As someone who believes in fairness and facts, I think there’s something that ought to be pointed out regarding the intense agita that’s going on in the United States after the Trump inauguration, and especially since President Trump’s Presidential Executive Order (PEO) regarding certain people coming into the USA.
I can’t go more deeply or further—I have to make this a quick Op Ed, as I’m in the process of writing a Respondent’s Brief to answer the electric utility PECO’s Brief regarding the Administrative Law Court hearing I had November 2 and 3, 2016 regarding my refusing an AMI Smart Meter.
However, please take the time to watch, and thoughtfully process, what Thomas Sotomayor says after the media clips exposing President Bill Clinton’s and President Barack Obama’s almost exact, if not more so, remarks regarding immigration and protecting the homeland.
I’ve been hearing radio reports of people showing up at psychologists offices with a new problem; it’s called “Trump Trauma.”
One of the more important undertakings anyone can do to ferret out the facts—“truth” as some would call it—is to study all the PEOs former President Obama put into the pipeline of unconstitutional actions, if readers will pardon that assessment, and yet NO ONE marched, protested or organized when U.S. citizens’ rights and wellbeing were encumbered or obstructed. That’s something I really can’t get my mind around in view of what’s going on about protesting against preventing potential terrorists flocking into the country.

while not a peep was heard from anyone; no one protested in the streets; no university exams had to be postponed; and everyone thought those PEOs were just ‘grand’! Is there some disconnect on my part, or is there some ulterior motive afoot to bring about a genuine civil war by those who seem so intent upon domination? Are protesters playing out a predetermined hand of behind-the-scene string-pullers the controlled media wont’ discuss as real news?
Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a four-term-elected U.S. President, issued 3,522 PEOs, and no ONE ever protested. He was a Democratic Party president too!
There is a tremendous influx of people [1] due to displacement from wars no one should be fighting or experiencing, in my opinion. All refugees may not be who they claim they are. Do U.S. protestors exercising their rights now know what’s going on in Sweden [2], Germany [3], France [4], the Netherlands, and other EU countries [5] due to extremists – not peaceful people of the Muslim faith – who obviously want to harm those whom they refer to as Infidels and to dismantle or overtake their countries and cultures? How can we tell the difference? Good question!?

That criminal activity, I believe, is what all U.S. citizens should be realizing is what the current PEO of so much consternation is really about preventing, and yet not fully understood by soft-hearted, well-meaning liberal Americans, in my opinion. All the EU countries that didn’t vet refugees more closely now are paying a tremendous social price. Do we want that in the USA?

Personally, I’m on record, and have written articles about, PEOs being “one man rule,” which should be eliminated and deconstructed, as I really don’t see where in the U.S. Constitution “one man rule” was given.
That was the very thing the Founding Fathers (and Mothers, too) were intent on avoiding because of their rebellion against King George III of England [6], whom they felt was a tyrant. Why would they ever have given “one man rule” powers in the founding documents of the new republic they were fighting so desperately to create? That doesn’t make sense, does it?
In my opinion, presidents stating that PEO powers are within the U.S. Constitution really don’t know what they are talking about, but press to possess the ultimate in one man autocratic rule, something really not within the U.S. Constitution and our founding documents.
However, there is the U.S. Code of Laws and in 8 U.S. Code § 1182 – Inadmissible Aliens, it states,
Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.

In reality, President Trump is UPHOLDING the U.S. laws regarding aliens even though many may not agree with his findings.
Personally, I think civics classes and courses should be mandated for all students at every grade level up to graduation so that we, as a country, can have well informed activists, voters and citizens, not fly-by-the-seat-of-their-pants reactionaries who are manipulated by a propagandizing press, in my opinion.
I hope this can help to bring some sense of reasoning as to why there should be more and better tolerance among political parties and their constituents, specifically those who have lost what they thought was ‘due’ them, because political tolerance has been the real American way.

Very good points! I am so tired of the Democrats demonizing Trump with their recent history supporting Hillary the WarMam and Obama the WarMan. Own up is what we all have to do. Our mistakes are understandable considering the Propaganda Machine (MSM) but it is wake up time….the alarm has been sounding for half a century. Wake up, Get up, and Get r done.
I think they ought to have the Marines round up these clowns, and haul them off to HitLIARy’s happy camp! While on the way they can be explained to of how Barry the prince of peace and the NDAA of 2011 negated Posse Comitatus, and Habeas Corpus! They wanted a Democracy instead of a Constitutional Republic.

No. Snowflakes and parasites (along with a few paid agit-props) would lose the war in a week; the men behind the curtains know this. Their subjects all live in cities and on college campii. Do you know how easy it would be to corral them in these "sanctuaries" by shooting out the tires of any truck which dares to come to and from a loading dock, freeway exit ramp or fueling station? The war might last less than a week, and we wouldn't have to kill one stinkin' person. These barbarous maggots, snakes, rats and roaches will feed upon themselves the moment they run out of food and wine.

The Immigration and Nationality Act passed June 27, 1952 revised the laws relating to immigration, naturalization, and nationality for the United States. That act, which became Public Law 414, established both the law and the intent of Congress regarding the immigration of Aliens to the US and remains in effect today. Among the many issues it covers, one in particular, found in Chapter 2 Section 212, is the prohibition of entry to the US if the Alien belongs to an organization seeking to overthrow the government of the United States by “force, violence, or other unconstitutional means.” This, by its very definition, rules out Islamic immigration to the United States, but this law is being ignored by the White House.Islamic immigration to the US would be prohibited under this law because the Koran, Sharia Law and the Hadith all require complete submission to Islam, which is antithetical to the US government, the Constitution, and to the Republic. All Muslims who attest that the Koran is their life’s guiding principal subscribe to submission to Islam and its form of government. Now the political correct crowd would say that Islamists cannot be prohibited from entering the US because Islam is a religion. Where was their outrage when it was discovered that the Hildebeest stole the election from Bernie ‘everything is free’ old fart, that never worked a day in his life, kinda like the hillbillaries and that ngo Soros with his paid mayhem groups.
They don’t know what they are protesting they only know what they are given; the signs, the place, the time and the chants. There is no need beyond that to get paid to be a George Soros Democrat operative. Mind is not required just body and sometimes soul.
Thanks Catherine, luck with your Smart Meter work. I forced the NavApache electrical company in AZ by putting an alluminum cake saver over the meter which cut down on the bad effects on me. They had to get out of their truck, hop our barb wire fence and take the reading after lifting up the hinged cover.
After a few months the driver just “happened to find” an anolog meter, previously thought to be all gone from the warehouse.
