whatsoever, they have been victimized by the global elite parasites to the nth degree, it’s the Kleptocrats there and around the world I believe must be exposed. The atrocities of tens of millions slaughtered in China and Russia make it clear human nature is the problem and academic minded people like yourself who side with the new Technocratic paradigm have blinded yourselves into thinking that, because humans can be so base, you must have absolute control over them, and in the process you ignore your own natures and conveniently ignore the fact that most of the base behaviors are due to the constantly engineered conflicts and dumbing down.

          • Well, that’s what the Western press, which you pointed out is propaganda media, says. Russia, in fact, has thousands of independent media which harshly criticize the government.

The US has a much higher incarceration rate, and journalists like Gary Webb, who exposed the CIA/crack connection was murdered.

Seymour Hersh, our most celebrated journalist, was denied publication of his expose of the false flag CW attacks blamed on the Syrian government.

Many US research channels are controlled by corporations like Monsanto, which then thru the revolving door takes control of government agencies like the USDA and FDA.

Kleptocracy is the rule in the US with Big Pharma having pocketed 400 billion since the Bush Part D Medicare scam, which prohibits Medicare, which under free market conditions, should get drugs for the lowest prices, from negotiating drug prices, causing it to pay twice as much as Medicaid, the VA, and many much smaller groups.

The US ordinary population is getting poorer, more people are imprisoned than any nation on earth, and the ruling class controls elections, legislation, policy, and regulatory agencies. By contrast, Russia is getting richer, freer, and with the oligarchy crackdowns by Putin less plutocratic. Your view mirrors the propaganda narrative of the State Department and the corporate media.

Protests are common in Russia, often funded by the US.

“On 10 December 2011, after a week of small-scale demonstrations, Russia saw some of the biggest protests in Moscow since the 1990s. The focus of the protests have been the ruling party, United Russia, and its leader Vladimir Putin, the current president, previous prime minister, and previous two-term president, who announced his intention to run again forPresident in 2012.”

Wikipedia attempts to list many of the protests:

“The largest protests and main opposition events include rallies to support the old NTV staff (2001), mass protests against Mikhail Zurabov’s reforms (2005), Dissenters’ March (2005–2008), Russian Marches, “I am free! I forgot what it means to fear” rallies for freedom of the press (2005–2006 and 2008), Vladivostok mass protests (2008—2010), Kaliningrad mass protests (2009—2010), Day of Wrath (Left Front actions) (2009–2011), Putin. Results and Putin.Corruption campaign, Putin must go campaign, Strategy-31 (for freedom of assembly) (2009–), etc.”

From a protest in Dec. 2011:

“The Interior Ministry estimated that at least 28,000 people had turned up,[3] whilst some in the opposition claimed 120,000 protesters were in Moscow. Reporters of the Moscow Times said the figure was well above the 30,000 to 60,000 at the previous event and that there were about 80,000 protesters who came to this rally.[4] The infographics from RIA Novosti shows that the Sakharov Avenue can provide room for a maximum of 96,000 people at a density of 35 people per 10 sq m, or for 55,000 people at a smaller and more realistic density distribution.

Starting from 10 December all major Russian TV channels extensively reported on protests, and the leaders and participants of anti-government protests were invited to speak on TV on a number of occasions

            6 May 2013

On 6 May 2013 a mass rally took place in Moscow. Among featured speakers were Boris Nemtsov andAleksei Navalny.[141] Opposition leaders put the number of attendants at up to 50,000, though police stated 7,000 took part.[142]

            18 July 2013

On 18 July 2013 Aleksei Navalny was sentenced to five years in prison for embezzlement.[143][144][145] After the verdict was read, thousands gathered in Moscow’s Manezhnaya Square to protest it.” Wikipedia with primary sources.

In the US, the media basically ignored the protests of millions (including hundreds of thousands in NYC) against invading Iraq, as well as the 35 million worldwide who protested.

The Occupy protests were marked by media demonization, police brutality, and agent provocateurs.

Protests in Ferguson were met with a militarized police with combat weapons and even brutality towards the media.

Gitmo has prisoners who have been locked up over 12 years without any charges being filed or trials held.

US population is the most incarcerated than any other nation, including Russia, China, Iran, etc. About half of prisoners have committed non-violent crimes with no victims. Blacks are incarcerated for the same “crimes” at 3 times the rate of whites.

The US Congress has funded anti-government campaigns in a dozen countries including the violent overthrow of the elected govt of Ukraine, the Arab Spring protests, protests in Syria,Hong Kong, and Russia!

