Politicians Are Now Making Plans In Case The Public Turns Against Them Violently

Civil unrestBy James Holbrooks

As protests continue to break out all around the nation over President Donald Trump’s desire to scrap Obamacare, Politico reported Tuesday that many politicians are beginning to worry about their own personal safety — to the point where some are having private sessions to discuss the matter.

Citing sources who were in the room, Politico writes:

House Republicans during a closed-door meeting Tuesday discussed how to protect themselves and their staffs from protesters storming town halls and offices in opposition to repealing Obamacare.

Some of the suggestions, the news outlet reports, include “having a physical exit strategy at town halls, or a backdoor at congressional offices to slip out of, in case demonstrations turn violent; having local police monitor town halls; replacing any glass office-door entrances with heavy doors and deadbolts; and setting up intercoms to ensure those entering congressional offices are there for appointments, not to cause chaos.”

While protests are popping up all over, the Republicans’ private session was no doubt prompted by events that happened over the weekend. While speaking before a raucous crowd in Roseville, California, Representative Tom McClintock had to be escorted from the stage and away from the event by local police officers.

McClintock, who held town hall meetings during the politically volatile days of both the Tea Party and Occupy movements, told The Hill he’s never seen anything like it:

This was something very different. After an hour, the incident commander for the Roseville Police Department advised us the situation was deteriorating and felt it necessary to get me out of the venue. That’s never happened before.

This sentiment appeared to be echoed at Tuesday’s closed-door session. Commenting on the meeting, Republican Study Committee Chairman Mark Walker of North Carolina stated:

The message was: One, be careful for security purposes. Watch your back. And two, be receptive. Honor the First Amendment, engage, be friendly, be nice. Because it is toxic out there right now. Even some of the guys who have been around here a lot longer than I have, have never seen it to this level.

Sources told Politico that the potential for violence is serious enough, in fact, that the House sergeant-at-arms has asked congressional offices to report any threat. That office is also passing out manuals on best practices to keep staffers safe.

Ironically, the backlash over the possible repeal of Obamacare that Republicans are facing now is similar to the backlash faced by Democrats years back as they were trying to force Obamacare into law.

“It’s not that you run from protesters,” Representative David Reichert of Washington said during an interview after the meeting, “but if someone presents some sort of physical threat or are espousing a verbal threat that could lead to a physical threat, if you feel that you’re in danger and your staff is in danger, call 911 and leave and go out the back door.”

In other words…run. Call the cops and run.

  1. Is that the same Politico that’s alleged to have published fake news? Or the one that’s known to publish fake news? Either way anything with their name attached is…tainted.

  2. If you’re a traitor politician you can run but yoy can’t hide.

  3. Wow, the slaves are threatening violence if uncle satan doesn’t put a gun to their head and force them to buy “health” insurance.

  4. The dawn of the purging of the leftists is on the horizon!! Clueless zombies.

  5. I’m sure all members of the pedophile ring are thinking about their exit strategies right about now. Those cockroaches should have scattered as soon as the lights were turned on.

    Too late now.

  6. Folks have no idea what nightmares our government and PRIVATE corps have created to stave a rebellion. If or when the SHTF, it will be like nothing this world has ever seen. So mind blowing and insurmountable, all resistance will quickly stand down. We must pray that another usurper like Obama never steps into the oval office. Barrack Hussein laid enough ground work, placed sufficient subversives inside our borders, so that unless God intervenes, a like minded successor could easily replace our Constitution and end our Republic. One thing we know is that some time in the future the bible assures us there will be a one world government, and that cannot happen with America, a sovereign super power, existing as a Constitutional Republic governed by We The People.

    • Sorry, this “Constitutional Republic” you wrote of… hasn’t been since the FED was created, but there are many opinions out there about it.
WE haven’t been a nation of laws and decency for many many years.
It’s all about power and greed, sadly that’s the human end and goal no matter what
      throughout history.

      • And that is our fault.

We the People have duties also, and we have NOT been doing them. what do you expect when one branch of the government of the USA is not doing its duties (First branch and the fount of all authority is the people – they created the states, then the federal government as the representative for state government in dealing with foreign affairs?

        • We the People does not refer to the populace. The populace created neither the states, nor the federal government. We the People is more properly, ‘We the Masons”.

      • They never paid attention to constitution. The federal republic was created to consolidate the states’ debts, so the debt holders could collect full face value, in silver, the scrip that had become worth pennies on the dollar during the war for independence. The federal government paid reparations of 600,000 pounds sterling to king to continue to do business as usual, and passed the sedition act, in order to attempt to keep the deal secret.

