Innocent Man Stands Up to Entire SWAT Team Raiding His Home With No Warrant — He Wins

PrivatePoliceBy Matt Agorist

On Thursday morning, an Odessa man and his family were rudely awakened by a dozen militarized DEA and SWAT officers with AR-15s at their front door. Instead of cowering to the men who were clearly not authorized to be there, this man stood his ground and sent them on their way.

“We were rudely awakened, they just started banging on the door,” said the man who wishes to remain anonymous in an interview with KEPJ News, “I just didn’t like the way they did it.”

Ector County SWAT team was assisting the DEA in a raid on Tripp Avenue when they simply decided to move to the next house and attempt to enter without a warrant. The next house belonged to this innocent man, who was angered by such a vulgar display of incompetent power.

As the SWAT team tries to enter the man’s home without a warrant, he began filming and giving them a piece of his mind.

After their verbal beating, the cops finally left but not before one of them flipped him off.

On Friday, while speaking with KPEJ, the agency released the following statement regarding the matter:

On May 5, 2016, agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration executed a federal search warrant on Tripp Avenue. During the course of this same investigation, agents contacted (the resident) who resides at a nearby residence. (The resident) was uncooperative with the agents so they departed the premises without incident.

Luckily for the man filming, he and his family were not held at gunpoint, forced from the home, arrested, or worse. All too often we see instances of incompetent SWAT teams raid the wrong home and unapologetically assault, maim, or otherwise murder the occupants.

Case after case we see SWAT teams kick down doors to homes, shoot dogs, throw grenades at babies, and even kill innocent people because they are at the wrong house, or acting on incorrect information.

Marianne Diaz and her children were asleep during the pre-dawn hours of August 18 when a gang of heavily armed militarized men kicked in the door to their apartment and began terrorizing this family. Diaz was woken up by the sound of multiple doors being kicked in. The next thing she knew, she was naked and on her knees, looking down the barrels of several AR-15 rifles. “Stop f**king crying and take care of your f**king kids,” she quoted one officer as saying. According to Diaz, the militarized gang would keep her in this state of terror, completely nude, for ten minutes.

Tabatha Werkmeister, Grinage Dion Wilson and their four young children, ages 2 through 9 were subject to violent militarized men kicking in their door in a pre-dawn raid in January of last year. These armed men threw a smoke bomb into their home and forced the family, who was barefoot and in their pajamas, into the 20-degree snowy weather outside. To provide them with a bit of police state comfort, they were forced into the back of an unheated SWAT vehicle for nearly an hour before the SWAT team realized they were at the wrong home.

  1. That little gay (as in ‘happy’ of course), that little GAY jackboot, fairy princess pig that flipped him off…bwaaah….go home to your boyfriend ‘tough gay’, he’s got a glass of Chardonngay waiting for you and you FAVORITE FLICK, Brokeback Mountain qued up! Giddy up girls 😉

  2. Why do we have “SWAT” teams? They came about after Patty Hearst and the “SLA” — which I recall was headed by Bill and Emily Harris, two former Iowa cops who managed to NOT be at the house in LA that was burned to the ground with the “SLA” members inside just like in Waco TX and what they did to Chris Dorner. QUESTION EVERYTHING.

    • Wow! didn’t know that Bill & Emily Harris were former Iowa cops!!!! Just wow! So much is being revealed now days…we are truly on our own!!!!!!!!!!!!! They’re all crooks!

      • Its showing the evolution of the conmen, they got tired of fighting the
cops and the government and became them.

      • If you want to learn more about the SLA, LAPD informant Louis Tackwood and the Glass House, I recommend THE ESSENTIAL MAE BRUSSELL: INVESTIGATIONS OF FASCISM IN AMERICA, edited by Alex Constantine. Mae, god rest her soul, is the antecedent of today’s Alex Joneses and Michael Savages, albeit from a slightly leftist POV.

Killed, like Jack Ruby, by CIA “Wildfire Cancer”. We miss ya, Mae.

    • Correct, Chris Dorner returned money found to a korean church, he was a good guy.

The cops in LA looking for Dorner were so blood thirsty they shot up a car with
two women in it before even asking them to step out of the vehicle.

Dorner apparently knew something that would expose the corrupt out there.

