New Campaign Exposes Hypocrite Nanny Bloomberg’s Anti-Gun Agenda

Lily Dane
Activist Post

Earlier this year, elitist hypocrite Nanny Michael Bloomberg started a $50 MILLION gun control group called Everytown for Gun Safety.

Recently, his group produced two television commercials featuring testimony from two men who lost family members to gun violence. Anyone with a heart would sympathize with the victims and their families, and Bloomberg and his comrades know it. The ad campaign employs sneaky tactics and faulty logic to evoke emotion in the viewer.

Now the National Rifle Association is firing back with a round of ads of their own.

Here’s the first one:

Cody Wilson: Modern Democracy is Derailed Train, Retrograde Abuses of Liberty

Activist Post

RT talks to Cody Wilson, the creator of the 3D-printed firearm dubbed “The Liberator”.

When asked why he supports decentralized power after all the "progress" society has made from tribal societies to federal power, Wilson responds:
I'm seeing nothing but, from my perspective, a train in perpetual derailment, retrograde abuses of liberties, in that there is no concept the real human rights. It's just something we use to go like bomb Iraq, or take over a country or assert our economic dominance. I'm seeing a slide toward barbarism, not toward civilization that you're there you're implying. I'm doing everything I can to maintain a distance that separates us and keep our humanity as individuals.

Gun Control in 47 Seconds

Stefan Molyneux

If you are for gun control, then you are not against guns, because the guns will be needed to disarm people. So it's not that you are anti-gun. You'll need the police's guns to take away other people's guns. So you are very pro-gun, you just believe that only the Government (which is, of course, so reliable, honest, moral and virtuous) should be allowed to have guns. There is no such thing as gun control. There is only centralizing gun ownership in the hands of a small, political elite and their minions.

Nanny State and Police State Unite to Arrest Boy For Bringing the Word "Gun" to School

Anthony Freda Art

Thankfully, the dynamic duo of the
Police State and the Nanny State come together again to protect the American people from another dangerous terrorist. This time, the danger to society was a 16-year-old boy from Summerville, S.C. who went so far as to write a fictional statement about killing a dinosaur with a gun.

After being given an assignment to “write a few sentences about themselves” as if it were a Facebook status, Alex Stone proceeded to write a fictional story that included the words “gun” and “take care of business.”

"I killed my neighbor's pet dinosaur, and, then, in the next status I said I bought the gun to take care of the business," Stone said.

3D Printed Weapons Add Semi-Auto Pistol to Expanding Lineup

This is an update to the ongoing progress with 3D printed weapons.

Activist Post

The eyes of the world are on the innovation of
3D printing . Naturally, whenever a new technology is created that offers open-source DIY opportunities to the average individual, it is going to make governments and their protected corporate interests very nervous.

Such is the case with 3D weapons manufacturing.
Defense Distributed has led the way with their innovations, sparking others to provide their own offerings. Their progress, as well as their subsequent hindering by the US Department of Defense Trade Controls, has been documented by a series of video updates below. The latest developments include a 500-round test of the world's first 3D-printed metal gun, as well as the latest addition of a 3D printed semi-automatic pistol modeled after a Ruger 10/22 rifle. As the first video states: "If you take my gun, I'll just print another one."

The open-source nature of 3D printing is indeed poised to render anti-gun legislation obsolete. For those who believe that 3D printing can be restricted, futurist and a director of engineering at Google,
Ray Kurzweil, recently noted  that it will soon be possible to print an entire 3D printer  from  a 3D printer, at a very low cost ... globally. Then what?

Hillary on 2nd Amendment: the “viewpoint” crime

Dees Illustration
Jon Rappoport
Activist Post

After a shooting spree, they always want to take the guns away from the people who didn’t do it. I sure as hell wouldn’t want to live in a society where the only people allowed guns are the police and the military. (William Burroughs, Grand Street no. 37, 1992)

Hillary on guns at a CNN town hall meeting :

“I’m well aware that this is a hot political subject. And again, I will speak out no matter what role I find myself in. [Ahem, a role like President, or President, or possibly even President.] But I believe that we need a more thoughtful conversation. We cannot let a minority of people – and it’s, that’s what it is, it is a minority of people – hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people.”

