How Can We Trust U.S. Government Scientists with Pathogens?

If readers haven’t heard, there’s been a series of terrible mistakes by government scientists in handling deadly organisms at U.S. government-run labs. Recently, operations were shut down at two government research labs because of mistakes! Were they really mistakes or possibly part of an experiment to find out what would happen to the release of deadly organisms into the biosphere?

It’s incomprehensible that scientists dealing with deadly organisms would be lax on so many occasions. However, if that be the case, then that indicates the serious need for questioning the efficacy of scientific research and the caliber of scientists the U.S. government employs along with their resultant research findings, in my opinion.

According to ABC World News, the U.S. CDC’s bioterrorism and flu lab was shut down after a frightening mistake. What happened? The deadly H5N1 bird flu apparently was shipped by mistake to another lab, which put other scientists at risk. How about the general public being put at risk during transit and transportation of H5N1 samples? That could have been a convenient way for a pandemic to start, as they apparently are itching to see a pandemic happen, since the 2009 H1N1 obviously-contrived pandemic they prepared for failed because the pandemic never panned out.

Furthermore, the patent for the H1N1 was filed much earlier than the virus appeared. See the US Patent office link HERE to see that patent. 

And yes the the [sic] Swine Flu virus H1N1 is listed “with many others” as copied from the Patent Application here at: [0056] “A vaccine can be used e.g. for an injection as a prophylactic means against a virus associated disease. In particular preferred embodiments the composition or vaccine comprises more than one antigen, e.g. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8, in particular of different virus strains, subtypes or types such as influenza A and influenza B, in particular selected from of one or more of the human H1N1, H2N2, H3N2, H5N1, H7N7, H1N2, H9N2, H7N2, H7N3, H10N7 subtypes, of the pig flu H1N1, H1N2, H3N1 and H3N2 subtypes, of the dog or horse flu H7N7, H3N8 subtypes or of the avian H5N1, H7N2, H1N7, H7N3, H13N6, H5N9, H11N6, H3N8, H9N2, H5N2, H4N8, H10N7, H2N2, H8N4, H14N5, H6N5, H12N5 subtypes. ” [6]

Getting back to government laboratory mistakes, The New York Times commented that

The accidents, and the C.D.C.’s emphatic response to them, could have important consequences for the many laboratories that store high-risk agents and the few that, even more controversially, specialize in making them more dangerous for research purposes. [1] [CJF emphasis added. Therein lies the problem: science tinkering with making pathogens more virulent.]

In another episode June 5, 2014, according to The New York Times, 75 scientists may have been exposed to live anthrax bacteria. [2] Notation ought to be made that anthrax can kill anyone who inhales it.

Add to the above that six vials of smallpox stored in the National Institutes of Health laboratory since 1954 containing live viruses were found recently. Note, however, those specimen will be destroyed as soon as the genomes in the viruses can be sequenced. Frankenstein at work again?

What Hitler’s much-maligned scientists probably were dabbling in, apparently now takes place as normal, routine U.S.-government-sponsored, tax-payer-funded, genetic science.

There is valid concern regarding safety procedures in relation to biohazards and their research. One concerned professional is Dr. William Shaffner, head of preventive medicine at Vanderbilt University’s school of medicine, who thinks shipping dangerous research specimens should be stopped until safety procedures are reviewed. I couldn’t agree more, as I think it’s only a matter of time before there is an unfortunate but convenient accident to start a pandemic.

What’s involved in all these deadly pathogens is something called “gain-of-function” (GOF) research, which is defined as “scientific experiments that alter pathogens in ways that give them features or functions not presently found in the wild.” [3] [Isn’t that interesting?]

According to Arms Control Law,

Critics of the H5N1 GOF research worried about a number of problems, including whether (1) biosafety conditions in laboratories would be adequate to prevent accidents that could cause outbreaks, and (2) such experiments could threaten biosecurity by providing states, terrorists, or criminals with “blueprints” for making biological weapons. The controversy led to delayed publication of the H5N1 GOF research results, a voluntary moratorium on GOF research, and the development by the U.S. government of new, stricter rules and oversight processes for GOF research it funds. [3]

The biosafety threat is very real and more probable than imagined since it can happen any time in any given U.S. government lab where mistakes occur. And, mistakes have been happening with greater frequency, it seems. Why?

In May 2014 another lab accident was discovered when a less dangerous H9N2 bird flu shipment was contaminated with the problematic H5N1 bird flu strain.

Dr. Thomas Frieden, Director of the CDC, says, “The culture of safety needs to improve at some C.D.C. laboratories.” [1] Just some labs, Dr. Frieden? How about improving safety at all labs taking part in gain-of-function and vaccine research.

Adding to all the above, CBS Evening News reported that for a third time in a month deadly pathogens had been handled incorrectly in government labs! The USA is not unique. In Brazil, a poliovirus was found in sewage. [5]

In this writer’s opinion, the above biosafety issues are indicative of bigger problems than science and the CDC apparently realize, and which need to be ferreted out quickly before a truly catastrophic event occurs. Or, perhaps, genetic engineering may wind up like nuclear fission with problems that the planet and its occupants are forced to live with. The genie got out of the bottle; it cannot be handled safely; and must be ‘secured’ for hundreds of thousands of years. It’s called nuclear waste and science continues to make more while not disposing of inordinate amounts in rusting barrels and other places. The oceans should not be nuclear waste dumping grounds!

Of course an effort is made to reduce nuclear wastes. Depleted uranium (DU) is used in bombs, guided missiles, and weapons sent into countries like Iraq and Afghanistan and Libya. However, our military personnel fighting on our behalf also are exposed to DU, which probably contributes to their post-military-service health problems. Consider what happened to sailors on the USS Ronald Reagan stationed in the Pacific Ocean off Japan after March 11, 2011 when Fukushima experienced its meltdowns. (Source)

What you can do to help yourself.

With all the pathogens science is bioengineering and sequencing in labs for research, medicine, warfare, and chemtrails, it ought to be incumbent upon everyone to take seriously the need to improve one’s immune system to optimum levels. Why? Those who have optimally-functioning immune systems probably will be able to not succumb to many of the pathogens that now live in or threaten our environment.

Key factors for improving your immune system include: reduce and/or negate stress levels; improve dietary nutrition to include organically-grown foods with more and higher antioxidant fruits and vegetables; eliminate GMOs from the diet. Most processed foods contain some form of GMO, i.e., corn, soy, cottonseed and canola oils, while food processing ingredients are bound to GM-corn and soy. Most distilled white vinegar is produced from bt-corn [4] and is a key ingredient in most salad dressings you drench on your salad. Consider taking some extra vitamin C via supplementation. A non-acidic form of vitamin C will allow you to take more daily without experiencing gastrointestinal distress. Several herbs such as Astragalus, Echinacea, and Garlic are efficient in improving immune function. Probably the most important supplement you can take for improved immunity is a probiotic with a high population of lactobacilli, which you must keep refrigerated. As long as government agencies and scientists keep playing around with ‘improving’ deadly pathogens, we and our immune systems need to be one step ahead of them because we don’t know when a pandemic will be left loose either by accident or otherwise.
