Pentagon Plans Massive Global War Game to Prepare for Russia and Other Threats

By Jason Ditz

Continuing to envision the new Cold War with Russia both as a ticket for ongoing increases in military spending and a convenient way to coax regional allies into complicated alliances, the Pentagon is increasingly interested in building its war games across broad global conflicts, and in particular a war with Russia.

US war games used to be very regional, with one or no more than a handful of nations involved in very limited missions. In recent years, they’ve grown progressively in scope, and that’s no accident. Brig. Gen. John Healy, who coordinates exercises in Europe, says the US wants to prepare for more complex wars with broader goals.

Brig. Gen. Healy said the goal was even broader, saying in the long run the US is working toward a single, globally integrated war game, so that all the exercises are on the same page, and part of the same global war game.

It’s going to be difficult to boil all the war games down into a single one, since different regions have different bogeymen. It would be difficult, for instance, to bring the annual US war games in South Korea, traditionally practice for attacking North Korea, into being somehow about Russia.

  1. This is Stupid: Why not use a globl diplomatic without exploitation approach?

    • Because every single person on this planet in charge of something with a budget larger than a few million dollars is a complete narcissistic psycho with delusions of importance in the grand scheme. The meek WILL inherit the Earth; we’re willing to conduct honest business, and respect the cultures and natural boundaries of everyone. God is not mocked; the psychos lose in the end: believe it.

  2. Eisenhower warned of an ever expanding military industrial complex that would be too powerful to control and Eisenhower was a military man himself. The problem we are witnessing here however is one of ideology where all sides are corrupted. But I’d still rather live in the USA than China. And it appears that Trump is attempting to undo the leftist forces that have been responsible for infiltrating our government while surrounding himself with men who uphold Gods Word as the standard instead of Hillaryism, Satanism, etc.

    • In the same speech Eisenhower warned of the rise of the MIC, he also warned of the rise of a technocratic elite.

“…in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite. The prospect of domination of the nation’s scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present and is gravely to be regarded.

Global Technocracy is being swiftly and seamlessly implemented in supposed US rivals China, Russia, and Iran – faster than the US as TPTB take advantage of authoritarian systems to force their edicts on the masses. Which is also why, imho, we’re seeing political heads of state shifting into totalitarian rule, e.g. Erdogan, el-Sisi, Macron (self described “Jupiter”), May, Duterte, Maduro, Xi (taking Mao’s old title core leader), etc. …..In the middle east gulf region UN Agenda 2030 is “Vision 2030”, in Russia it’s “Strategy 2030” as Stalinism is socially engineered back into public consciousness. It’s a juggernaut. Trump admin proposals to sell off public infrastructure and create public private partnerships fits into the privatization aspect of 2030 and technocracy.

  3. Sanctioning Russia affects the E.U. too….it’s insanity….the reason….the embargo was designed to force Europe to import expensive American gas.