I see. So the Viewpoint in favor of gun ownership is a hostile act. The Viewpoint itself terrorizes the population.

Could there be a more transparent illustration of political correctness?

Government Increasingly Seeks Access to Private Health Records in Gun Permit Process

Many doctors concerned about physician involvement in concealed-weapon permit process

Activist Post

A new survey of North Carolina doctors finds that many are concerned about the increasing number of requests they are receiving to assess their patients' competency to carry concealed weapons.

In particular, a majority of physicians who responded to the survey said they were worried about the potential ethical consequences in the doctor-patient relationship if they participated in the concealed-weapon permit process.

"This is not a small problem," said Dr. Adam Goldstein, corresponding author of the study and a professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. "More than 20 percent of the physicians we surveyed have been asked to sign competency permits for concealed weapons, and a majority of them do not feel they can adequately assess the physical or mental competence of their patients to safely have a concealed weapons permit."

Feinstein Introduces New Federal Bill to Confiscate Guns if Snitches Feel Unsafe

Activist Post

Two weeks after Elliot Rodger stabbed three people and shot three more, a trio of legislators from California, including Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer, have proposed a new federal law called "The Pause for Safety Act".

The law would allow anyone at any time to seek a "firearms restraining order" against an individual to prevent them from purchasing any new firearms and also to confiscate any firearms they may already own. They're so confident the law is good that states will be bribed into complying through a federal grant program.

The press release on Sen. Barbara Boxer's website says:
The Pause for Safety Act would encourage states to take the following steps to help prevent gun violence:
  • One, ensure that families and others can go to court to seek a gun violence prevention order to temporarily stop someone close to them who poses a threat to himself, herself or others from purchasing a firearm.
  • Two, ensure that a court can issue a gun violence prevention warrant that would allow law enforcement to take temporary possession of firearms that are in an individual’s possession if the court determines that the individual poses a threat to himself, herself or others.

Unanswered Questions in the Isla Vista CA Shootings

James F. Tracy
Activist Post

When mass shootings take place in the United States, corporate news media can almost uniformly be counted on to act as
stenographers to power . They dutifully report exactly what they’re told by authorities with wholehearted trust and close to no due diligence. This appears to have been the case yet again in the May 23 Isla Vista California mass murder.

The public has been propagandized with a familiar storyline that law enforcement authorities have peppered with lurid details - including a disturbing “manifesto” and YouTube soliloquy from a well-to-do yet alienated man who had trouble forging relationships, so he went on a wild shooting spree then committed suicide.

Like numerous other tragic events that cry out for heightened measures against gun ownership, such as the Tucson shooting, the Sikh Temple bloodletting, the Aurora movie theatre massacre, and the Newtown school shooting, initial eyewitness accounts of what took place differ markedly from what news media presented in subsequent reports - those laid out in law enforcement press conferences just hours after the event.

Otto von Bismarck famously remarked, “Never believe anything in politics until it has been officially denied.” In a society where the Second Amendment and gun violence have been vigorously politicized by powerful “reformists” like billionaire Michael Bloomberg, Attorney General Eric Holder, and President Barack Obama, journalists might be well-served by keeping this dictum in mind.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel to Ban Gun Shops from 99.5% of Chicago, Videotape All Sales

Melissa Melton
Activist Post

Back in January, U.S. District Judge Edmond Chang said that it is the government’s duty to protect constitutional rights in a ruling that overturned Chicago’s ban on the sale and transfer of firearms, ordinances that represented some of the toughest gun control laws in America.

Undeterred, now Mayor Rahm Emanuel is proposing a shiny new ordinance that would use special zoning rules to essentially block gun stores from operating in 99.5% of Chicago and deter any future gun businesses from opening in the scant space left.

Whatever gun shops that might try to remain in the pockets left in the South, North and West sides of town that represent the 0.5% of Chicago where the new zoning rules do not apply would have to follow a bevy of rules to not only open their doors, but to keep them open.

Hillary Clinton Calls To "Rein In" Gun Culture

Brandon Turbeville
Activist Post

By now, it is nothing more than a formality to say that Hillary Clinton is only “thinking” about running for President in 2016. In fact, Clinton’s increased visibility and speaking appearances are clearly just the amping up of her 2016 campaign.