Imagine if Russia funded protests in the US against the government!

            “August 19, 2015 5:10 pm

China and Russia are cracking down on civil society groups that receive funding from the United States and other countriesOne prominent group targeted by the Kremlin is the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), a U.S. organization that is mostly funded by Congress and has allocated millions to Russian NGOs in recent years. – See more at: http://freebeacon.com/national-security/china-russia-target-u-s-funded-civil-society-groups/#sthash.G4f4Qfeg.dpuf

Asst Secy of State Victoria Nuland stated the US had spent 5 billion to achieve regime change in Ukraine, and a leaked audio reveals her plotting with Ambassodor Pyatt to overthrow the elected government and install the fascist central banker Yats as Prime Minister. He then, prior to elections, made the idea with the IMF giving them control of the economy, including pension cuts, firing teachers, and freezing wages….austerity.

“In total, there are 93,000 media outlets in Russia, including 27,000 newspapers and magazines and 330 television channels.” The vast majority are independent, and many are harshly critical of the government. I frequently read such criticism in the Moscow Times and many others. They are NOT censored. Nor are protests prohibited.

But the US government and corporate media would like you to think they are. Meanwhile,as you state, 90% of US media is controlled by 5 corporations all of which mirror government policy in a crisis such as 9/11, Saddams WMD, or the use of CW by Syria (exposed as false flag by Hersh, who was denied a US media platform and therefore forced to publish in the UK).

So I think it is accurate to say that the censorship in Russia is overstated for propaganda effects and that Russia, despite its flawed civil rights record, is more free than every in its history.

It is also fair to say that government demonization of Russia includes the narrative that it is a dictatorship, ruled by a ruthless Putin, intent on aggression. It’s propaganda, friend; it’s part of psy ops to mask the increasing lack of freedom in the US, the censorship of the news, and the brutal treatment of protesters.

          • A cut and paste of all the protests to occur in Russia doesn’t change the fact that BY LAW Russians are not allowed to freely protest peacefully. Many who have protested without permission have been incarcerated. My statement is still completely accurate that Russians have fewer civil liberty protections than the US or west in general. It’s simply a fact. We are all headed towards the China model if people don’t wake up. China didn’t institute its ORWELLIAN Social Credit Score Tracking System for any other reason than to control the masses and guess what the CEO of the FICO system is hinting at??? No surprise because a good student of history knows the Trilateralists under Brzezinski’s leadership spearheaded rise of the China NWO model Technocracy. All the baloney about Russia and China putting the screws on their citizens to protect them from western propaganda is an absurd rationalization, but the naive and dumbed down sheep accept any thing they are told if they like the spin. You ignore human nature.

        • It’s not true that Russia is more free and democratic than any time in its history. After the Russian Constitution was adopted in 1993 ensuring free assembly, dissent, and free press, those rights were exercised. Dawisha explained how Putin systematically took away these rights with journalists now fearful for their lives and peaceful protesters incarcerated or sent to psychiatric prisons. From the WP article:

” Russia’s anti-extremism legislation…was touted as a way to prevent terrorist attacks…but it has also become grist for absurd. One famous case in 2011 in the city of Tomsk put a translation and commentary of the Bhagavad Gita used by the Hare Krishnas on trial sparking protests in India. Recently, police have MINED SOCIAL MEDIA for evidence, and BLOGGERS have been TRIED for sharing online posts.”

          • What you and others on the right demean as cut and paste is regarded by scholars as providing direct sources and by journalists as citing sources instead of paraphrasing.

If I paraphrased, you could ask? What is your source. Scholarly work includes a plenitude of direct quotations and sources.

Here is a direct quotation from Wikipedia about what you call the most free and democratic time in Russian history.

“The constitutional crisis of 1993 was a political stand-off between the Russian presidentBoris Yeltsin and the Russian parliament that was resolved by using military force. The relations between the president and the parliament had been deteriorating for some time. Theconstitutional crisis reached a tipping point on September 21, 1993, when President Yeltsin aimed to dissolve the country’s legislature (the Congress of People’s Deputies and itsSupreme Soviet), although the president did not have the power to dissolve the parliament according to the constitution. Yeltsin used the results of the referendum of April 1993 to justify his actions. In response, the parliament declared that the president’s decision was null and void, impeached Yeltsin and proclaimed vice president Aleksandr Rutskoy to be acting president.