    • Do you read and know the US Constitution? Have you done the same with your state’s Constitution? Are you trained as the Congress requires the military to be trained? Are you armed and trained in the proper use of those arms?

Are you an informed juror? Do you know that it is the jury who decides if a law is good or bad, if it is to be ignored in this case because of the circumstances? Do you know that it is the jury who decides if a judge must be investigated in the other trials that they sat over to see if they used the constitutionally REQUIRED “good Behaviour”, so that if they did not they could be charged and go through a jury trial to be removed from that position? Etc.

It is YOUR duty to do those things, to be knowledgeable in those things because without that knowledge how can it be a “Government by the People for the People”?

John Adams wrote to Abigail April 26, 1777 and said: “Is it not intolerable, that the opening Spring, which I should enjoy with my Wife and Children upon my little Farm, should pass away, and laugh at me, for laboring, Day after Day, and Month after Month, in a Conclave, Where neither Taste, nor Fancy, nor Reason, nor Passion, nor Appetite can be gratified?
Posterity! You will never know, how much it cost the present Generation, to preserve your Freedom! I hope you will make a good Use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven, that I ever took half the Pains to preserve it.”

Thomas Paine: “Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it. The event of yesterday was one of those kind of alarms which is just sufficient to rouse us to duty, without being of consequence enough to depress our fortitude. It is
not a field of a few acres of ground, but a cause, that we are defending, and whether we defeat the enemy in one battle, or by degrees, the consequences will be the same.”

      Some things to consider…

North Carolina Supreme Court decision, given prior to the culmination of the Constitutional Convention: “But that it was clear that no act they could pass could by any means repeal or alter the constitution, because if they could do this, they would at the same instant of time destroy their own existence as a legislature and dissolve the government thereby established.” Bayard v. Singleton [1 N.C. 42] 1787

Hermann Goering (Hitler’s Reich-Marshall at the Nurenberg Trials after World War II): “Naturally, the common people don’t want war, but after all, it is the leaders of a country who determine its policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag people along whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliamentary system or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, people can
always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifist for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to
danger. It works the same in every country.”

Henry Clay: “Far better is it for ourselves, for Hungary, and for the cause of liberty, that … avoiding the distant wars of Europe, we should keep our lamp burning brightly on the western shore, as a light to all nations, than to hazard its utter extinction among the ruins of fallen or falling republics in
      Europe.”

John Quincy Adams: “Wherever the standard of freedom and independence has been or shall be unfurled there will America’s hearts, her benedictions, and her prayers be. But she goes not abroad
in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher of the freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.”

      • Your post is tooooo looong.
        I won’t read it.

      • Looks like the snowflake censors at nonactivist post are at it again. So, here’s another attempt.

Are you aware of the the true history of the constitution? Or, are you basing your beliefs on the lies that they told you in school? Here’s a couple of things for you to consider. Nobody ever had the right to declare themselves to be government. The only legitimate function of government is the protection of the individual’s right to tend to their own needs. Anything more than that is mob rule. The authors of the constitution voted against the bill of rights unanimously, 10-0, when the motion for inclusion was put forth by Elbridge Gerry, and seconded by Edmund Randolph. The states insisted on the bill of rights as a condition of ratification. North Carolina, alone, proposed 74 amendments. Only 55 delegates of 70 attended the convention. Patrick Henry refused to attend, saying, “I smelt a rat”. Rhode Island sent no delegates. Thirteen attendees left the proceedings. Two from New York wrote letters of complaint to the governor. Only 39 of the 55 attendees signed the document.

        • Um…

          * The Constitution was dutifully ratified by the requisite number of states.

          * The point about the Bill of Rights: It was pointed out at the time by some thoughtful souls that such a thing could become misleading, since the Constitution was not creating any such power for the federal government to NEED to be hemmed in further by such an addition (than the terms of the contract itself; which gave to the federal govt. only LIMITED and DELEGATED powers – “few and defined,” in the rather authoritative words of the man to become known as the Father of the Constitution, James Madison); which, item, perversely, could lead some to believe that the new federal govt. COULD DO those sorts of things if it weren’t FOR such a specific counter to federal power (the Bill of Rights being just an EXAMPLE of powers and rights retained by “the States, or the people;” see the 9th and 10th catch-all Amendments). But others did not trust such a political contract without the well-known addition of a Bill of Rights; and the latter attitude prevailed. And some would say, ‘More’s the pity’ because the advice of the former ‘voice’ of the people has proven to be correct. We have been done in by shyster lawyer types.

