Why, of All People, Is Henry Kissinger the Voice of Reason on Syria?

By Melissa Dykes

You know things are pretty far gone when one of the most notorious warmongerers is the voice of restraint in Syria.

War criminal Henry Kissinger, who has been involved in escalating numerous crises in other countries for decades now, is actually managing to sound like the voice of rational thought and compromise over Syria.

“The destruction of ISIS is more urgent than the overthrow of Bashar Assad,” he wrote in the Wall Street Journal on Friday. “The current inconclusive U.S. military effort risks serving as a recruitment vehicle for ISIS as having stood up to American might.”

No one, other than the insane warhawks running the show at NATO, want to see a full-on war with Russia… not even Henry Kissinger apparently.

“The U.S. is now opposed to, or at odds in some way or another with, all parties in the region,” Kissinger warns.

Meanwhile, Senator John McCain and his ilk who seek a wider war just keep beating this “we’ve got to train more moderate rebels” drum. At a recent NATO press conference in Brussels, General Keane warned that it is Russia who is starting a proxy war with the U.S., and called again for us to train more “moderate rebels,” even though we are being told the half-a-billion-dollar program only netted what, four or five guys?

Even Obama is backtracking now, claiming he never thought it was a good idea from the beginning (even though he continued to play his part asking Congress for more and more funding on the program he was supposedly always skeptical of).

The real truth is, as Putin so eloquently points out, there are no moderate rebels.

On an aside, take a look at the difference between where the Russian strikes are and the U.S. strikes are in Syria.

RussianusstrikesyriaThe U.S. has been “striking” Syria for over a year now and, other than a sustained money maker for U.S. defense contractors and another defense budget black hole, what exactly does our government have to show for it?

  1. ???Something??? transpired behind the Wizard of Oz’s curtain just prior to Russia’s air strike deployment…I know that the cabals all squabble with each other…BUT…some all powerful edict was decreed from ‘on High’ by the Pyramid Cap shadow masters, that prompted the Zionists (NATO/Israhell/et al) to do an about face…’.Kiss-of-death-inger’ aka ‘Jabba the Hut’ inclusive…the question remains…”who(m)” is that powerful… that these bankster/gangsters capitulated ?…as is now….. particularly obvious???…Reptile overlords from Planet Janet?

    • Squabbling or elaborate theater? It’s hard to tell given major players occasionally jostle for leverage and to negotiate better terms for themselves. In this case, the TIMING is too coincidental to coincide with the apogee of the FRAMING for global governance including climate change hysteria, UN summit, cashless society, vaccine totalitarianism, Ebola psy op, “currency wars”, Establishment talking heads openly discussing potential for extreme volatility in the global economy, refugee crises, etc. Assuming the script calls for US/NATO and Russian posturing followed by collaboration to form an international military force, we can guess what will come next. BTW, > 5 years ago I noticed the NY Times began using new terminology describing global coalitions and international military forces when reporting on international conflicts and terrorist attacks. Following one terrorist attack the NY Times author of an article concluded “We are all Africans now”. The seeds of new memes…

  2. Kissinger, an early Trilateralist member, has long been the global elites’ right hand man and major political policy henchman. Why else was he initially chosen to oversee the 9/11 Commission? He’s been a formal adviser to the Vatican and a close adviser to Putin. As Nixon’s National Security Adviser, Kissinger spearheaded the transfer of advanced military technology to the Soviets making the case in Orwellian black is white language more advanced weaponry would temper the Soviets’ global ambitions of conquest.

We should know by now not to take ANY domestic or international political rhetoric at face value, there are always multiple layers of deception unwinding beneath the surface. Instead of expounding frustration at more of the usual mendacity, we are better off preparing for the next curve balls: a glorified UN, liberty destroying “treaties”, expansion of biometric IDs, cashless society agenda, and global governance,

    • & then there’s this quote of his …saying that he foresees Israhell being thrown under the bus in the near future…WTF?…almost as weird as the quiet capitulation of the zion Obominator admin. tucking their tails/tales between their legs & doing a 180 almost immediately within the span of a couple of daze

      • Weird and not weird. It’s becoming increasingly clear the US, Israel, and Saudi Arabia are being deliberately portrayed as rogue and rapacious. Early in the Syrian conflict I followed a link to a gatekeeper “conservative” controlled op website and noticed a surprising article positing a collaborating Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Israel were “a new axis of evil” describing KSA working on an agreement to purchase nukes or access to nukes from Israel. Concurrently, an “alt media” writer known for his economic collapse lists joined the fray with an absurd claim that KSA was blackmailing the US to go into Syria to fight its sectarian battles. Then there were “revelations” some congressional reps were looking into classified government documents showing KSA was behind 9/11. New narratives floated to create scapegoats and cartoonish clashes for cover as the elites take steps to end of the dollar reserve system. This summer the CFR’s publication Foreign Policy was harshly negative describing KSA (and the US as its backer) actions in Yemen, hypocritically lamenting violations of international laws. At what point does the CFR criticize its own puppets? Bottom line is the shifting Kabuki theater and scapegoating keep the blame off the top of the pyramid while positioning the UN as the solution.

  3. Oh Edwardo are you still lying to these poor people?