  3. Not surprised since he’s from far west Texas, a far cry from the wusses in East Texas!

  4. Ever notice that police unions are “fraternal”? This should tell you something. The “thin-blue-line” is a gang, little different than street gangs–at least when it comes to “covering-up” questionable behavior by police.
In today’s day and age, “officer safety” trumps de-escalation of force. This, in part, is due to the militarization of the police along with training in Israeli police tactics. This becomes a problem, with the “us vs. them” attitude that is fosters, along with the fact that Israel is a very different place, being on a constant “war footing”, and by necessity, its police tactics are very different.
There are too many instances of police being “given a pass”, even when incontrovertible video and audio evidence is presented. Grand juries, guided by police-friendly prosecutors, quite often refuse to charge those police officers who abuse their authority.
Police officers, who want to do the right thing, are quite often marginalized and put into harms way, by their own brethren…When a police officer is beating on someone that is already restrained while yelling, “stop resisting” THAT is but one reason police have a “bad name” in many instances…
Here are changes that can help reduce the police-induced violence:
    1. Get rid of police unions. Police unions (fraternities) protect the guilty, and are responsible for the massive whitewashing of questionable police behavior that is presently being committed.
    2. Eliminate both “absolute” and “qualified” immunity for all public officials. This includes, prosecutors and judges, police and firefighters, code enforcement and child protective services officials, and others who deal with the citizenry. The threat of being sued personally would encourage them to behave themselves. Require police officers to be “bonded” by an insurance company, with their own funds. No bond= no job.
    3. Any public funds disbursed to citizens as a result of police misconduct should come out of police pension funds–NOT from the taxpayers.
    4. Regular drug-testing of police officers as well as incident-based drug testing should take place whenever an officer is involved in a violent situation with a citizen–no exceptions.
    5. Testing for steroid use should be a part of the drug testing program. You know damn well, many police officers “bulk up” with the “help” of steroids. Steroids also affect users mentally as well, making them more aggressive. The potential for abuse of citizens increases greatly with steroid use.
    6. Internal affairs should only be used for disagreements between individual officers–NOT for investigations involving citizen abuse. State-level investigations should be mandatory for all suspected abuses involving citizens.
    7. Prosecutors should be charged with malfeasance IF any evidence implicating police officer misconduct is not presented to the grand jury.
    8. A national or state-by-state database of abusive individuals who should NEVER be allowed to perform police work should be established–a “blacklist” of abusive (former) police officers.
    9. Most people are unaware that police have special “rules” that prohibit them from being questioned for 48 hours. This allows them to “get their stories straight” and makes it easier to “cover up” bad police behavior. Police must be subject to the same laws as civilians.
    10. All police should be required to wear bodycams and utilize dashcams that cannot be turned off. Any police officers who causes a dash or body cam to be turned off should be summarily fired–no excuses. Today’s body and dash cams are reliable enough to withstand harsh treatment. Body and dashcam footage should be uploaded to a public channel “on the cloud” for public perusal.
    11. All interrogations must be video and audio recorded. Police should be prohibited from lying or fabricating stories in order to get suspects to confess. False confessions ARE a problem in many departments. Unknown to most people, police can lie with impunity while civilians can be charged with lying to police…fair? I think not…
    12. Any legislation passed that restricts the rights of ordinary citizens, such as firearms magazine capacity limits, types of weapons allowed, or restrictive concealed-carry laws should apply equally to police. No special exemptions to be given to police. Laws must be equally applied.
Police work is not inherently dangerous…there are many other professions that are much more dangerous.
A little “Andy Taylor” could go a long way in allaying fears that citizens have of police.
That being said, I have no problem with police officers who do their job in a fair, conscientious manner…however, it is time to call to task those police officers who only “protect and serve” themselves.

  5. He spoke the language they understood.

  6. It won’t be long before they set this guy up for shaming them on youtube.

  7. The sad part about it is that it is obvious that they know they are wrong!!!! This was a bluff to see if they could intimidate the innocent to accomplish their objective. Note how they were hiding their faces, don’t want headquarters to know!

  8. Gangs in uniform are still gangs; just like the military, police and politicians.. We need to know more ways to take these jagoffs down when the need arises. Please publish more ways to physically handle these thugs.

  9. The Founding Fathers would hang every member of that SWAT team in the open street and leave their bodies out for the crows to pick out their eyes. Not good enough people to stain American soil with their footprints. The Redcoats acted the same and they found it quite amusing hearing accounts of how their bodies were dragged through the streets behind horses until they disintegrated. America was never intended for such people to live in.

  10. All of this comes from a belief in government. If enough people wake up to the illusion…this won’t happen, Anarchyst has good ideas in a sane society…..but we don;t have that.

  11. Police state….Ron Paul warned us back in 2008 and just look how right he was

  12. The Federales think they can do anything. I don’t care if someone was selling drugs. Why not wait for them to leave and stop them? What is up with showing up and banging on the door of the neighbor? I have neighbor’s I never speak to and have never been inside their houses. I mind my own business and they mind theirs. I like it that way.

Odd, the cops just didn’t look bloodthirsty… must not have shot up their morning ‘roids.

  15. I am so very impressed with this guy! This is the attitude we should all learn to have. Not many could do this. Most would bow and scrap and grin and let them do whatever they wanted. The VIDEOING is the trick!! When we get pulled over by cops, we gotta start the videoing. This is a big deterant, now. Later they won’t care if we continue to think the law is right and the guys in uniforms and ladden with weapons are in the right. This man’s attitude was right ON! Right in their face. He not once allowed them to see a hint of weakness but notice no violence. That LEO giving the finger will be his undoing and will help others to see what idiots the FEDs and LEOs can be!! The good guys that are LEOs will most certainly be replying on this site.

  16. Police occupation welcomes all bullies from junior high and high school to come in and become “peace” officers! The more abusive, the more promotions and the more protection from retribution. The existence of police unions, associations and fraternities is more dangerous to Americans than the Russian military.

  17. This homeowner is extremely fortunate to be alive.

  18. it never seems to be “respectable” middle-class people whose homes those blue-uniformed thugs barge into. they only know how to pick on working class people.

  19. Good for this guy. Notice how they walk away like bullies after they were challenged. And really? Flipping the bird to a citizen? Real professional. How are people supposed to conclude they’re just bullies with guns? Get your bleeping warrant and knock this stuff off. IT’S THE LAW. The guy is lucky they didn’t shoot him.

  20. Just another day in the “Abuse of Authority” field. Someone points a finger and you’re automatically guilty. Simply because SOMEONE wanted drama and told a lie.
Leave it to the dramatic liberals!