It’s time to set things right in this country. And live by the true rule of law – to say, the Constitution itself. Not the wet noodle that it has been turned into.

          • “Um…”

I have no idea what this means.

“* The Constitution was dutifully ratified by the requisite number of states.”

Dutifully? They were only supposed to propose suggestions for amendments to be voted upon by Congress. Not that it matters. Nobody has, or ever had the right to declare themselves to be government. Only a mindless slave would think otherwise.

“* The point about the Bill of Rights: It was pointed out at the time by some thoughtful souls that such a thing could become misleading, since the Constitution was not creating any such power for the federal government to NEED to be hemmed in further by such an addition (than the terms of the contract itself; which gave to the federal govt. only LIMITED and DELEGATED powers – “few and defined,” in the rather authoritative words of the man to become known as the Father of the Constitution, James Madison); which addition, perversely, could lead some to believe that the new federal govt. COULD DO those sorts of things if it weren’t FOR such a specific counter to federal power (the Bill of Rights being just an EXAMPLE of powers and rights retained by “the States, or the people;” see the 9th and 10th catch-all Amendments).”

What an awful, babbling, run-on sentence. Typical mindless, political blithering. Total BS. Are you unfamiliar with the principles of inclusion and exclusion? Thoughtful souls? How about scheming usurpers? Could become misleading? They were the ones who were misleading, and Patrick Henry’s anti Federalist arguments called it advance. Your run-on sentence is self contradictory. If the constitution was intended to limit government, it would have to be specifically exclusionary, and there is no such wording that can possibly be construed as such. The ‘rather authoritative’ words of James Madison? What authority was granted to him? What authority does anybody have over anybody else? Who can grant such ‘authority’? This is the same double speaking politician who wrote to Jefferson saying that while he thought a Bill of Rights was a good idea, didn’t think it belonged either in the body proper, or as amendments to the constitution. Then, when the ratification was in jeopardy, quickly turned tail, like the two faced, lying politician he was, and backed the Bill of Rights. There were over one hundred proposed amendments from the states, but Madison reduced them to ten, to save ‘his’ constitution. Your use of all caps shows emotional instability, and irrationality.

“But others did not trust such a political contract without the well-known addition of a Bill of Rights; and the latter attitude prevailed.”

And the others were right. The attendees of the convention were overwhelmingly Masons, descended from a long line of pirates, slavers, spies and thieves. The attendees of the convention were overwhelmingly members of a secret society, who met in private, sworn to life long vows of silence regarding the proceedings. Only a fool, at best, would trust them. It took only approximately two generations for the corruption in the newly formed nation to become so rampant that a political movement against their secret society would form. That was the only time that the nation was debt free, and not involved in foreign aggression.

“And some would say, ‘More’s the pity’ because the advice of the former ‘voice’ of the people has proven to be correct.”

What kind of psycho babble is this? The federalists were proven to be bloviating, pompous jackasses, and the anti federalists were right. Patrick Henry called it: king, conscription, taxation and empire. Notions of empire weren’t expressed until the Monroe Doctrine, but the rest occurred under Washington, who donned his uniform (the act of a king, not a president) to crush a tax protest with conscripted troops. Patrick Henry also warned of using national security as a reason for secrecy, which was the purpose of the sedition act, which was later ruled unconstitutional.

“We have been done in by shyster lawyer types.”

Shyster lawyer types wrote the conjobstitution. They programmed you in school to trust them, without question.

“It’s time to set things right in this country.”

How about tending to your own affairs, without meddling in the affairs of others? You have the right to enslave yourself to any system of your choosing. You have absolutely no right to expect anyone else to put up with your nonsense.

“And live by the true rule of law – to say, the Constitution itself.”

You’ve been schooled, by the shyster lawyers you think meant to protect you with the hopelessly vague constitution. The supreme court has ruled the the constitution is a contract between the states and the federal government, that the citizens are not party to. You have no standing in the federal courts.

“Not the wet noodle that it has been turned into.”

The wet noodle is your brain. I bet you didn’t even bother to read the document I referenced. The cowardly censors here blocked the link, so I had to obfuscate it, to get by the imbeciles. Educate yourself. You don’t know history.

  7. “When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” Thomas Jefferson.

