Another ‘G Something’ Summit is happening, this time in a remote citadel in Bavaria, Germany – and nothing has really changed.
Another year and the same stuffy, elitist global government ‘working group’, with the same foundation and NGO-funded controlled left-wing opposition groups ‘protesting’ outside with the usual headline-grabbing banner issues like “improving our climate”, “stop capitalism”, or “social justice”. Meanwhile, smart-suit wearing Mandarins and technocrats are necking down Hors d’oeuvres inside the confab, while punting around equally meaningless platitudes like “tackling corruption”, “reforming immigration” and “countering terrorism”. It all sounds exciting and noble, but how useful is it? Meanwhile, real transnational corporate power-grabs are taking place behind closed doors with the TPP and the TTIP takeover ‘treaties’.