The situation deteriorated at the beginning of October. On October 3, demonstrators removed police cordons around the parliament and, urged by their leaders, took over the Mayor’s offices and tried to storm the Ostankino television centre. The army, which had initially declared its neutrality, stormed the Supreme Soviet building in the early morning hours of October 4 by Yeltsin’s order, and arrested the leaders of the resistance.

The ten-day conflict became the deadliest single event of street fighting in Moscow’s history since the revolutions of 1917.[1] According to government estimates, 187 people were killed and 437 wounded, while estimates from non-governmental sources put the death toll at as high as 2,000.”

Here is how the Guardian reported this time of maximum freedom:

            Yeltsin crushes revolt

            · Parliament taken in tank battle
            · Opposition parties and newspapers banned

President Boris Yeltsin moved swiftly last night to stamp his absolute power on Russia by suspending a range of political movements and closing opposition newspapers after the surrender of his main parliamentary opponents in the wake of the assault on the Russian White House.

Under a decree following the state of emergency that Mr Yeltsin imposed on Sunday, the National Salvation Front, the Russian Communist Party, the United Front of Workers and the Union of Officers were banned, while Pravda, the former organ of the SovietCommunist Party, and a number of other papers were told to cease publication

With elections promised in December for a new bicameral parliament, the bans will severely limit the options for Russians who oppose Mr Yeltsin.” http://www.theguardian.com/world/1993/oct/05/russia.davidhearst

I remember watching on tv as Yeltsin used tanks to shell the Parliament building because they rejected his unconstitutional demand that they be dissolved.

I find you choice of “greatest freedom” and free speech, etc of 1993 hilarious since in that year, Parliament was attacked by tanks, the media was shut down, rival political parties were banned and Russia was placed under martial law, a virtual dictatorship.

It is clear by now that you don’t know what you are talking about. I suggest we end our discussion, since you have now totally made a fool of yourself by choosing as a time more free than contemporary Russia the period in which Yeltsin declared himself dictator and crushed civil rights.

The Guardian summarizes: “Mr Yeltsin clearly wanted to send a powerful signal to the army that political activity was forbidden.”

The US government defended Yeltsin’s crushing of civil rights.

Underlying the end of freedom in Russia was the catastrophic economic results of Yeltsin’s “market reforms.”

“Yeltsin’s economic reform program took effect on January 2, 1992.[2] Soon afterward prices skyrocketed, government spending was slashed, and heavy new taxes went into effect. A deep credit crunch shut down many industries and brought about a protracted depression.” The GDP fell by 40% and per capita reached a level much lower than under the previous Communist government, at 2K per year. Today, after 14 years of Putin’s leadership, the per capita income is over 14K,and in 2012, for the first time in Russian history, Russia was ranked as a “high income nation.”

Russia today is richer and more democratic at any time in its history. No parties have been banned, no shells have ripped holes in Parliament, large protests take place regularly, and thousands of independent media operate without censorship.

Thank you for the chuckles. Our discussion is ended. I suggest in the future you do some research and provide documentation for your claims, which, in your uneducated terms, you refer to as cut and paste.

          • You play the faux right vs. left card. As a political scientist, you pretend that you know nothing of the plans for world government, doing your own version of SPLC limited hangouts. When confronted with evil acts of the most reprehensible nature (false flag attacks) you say “Well, he’s not a saint…” rationalizing the worst form of government tyranny. You attack vaccine and geonengineering critics falsely portraying them as ignorant and delusional. When you want to stroke some elitist ego, you get into tacky name calling exchanges with the lowest common denominator commenters to reinforce the world view you have that humans are so base we must all be monitored and tracked in the scientific world government dictatorship. You never bother to use your education to enlighten the masses about encroaching tyranny under Bankster run Technocracy, preferring to work disinfo spin.

          • Instead of dealing with issues, sharing information, you make accusations. The plans for world government are a natural extension of the globalization of the ruling class. Limited hangouts is a concept that be used to smear any legitimate protest.

When I say Putin is not a saint,I mean like most leaders, not all his actions are admirable. This is not rationalizaiton but making meaningful comparisons.

I think vaccines should be safe. I oppose mercury as a preservative. It is,however,an undeniable fact that vaccinations have saved millions of lives.

I think chemtrails are an urban legend, probably promoted by the same cynical fossil fuel oligarchs who have funded the propaganda campaign against the overwhelming consensus of actual climate scientists. I know of no atmospheric scientists, with peer-reviewed research on the top, who accept chemtrail theory.

I spent much of my life as a teacher of the learning disabled and at risk kids. I am not in a position to enlighten the masses, but I have provided tons of information to YOU, which you have ignored preferring to argue and accuse rather than learn and share.