    • Problem is…. Politicians will do or say anything to please the crowds…. if Leftists get violent enough and the police don’t stop the violence, the Leftists could win…..

      • Who does the US Constitution say is required to …
        — Enforce the US Constitution (supreme LAW of our land) and each state’s Constitution (highest LAW of the state),
        — Enforce and keep the “Laws of the Union” (which are constitutional laws ONLY),
        — Protect the country against all enemies both domestic and foreign, and
        — “to suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions”.

It is NOT a governmental enforcement agency. It is the people themselves as the Militia. Read the US Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, Clause 15: “To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel invasions.“

Here are the duties that those who SERVE WITHIN our state and federal government have to the Militias of the several states, which is found in Clause 16: “To provide for organizing, arming and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress”.

Richard Henry Lee, First Senate: “A militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves…”

George Mason, Co-author of the Second Amendment: “I ask, Sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people except for a few public officials. To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them.”

The reason that the PEOPLE are to be trained as the congress requires the military to be trained, and to own arms of all types and as many as they can afford is to be able to protect themselves, their families, neighborhoods, cities, counties, etc.

One can never depend on a governmental enforcement agency. Those that serve within them NEVER keep their Oaths obey and enforce unlawful orders; “stand down” when told to do so instead of defending the people from who their wages come from; do NOT enforce the supreme law or even the highest law of their own state if a state employee, etc.

      • “When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” Thomas Jefferson.

    • a”House Republicans during a closed-door meeting Tuesday discussed how to
protect themselves and their staffs from protesters storming town halls
and offices in opposition to repealing Obamacare.”

Not a difficult problem, Have the sheriff posted at the event and remove and/or arrest protestors for disorderly conduct.

Doesn’t take rocket scientist to know that!!!!

  8. “Call the cops and run.” Exposes them for the cowards they are don’t ya think?

    • Yep, another rino from the socialist state of Washington. Reichert has been around these socialist democrats in WA for so long, he may as well just join their pinko group.
George Washington is probably twisting and rolling over in his grave…

  9. Afraid to post mine huh? That say’s a lot.

  10. When the people fear their government it is tyranny. When the government fears the people, it is liberty! These traitors on both the left and the right can run, but they cannot hide. This is what they get on both sides of the political aisle for running two of the worst candidates ever. It is the people who should be calling on the cops to chase down the politicians! Tar and feather a few of their key leadership fat cats and you will see political reform happen over night.

  11. You know why this “revolt” has gotten dangerous? Because the “protesters” are white. You see – Hitler & the Boys from Brazil had gotten comfortable in using the following to distract the masses: “the BLM movement; the Muslim invasion; “there’s bombs under your beds”; “the illegal immigrants/the wall”. You see, this BS can only WORK up to a Point.

  12. You protect yourself with the 2nd amendment.

  13. Ironically, the backlash over the possible repeal of Obamacare that Republicans are facing now is similar to the backlash faced by Democrats years back as they were trying to force Obamacare into law.

What a crock of $#it! The way I remember it, Democrats walked smugly down Pa Ave arm in arm with Pelosi holding that goofy huge gavel. They weren’t scared of the TEA Party. They’re scared now because they know exactly who these people are. They created them!

  14. Just republicans? Why would that be unless democrats in general are dangerous?
Frankly where were these violent protesters everytime the DEMOCRATS robbed our social security?

  15. What town halls? My democratic congressman Joaquin Castro (D) doesn’t give town halls. He hides. Call his staff sometime and ask when the next one will be…you will hear crickets. I doubt he’s afraid of violence….he just can’t answer any honest questions.

Tea Party violence? GIVE ME A BREAK. Remember those SWAT teams at Tea Party rallies? Where are they now when they are actually NEEDED? Vets have to come out for Dakota Pipeline Protestors who are getting blasted for trying to protect their water rights.

  16. WHAT? MY POST IS BEING “APPROVED” BY ACTIVIST POST? The home of the AnarchoVols? surely you jest.

  17. 24min… and still not approved. WTFever!

  18. hey Mr. Broze….. and Mr. Armani. ARE YOU SEEING THIS? how about you Mr. Suarez?

  19. trump needs to shut down these soros organizations, so the money stops flowing to the evil left for the violence that they have been perpetrating.

  20. If our Congresspeople had been doing their jobs for the last 8 years, they wouldn’t need to be afraid today. We are fed up with their lies and cronyism and deals to enrich themselves and bankrupt the nation. I hope all these traitors end up dead.