Unfortunately, this is what makes her recent comments at the annual conference of the National Council for Behavioral Health even more concerning.

Long known for her aggressive
assault on the Second Amendment , Clinton told the audience that the United States must rein in its gun culture or the country could end up being a place where even insignificant confrontations lead to shootings.

First U.S. Smart Gun Sale Will Trigger Ban on Traditional Gun Sales in NJ

Melissa Melton
Activist Post

For many gun rights advocates, May Day was a close call for one aspect of gun control. That’s the day that “smart guns” nearly went on the market – which would have triggered a 2002 law in New Jersey requiring that ALL statewide gun sales be ‘smart guns’ within three years of the first date of sale anywhere in the United States.

That would be a critical blow to the right to bear arms in New Jersey, furthering the often absurd efforts of gun control advocates in the wake of Sandy Hook and other exploited tragedies. That’s because many in power don’t just want ‘smart guns’ to be an available option on the market, they want them to replace all other legal firearms.

A Maryland gun store owner named Andy Raymond, owner of Engage Armament, found out about the smart-sale ‘trigger’ clause the hard way, after he stocked them and announced he was set to become the first retailer in the nation of the Armatix iP1, a .22 caliber ‘smart gun’ that requires the owner to wear an RFID watch to authenticate and enable the firearm.

The Department Of (In)Justice Goes After Guns In Further Capital Controls

Jeff Berwick
Activist Post

The US government is attempting every possible angle to ensure Americans don't have access to guns.  The latest is a new twist on capital controls being instituted by the Department of (In)Justice.

The DoJ is why financial institutions are refusing services to companies as diverse as gun shops, bitcoin businesses, marijuana dispensaries and even the porn industry.

Just last week a gun shop in Florida had an old bank account closed after their local bank was bought out by Wall Street interests.

Second Amendment Victory: Georgia Governor Signs Historic Gun Rights Bill

Lily Dane
Activist Post

Georgia Governor Nathan Deal signed into law today what supporters call a historic victory for the Second Amendment.

The new law, called the “Safe Carry Protection Act”, vastly expands where guns will be allowed in the state.

As of July 1st, licensed gun owners in Georgia and visitors from 28 other states will be allowed to bring a gun into a bar without restrictions and carry a firearm into some government buildings. Under the law, school districts will be able to decide whether they want some employees to carry a firearm, and religious leaders can decide whether to allow licensed gun owners to carry guns into their church, synagogue or mosque.

A New Federal Crime Unit in Wake of Chicago Shootings

Amanda Warren
Activist Post

Chicago rides on the coattails of a created solution - a quick, crackdown on gun crime via a new special federal unit to deal with violence after this past Easter weekend's shooting spree which injured at least 35 people and killed 9, including children as young as 11 years old.

This is not an in-depth analysis of information of the new measure - perhaps you, the reader will catch more than meets the eye? A few important points arise upon the news:

Now Michael Bloomberg Is Starting a $50 Million Gun Control Group

Melissa Melton
Activist Post

(I know Bloomberg being an ass is not exactly breaking news, but bear with me, I do have a valid point.)

Michael Bloomberg, the 13th richest man in the world with a net worth of $27 billion, has a whole lot of money and a lot more free time now that he’s no longer the mayor of New York.

Apparently he plans to spend some $50 million of that money forming a brand new gun control network according to AP:

Holder: DOJ Gun Control Efforts May Include “Gun Tracking Bracelets”

Melissa Melton
Activist Post

In a recent discussion on gun violence prevention programs, Attorney General Eric Holder told the House appropriations committee that the Department of Justice is considering smart gun tracking technologies, specifically:
…so that we can make sure people have the ability to enjoy their Second Amendment rights while at the same time, decreasing the uh misuse of, um, of weapons that lead to, uh, the kinds of things we see on a daily basis you know where people, kids especially, um are struck down…

Apparently these are technologies Holder says he learned about in a meeting with “technology people” that he and Joe Biden had when they were trying to pass their “common sense” gun reforms last year.