I am totally bored with you. Please don’t continue.

          • You say you will stop commenting and then reply again. A leader directing false flag attacks against his own country is much worse than “not being a saint”. I read your replies but you lecture and overwhelm rather than seek a meeting of the minds. I am reviewing the Russia aspect more thoroughly as a result. It seems you can’t see the forest for the trees. You say you are bored, then don’t continue here. You are often disingenuous and I have observed your rude name calling on a number of occasions. There are websites that are a much better fit for your world view.

          • Good bye, blue. I am too courteous not to reply but I am really bored with you. Please do not address me again.

          • Ditto. I was bored with you the first time I saw your posts harassing geoengineering and climate change skeptics. Good bye and good luck finding another place to vent.

          • Now you are harassing.

          • HOW sad you see a factual, documented presentation as venting.
I will continue on activist post.

  3. Will the Establishment eventually reveal to the world the truth behind JFK, 9/11, OKC, Boston, Gladio, large scale Russian FSB (KGB) false flag apartment bombings, etc.? Maybe.

The plan is to dismantle ALL nation states so why not allow the plebs to lose faith in their countries? Why else this summer did the Wall Street Journal float the notion of the US fracturing into smaller units? In June, the Rothschild owned Economist publish a long analysis on the economic and politically fragile nature of Russia and its inevitable break up. (Russia’s economy is ranked behind Spain and economists have estimated at current spending levels Russia will run out of reserves by 2016, and it gets worse.) Similar elite publications forecast the same for China. The disintegration of nations also explains why TPTB engineered an exaggerated conflict to break up Ukraine, have done everything possible to assure the breakup of Iraq into sectarian regions, and have destabilized nations surrounding the Kurds – 10 years ago you only had to look at TPTB’s New Middle East project map to see what was coming; the middle east GCC regional government was formed in 2011 molded after UN mandates and Agenda 21 planning.

    • Since Putin was first elected in 2000, Russia has tripled its GDP (making the recent externally engineered drop of 5% a drop in the bucket) and doubled wages. In the mid 90’s, per capita income (caused by the disaster of “free market reform/privatization”) dropped to 2K, lower than under Communism. Today, adjusted for inflation the per capita income is over 14K.

The Russian debt (compared to 80% in the EU, far higher in nations like
Spain or Greece or the US) is about 16%.

It is indisputable that Russia has never been more prosperous and more democratic.

With 85% public support, the claim that the Russian government is fragile is laughable. The support for the US Congress is 10%,for the President 45%.

The collapse of Russia is a propaganda narrative intended to both mask the collapse of public support and economic progress in the West and to undermine (unsuccessfully) the factual narrative that Russia’s economy is stronger than ever, even expected to return to positive growth next year.

Putin’s international leadership on Syria and Iran also puts the hypocrisy of Western leaders to shame, which is why they promote propaganda to demonize him and create the illusion that Russia’s economy is “in tatters (Obama).”

      • Russian scholar Karen Dawishal, author of the recent book Putin’s Kleptocracy; Who Owns Russia, describes the Russian political and economic system as highly crony and mafia in nature (systemically more corrupt and totalitarian than the west), a tight “vertical of power” structure that has increasingly centralized its power. Putin’s daughter married into a billionaire fortune connected to Russia’s banking system. Russia’s plutocrats (the Princes) are scions of communist revolutionary elites mirroring China’s billionaire elites offspring of the Eight Immortals. Russia’s 80 bbl in proven oil reserves are modest compared to Saudi’s 268 bbl, OPEC at 1100-1200 bbl, with world total est. 1480 bbl. When UN 2030 Agenda mandates are implemented in the near future, which Russia has signed on to, oil revenues are expected to decline which will be particularly hard on nations such as Russia and Saudi Arabia highly dependent on oil revenue, explaining why Forbes reported in 2009 at a UN conference on global green house gases the Saudis asked for assurance of financial assistance when their revenue source will be sharply curtailed by 2030.

        • Kawishal is not a Russian scholar (she was born in Colorado) but a writer whose book Kleptocracy was rejected by her publisher in the UK because its controversial claims were not backed by hard evidence. She is supported by the New World Order, having received grants from the MacArthur Foundation, the Council on Foreign Relations, the British Council, and the Rockefeller Foundation.

The Macarthur Foundation was founded by a conservative banker. Their choice of “genius” to fund have been criticized by both left (Chomsky) and right (Trump and George Will). The latest snub was to leading public intellectual Steven Clifford, who in the past year published 12 best-selling books, including major exposes.

