You may have noticed how the media kept referring to the terrorist incident in San Bernardino as “a mass-shooting incident” hoping to steer the tragedy away from what it really was to yet another call for gun control. Frame the argument. That’s what lawyers do; and the last thing you ever want a politician to do when their agenda is the destruction of the Constitution and your enumerated rights therein. But the key point of the no-fly list and gun ownership prohibition connection is the question of “who” makes the determination as to whom is on that list. And what are the criteria? Anyone? If the late Senator Ted Kennedy could keep popping up on that list, it should be obvious that there are very big problems with such a plan.
It seems the no fly list will become the new attack on gun control. he’s not fooling anyone.
