Here Comes The Sun A Little Early

“Remember 1999, the good old days, when the darkest cloud on the horizon was Y2K? Before the tech bubble bust and recession, 911, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and Katrina? Since the first decade of the 2000 opened, it’s been one mess after another with hardly a year off between calamities,” writes Eric Janszen. “Except for a hiccup or two in Europe, a few noisy students complaining about bailouts for bankers and austerity for everyone else, 2010 was a fine year. A breather. A respite. A year off in wine country away from the hurly-burly. 2011 is back to the reality.”

If you speak to a Russian after last summer’s fires and many other people around the world facing hardship, then Janszen’s words start looking way off base but he does make a point. Last year was a time out from the stupendous crisis of 2008 and 2009 that almost had the world’s financial system go into meltdown. But now the global economy is in crisis again and it’s now looking certain that a catastrophic economic breakdown is unavoidable. And we have had the first government topple in 2011 in Tunisia, now the Irish, in Lebanon and let’s see how many others fall in its wake this year.

There is a lot of information (except in the mainstream press of course) about 2012 and the end of the Mayan Calendar that many are obsessing over but there is more than enough in 2011 to worry about and act on. Last week I was knocked off my chair with the report from the Arctic Circle in Greenland that the sun came back over the horizon two days early. That’s no small occurrence, is not something easy to make up, is not being reported as expected in the mainstream press, and only wild and stupid theories like global warming (since we really have rapid cooling) are being blamed for the event.

This was not intended to be the focus of today’s post but I found it interesting that I received this news only hours after finishing the Sanctuary site for my project in Brazil last week. Seemed like a strong message and now a week after the initial publication of this news, and its replication on hundreds of sites including the Huffington Post, we see no retraction, no government or person in the world disputing the fact that the sun did arrive early.

There are many stories that are just disappearing off the radar and one of the greatest ones is the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster. Everything is fine down there now and everyone is healthy, happy and back at the beaches as far as the government and media are concerned. It is amazing how even nightmares are wiped clean.

A very controversial publication, which I have read for years but normally take with a heavy shake or two of salt, probably nails this strange solar story on the head more than anything I’ve seen. If you follow the links presented you will become alarmed that these people seem to have a good feeling for what is possibly going on. Scroll down on the What Does It Mean site to read the essay about the strange antics of the sun.

Too bad for most of us so just suck it up and don’t worry. Just to make sure we don’t do something stupid, the new age message is: Now’s the time to concentrate on other things. Sometimes I really think these kinds of messages are psych-op operations (see linked video) that draw in the gullible to sit like sitting ducks until the end or until the “new beginning” arrives. Or perhaps it is just the ravings of those who meditate on their navels or their third eyes 16 hours a day, though for sure I have nothing against meditation.

This linked video left me with a queasy feeling that lingered. I have to admit it is a tough call for everyone these days knowing what to do or how to respond to the intense changes and threats since so few of us are in a position to do anything about the world situation or even our own personal one. Most of us who are better off want life to just continue on as it has been but the cards are stacked increasingly against that likelihood.

Behind the Door Something is Always Happening

It is truly amazing what is being left out of the American mainstream news. Britain’s most senior accident and emergency doctor told The Sunday Telegraph that four weeks of intense pressures had left casualty departments “overwhelmed” with patients. He said desperately sick people had been left for hours waiting on trolleys, with even those requiring intensive care enduring long delays. Dozens of National Health Service units in Britain have cancelled surgeries and closed clinics for outpatients. At least 10 major centers issued “black alerts”—the highest emergency warning—meaning they were at breaking point. I share this as just one example of how all hell can be breaking loose and we don’t even hear about it.

The Global Europe Anticipation Bulletin highlights how fragile our civilization and governments are. “ The first path that the crisis can take to cause world chaos is simply a violent and unpredictable shock. The dilapidated state of the international system is now so advanced that its cohesion is at the mercy of any large-scale disaster. Just look at the inability of the international community to effectively help Haiti over the past year, the United States to rebuild New Orleans for six years, the United Nations to resolve the problems in Darfur, Côte d’Ivoire for a decade, the United States to progress peace in the Middle East, NATO to beat the Taliban in Afghanistan, the Security Council to control the Korean and Iranian issues, the West to stabilize Lebanon, the G20 to end the global crisis be it financial, food, economic, social, monetary, … to see that over the whole range of climatic and humanitarian disasters, like economic and social crises, the international system is now powerless.”