“. Phyllis Fletcher, Professor of Media Studies at the University of Wisconsin. “Clifford is a national hero for revealing that outsize CEO pay was interfering with CIA recruitment of Syrian rebels.” Noting that the United States had spent $500 million to recruit, train and deploy seven rebel fighters, Clifford charged that potential recruits were asking why be a soldier for $70 million when they could be a CEO and make over $100 million.”

The CFR, of course, is a central organization of the global ruling class, and the Ford Foundation. ratical.org documents how the Ford Foundation has been a cover for CIA operations.

“The CIA uses philanthropic foundations as the most effective conduit to channel large sums of money to Agency projects without alerting the recipients to their source. From the early 1950s to the present the CIA’s intrusion into the foundation field was and is huge. A U.S. Congressional investigation in 1976 revealed that nearly 50% of the 700 grants in the field of international activities by the principal foundations were funded by the CIA (Who Paid the Piper? The CIA and the Cultural Cold War, Frances Stonor Saunders, Granta Books, 1999, pp. 134-135). The CIA considers foundations such as Ford “The best and most plausible kind of funding cover” (Ibid, p. 135). The collaboration of respectable and prestigious foundations, according to one former CIA operative, allowed the Agency to fund “a seemingly limitless range of covert action programs affecting youth groups, labor unions, universities, publishing houses and other private institutions” (p. 135). The latter included “human rights” groups beginning in the 1950s to the present. One of the most important “private foundations” collaborating with the CIA over a significant span of time in major projects in the cultural Cold War is the Ford Foundation.”

The book Kleptocracy is part of the neo-con/CIA propaganda campaign to demonize Putin. The facts show that since he was elected, oligarchs have been jailed, the GDP has tripled, wages have doubled, and Russia has more freedom and democracy than every in its history.

A recent study demonstrated that the US is an oligarchy, and all oligarchies are kleptocracy. The author provides no hard evidence of claims about Putin’s corruption and might be more productive exposing the kleptocracy of her own country.

Demonizing Putin is part of the State Dept/CIA propaganda campaign. The author serves her master well.

          • Dawisha is a longtime scholar on Russian affairs having written a number of detailed research books. Her publisher describes her as a Russian scholar, you may not agree but the description is not fraudulent. I know very well the foundations that backed the publication of her book. I also know there is much to what she says that is simply fact. Knowing the bias is important, deftly sorting the wheat from the chaff takes practice and focus – the alt media gleans most of its articles from the MSM, same masters The stage for the transformation in Russia that Dawisha wrote about was carefully explored by Anne Williamson who testified to Congress about the international elites (under the Clintons) plundering Russia aided by Russian elites and the KGB, Williamson wrote the book Contagion and is a highly respected journalist was based in Russia for many years.

        • AGenda 21 proposals are NOT mandates. That is a naked lie; Agenda 21 proposals are non-binding and voluntary.

Russia has the largest natural gas reserves in the world, 6 times more than Saudi Arabia, a critical fact you deliberately fail to mention.

Russia has more than 1/4 of all the world’s proven gas reserves. Next is their ally Iran, with 1/5 the world’s reserves, 4 times more than Saudi Arabia.

So as oil revenues decline (your speculation, unlikely given increasing demand and the fact that SA cannot conduct a price war much longer, since they are using up their surpluses fast and risk social upheaval when they must cut back spending), Russia will be much better off than Saudi Arabia for 2 strong reasons:
          1. Putin has 85% public support; SA is vulnerable to revolt.
          2. Russia has the largest gas reserves, 6 times more than SA.
          3. Unlike Saudi Arabia, which is purely a gas station, Russia has a much more diversified economy. Oil and gas provide 16% of Russian GDP while SA depends on it for 50% of GDP.

I find you ignorant of the facts and consequently drawing false conclusions, anchored by a piece of CIA sponsored propaganda attempting to smear the most successful and popular leader in the world.

          • Operation Mockingbird was not an “official” mandate, that didn’t stop the Kleptocrat psychopaths from FULLY taking over the media, now owned by 5 or 6 minion corporations. Iran signed onto 2030 Agenda last month, and they were subsumed by IMF and World bank dictates after the Iran-Iraq war. I’m sure Bush II had very high approval ratings too after 9/11, the masses are easily seduced by nationalist fervor.

          • Oops, you ignored the series of 1999 FSB FALSE FLAG ATTACKS UNDER PUTIN’S REIGN OF THE FSB, done to rationalize bombing the Chechens. That’s just a immoral as the Coalition Of The Damned bombing Syria, or before that Afghanistan and Iraq.

Recap: When FSB three agents were caught attempting to plant a bomb in an apartment complex the Russian state media tried to spin it as terrorists caught in the act, when that story stunk to high heaven, then the Russian government said IT WAS JUST A DRILL, but the bomb inspector determined the bombs were real and set to blow.

Down the memory hole like the two MI6 Brits caught in Iraq.

          • You could say in any post that 99.99999 of history is ignored.
My point is not that Putin is a saint but that he has been a successful leader whose support by the public was earned by the rise in the standard of living.

In Russia, since 2000, wages have doubled; in the US, the median wage has declined by 15%.

My point was to correct your false assessment of Russia’s economic resources, since you totally ignored that they have over 25% of the world’s reserves of natural gas, a very low national debt, and a GDP which, even with the externally engineered contraction, has tripled since Putin was elected. This does not mean he is a saint but explains why he has such robust support and why Russia is in a very strong position both economically and politically.

There is doubt that Russia is richer and more democratic ever in its history. That’ my point, and I think you have yet to digest it.

          • You are confusing me with another commenter, I have never said >99% of history is ignored. There is a reason patterns of behavior are important in criminal investigations and prosecutions. The same is true for institutions. If the main powers controlling a government abuse their authority and violate the rule of law, believing they are above the law and the end justifies the means, then we can reasonably know what path they are likely to take. It’s human nature. I know about the natural gas equation, I also have an understanding of the nature of the new world government system and what is apparently intended for the global economy.

          • No, in response to my post about how Agenda 21 is voluntary and non-binding,the funding of the anti-Putin author by CIA funded organizations, and the natural gas assets of Russia, you responded with “Oops, you ignored the series of 1999 FSB FALSE FLAG ATTACKS UNDER PUTIN’S REIGN OF THE FSB….”

and I responded that in my discussion, totally unrelated to the 1999 events, that any post would, of necessity, ignore 99.9999% of history.

Russia,if anything, is part of the antidote to a new corporate world government, since its major sin is to be independent and align with other nations independent of US hegemony and NATO dominance.

Any nation which does not obey Washington or come under the control of the IMF or World bank (ie maintain its independence) becomes the enemy: Russia, Libya, Iran….all steered an independent course and did not fall prey to the banks. This is their crime and why they have been demonized and attacked, economically if not militarily.

          • Russia is not independent from the dominant paradigm. BRICS and the recent history of Russia is tied to IMF and BIS, also tethered to the UN, economic interdependence with the west, adopting the globalist neoliberal economic model with privatization consultations from none other than top international bankster henchman Larry Summers, Kissinger an adviser to Putin, and yes Agenda 21, Smart Grid, Smart Cities, and 2030 Agenda. Iran and Syria are in the fold too.

          • blue, Russia is the enemy of the dominant paradigm, which includes the hegemony of the US militarily and of Western banks like the IMF financially.

“Russia is creating a $100 billion rival to the IMF…..

Russian President Vladimir Putin ratified an accord Saturday to set up a $100 billion reserve fund for the so-called BRICS — the leading emerging economies Russia, China, Brazil, India, and South Africa.

Moscow is expected to contribute $18 billion to the reserve, well behind the $41 billion China has promised to pour into the fund, which was set up after an agreement signed in July in Brazil.

The emerging economies also plan to form their own international bank based in Shanghai to challenge western dominance over international money markets.” businessinsider.com

This challenge to Western military and financial dominance is WHY Russia is being demonized as “the enemy,” along with its allies like Iran, China, and Syria, which also have rejected US hegemony and IMF/World Bank control.

KIssinger has met with Putin (and all other world leaders) but he is not “an advisor.” “Instead of trying to break Russia, Kissinger believes America’s goal should be to “integrate” Russia into the international order in a way that takes Moscow’s interests into account.” nationalintgerest.org.

Under Putin, the rule of oligarchs, enabled with Yeltsin’s privatization (designed by conservative Harvard economists)has been curtailed.

Wikipedia summarizes the rise of the oligarchs:

” The so-called voucher-privatization program enabled a handful of young men to become billionaires, specifically by arbitraging the vast difference between old domestic prices for Russian commodities (e.g. gas, oil) and the prices prevailing on the world market. Because they stashed billions of dollars in private Swiss bank accounts rather than investing in the Russian economy, they were dubbed[by whom?] “kleptocrats”.[2] These oligarchs became extremely unpopular with the Russian public, and are commonly thought[by whom?] of as the cause of much of the turmoil that plagued the country following the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.[3][4] The Guardian described the oligarchs as “about as popular with your average Russian as a man idly burning bundles of £50s outside an orphanage

During Putin’s presidency, a number of oligarchs came under fire for various illegal activities, and many were jailed while others fled the country.

An objective measure of the dominance of an oligarch class is the Gini coefficient, which measures inequality. In fact, both Russia the US have the same score(41). During the 90’s, the
Gini for Russia was 48, so it has become more equal in incomes, an objective measure of a reduction in oligarchy.

I find your view confused and wrong. I note you rarely document your claims, as I do consistently. I also suspect you ignore any facts which contradict your beliefs and throw out unsupported links and claims like a popcorn maker.

            “.

          • Russian wealth inequality is the highest in the world, so high analysts have said it “deserves to be in its own special category”. Corruption costs Russia “between $300 billion and $500 billion each year. With a GDP of about $1.5 trillion, that represents roughly a third of Russia’s economy.” The BRICS are tied to IMF and BIS. Activist Post contributors have made many of these connections in posted articles including Brandon Smith, James Corbett, and the blogger Rusticus. You can cut and paste all night Dale, but I have to do things like sleep!

      • Western leaders have always been lying hypocrites. The few that weren’t were tossed out of office or “Wellstoned”. Putin’s FSB staged a series of apartment bombing falsely blaming Chechens to rationalize bombing them. Three FSB agents were caught in the act. At first the Russian state press tried to spin the incident as being one where real terrorists were caught in the act. When that didn’t fly, they said it was only A DRILL. This was 1999, before 9/11. Wonder where the FSB got the idea?

  4. One thing is certain, the world won’t be told the truth of the long history of the international banksters engineering wars and conflicts for centuries, funding both sides, and that they own and control the new system the masses will clamor for, some will even beg for like the climate change protesters who blind themselves to the chemtrails overhead. We are a screwed up species.

Karl Rove on the elites’ mindset: “when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do”

    • Ford factories and US banks made huge profit out of Hitler’s madness.

30 000 000 Russians died for liberty while Americans made profit on WWII… only at the end of the war, when Russians arrived in Berlin, Americans sent innocent 18 years old “men” in Normandie to die in masses and make illusion that the US is on the right side!

The real human history starts at The Balkans – google: “vinca culture” !

First writings symbols that are still in use in Serbian Cyrillics are 10 000 years old and found in Vinca symbols, 80 km from Belgrade, Serbia !
Google : “Paleolithics Serbian genes ” and lean that all peoples descend from Serbs !

      • Yes, the WWII death toll was horrific and Russia lost the most. Americans lost 400,000 soldiers and a great number came back maimed and traumatized, including many men in my extended family line. It’s STAGGERING to consider how much the bankster engineered wars have set back civilization and destroyed resources that could have been used to raise people up. The world lost officially 60 to 80 million but MANY more perished through disease and famine with countless lives shattered. The American civil war was horrific, especially for the south and the lie continues that the war was fought to free the slaves. Are you aware of the mass scale genocide in the Ukraine known in English as the Holodomor? As many as 10 million needlessly died when Stalin imposed an artificial famine. As a bankster puppet, Stalin was a brutal evil psychopath. There’s a term “Ponerology”, rule by psychopaths, and it’s a reasonable supposition that TPTB find and groom psychopaths to rule nations, some books have explored the idea…

        ponerology.com/psychopaths_3.html
        holodomorct.org/history.html

Much thanks, Gift Economy, for the tip on Vinca Culture. I scanned some information and it looks fascinating, a very impressive old civilization. Some of my spouse’s family members immigrated to the US from your homeland. They are highly educated (physicians, professors, etc.), good people, unfortunately though they are not “awake” yet. It’s the trap of a comfortable lifestyle and, especially, the nonstop propaganda. I will learn all I can about the Serbs, thank you. Peace and best regards.

  5. The three industries which profit from (and promote) war are: banks, which finance war, energy, which fuels wars, and the weapons makers who provide the instruments of destruction.

The ISIS pipeline, which has been protected by the US and Turkey and NATO, clearly shows the conspiracy by all 3 industries to promote war. The banks launder the money from oil smuggling, and all 3 profit from the continuation of war (supplying funding, oil,and weapons to the Western powers fighting the Assad regime) that is enabled by the existence of ISIS.

Russian action has exposed this conspiracy to promote endless war and profits.

    • War is a tool for control. Profit and power is the incentive for minions.

If profit was the only factor, why did the western bankers and their stooges support the rise of communism in China and Russia? No profit there. And why is their new system designed to destroy capitalism, to be replaced by Technocracy, where the elites control all of the worlds’ resources. At the end of the day, it’s about controlling resources which means controlling people. The old concepts of profit in the traditional sense would be obsolete.

The limited hangouts get closer to the truth yet never fully reach it.

      • I happen to agree that war is a racket. Banking support for communism was

based on the desire to control, which is required to maximize profits. There was much profit in Soviet (not Russian) communism, witness the fortune made by the father of the Koch brothers working for Stalin in the oil industry.

reformation.org reports: “The American-Russian syndicate formed in 1918 to obtain concessions in Russia was backed by the White, Guggenheim, and Sinclair interests. Directors of companies controlled by these three financiers included Thomas W. Lamont (Guaranty Trust), William Boyce Thompson (Federal Reserve Bank), and John Reed’s employer Harry Payne Whitney (Guaranty Trust). This strongly suggests that the syndicate was formed to cash in on earlier support for the Bolshevik cause in the revolutionary period. the simplest explanation of our evidence is that a syndicate of Wall Street financiers enlarged their monopoly ambitions and broadened horizons on a global scale. The gigantic Russian market was to be converted into a captive market and a technical colony to be exploited by a few high-powered American financiers and the corporations under their control…….”

There was indeed a profit motive.

I can find no evidence of Western bankers financing the Communist Revolution. Mao formed the National Bank of Chinese Soviet Republic in 1932. Perhaps you can refer me to sources which document foreign banking interests financing the Communists in China.

Technocracy is just a terminal state of capitalism, not a replacement. Today wealth is more concentrated ever in history. That is the goal and trajectory of capitalism. Soviet Communism was a form of state capitalism, another form being the current Chinese hybrid. Fascism is a late capitalist development, with corporations controlling the political process and state.
Whether the state replaces corporate control,or corporations replace state control, the result is fascist capitalism, the rule of privilege elite based on control of resources and the political process.

The UN itself is a battle ground between the democracy of the many and the power of the superpowers in the Security Counsel, which themselves are engaged in mortal combat.

Agenda 2030 is a set of goals to reduce poverty and protect the environment. Such problems as poverty induced by globalization and pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, which know no national boundaries, require international cooperation. What is evil when the global response is controlled by a small elite of wealthy corporations.

With wealth more concentrated ever in history, it is absurd to claim profit (ie accumulation of wealth) is obsolete. It has, in fact, hijacked the entire global economy.

Operation Mockingbird was exposed in the 70’s but continues internationally,in the US, in Germany, in propaganda worldwide.

As for Iranian debt to the IMF and the World Bank,I think you are confused. Iran has one of the lowest levels of national debt at 16%, 13th lowest in the world. It is no accident that the enemies of the West/Nato have been those with small debt loads and thus financial independence, including Russia, Libya, and Iran.

You are right on many issues but off base on others, creating an unstable mix. For instance, Putin’s support has been consistently strong based on the fact that under his leadership, Russia tripled its GDP and doubled wages. Unlike Bush, who had shortterm approval after 9/11 and then saw it sink into the 20’s, Putin’s support is both long term and based on objective improvements in Russia’s standard of living.

I don’t really get you, tho I agree with much you say, intermixed with stuff that doesn’t make any sense.

Ha! Putin is holding Sister Obama’s feet to the fire! Obama did nothing until The Paris attack and Russia started bombing ISIS. And to think, Obama wouldn’t hit ISIS because of “environmental damage.” If that is the case, why does he and his wife take separate aircraft to various places far away? People still support Obama and they are fools, he is taking us all on a lonely walk through a dark alley.

“Control thy passions. The joys afforded by the senses are like wombs of future sufferings. Not only do good, but be good. Let the motive be in the action, not in its fruits. Adandon the fruits of thy works, but let each action be as an offering to the Supreme being. The man who sacrifices his desire and works to the Being (whence proceed the beginnings of all things) and by whom the universe has been formed, attains to perfection by this sacrifice.”

he will come to save you.”

“The principle of true religion is clearly expressed in the Gospel by the words: ‘Do unto others as thou wouldst wish that others would do unto thee.’ This is the whole law and the prophets. If this principle were recognized as the chief religious principle by all men, then egotism, which is the readiness to sacrifice one’s neighbor’s welfare to attain one’s own ends, would disappear of itself.”
